Yes a quiet option would be fantastic. I have a DG muffler that i took off because it was simply too loud for my taste. I like that its half the weight but hate the noise. If i could get something as quiet as stock with less weight i would be all over it.
Look into air box volume to engine displacement ratio. You'll be surprised what you find out. Helmholtz resonance frequency is effected by air box volume. Hitting this frequency at the rpm you want to target is ideal. The equation is online, of course. Also, reflecting possitive pressure waves back into the intake tube. Don't assume the manufacturer actually got the intake tube length perfect. Converging cone intake tubes behave like a longer tube of consistent diameter, nice trick to know for getting the length correct in a short frame. Google up Anti-reversion chamber, it's worth it's weight in gold. I wish you the best and hope to see your products sell like hot cakes
Does everyone have a buddy named "Tater"???? Or is it the same guy? Lol But awesome that you're putting some mods out for these. When I was an MX tech I modded 2 out for a guy and they were blown away by the change in performance. My CAD (certified ass dyno) indicated almost twice the stock hp.
I also was wondering if in the near future you were coming out with maybe a heavy chain's & Sprockets for us that have a extended Swingarm I have a chain problem it keeps coming off Do to the Swingarm size and size of chain maybe a chain tensioner would help but can't seem to find one that fits I'm hoping you guys will come out with chain tensioner or heavy chains and heaver sprockets to fit the heavy chain this is my Swingarm setup: PRODUCT DETAIL: [Set Contents] Main unit Chain 150 link Extended brake rod Homer nut x 4 (M6 x 50mm high nut, 190mm skew bolt) Axle collar (large x 3, small x 2)
Good stuff Brad! The cam gear advanced on that bike? Is your cam gear heat treated? How is the durability? Look forward to the exhaust and intake mods.
The cam gear is advanced on his bike, yes. Our cam gear is laser cut so naturally it is heat treated on the profile. We keep a check on ours from time to time. Zero wear.
I'm very excited also I'm getting my 26 inch tire hub kit tomorrow so I'm very interested on what would be a good set up for my TW to be able to push that huge tire with ease. Plus I use my TW to commute to and from work like a 20 minute ride on the highway so I was wondering would a 15 front Sprocket & a 70 rear Sprocket work good on the highway also 65 mph speed limit with the 26 inch tire?
I think 15/70 is going to be bad low when shooting for 65mph. I think you are going to be at more like 14/57 or 15/57 to achieve those speeds. 14/57 still gives you off-road capabilities while still being able to cruise at 55 with a 26" tire. 15/57 will get you closer to 60 at cruise.
How do I get those results that you had for your modified T W200 so I can put those parts from you on my stock 2008 TW200 You retired US Army sergeant major Gamsby
Super excited about the exhaust. A quiet series would be great like fmf's "Q" series. Appreciate what yall do man!!

Yes needs to be quiet.. fmf with the insert is still to loud.. love the tone just could do without the loudness
I was just thinking of a slotted cam gear for timing. Cant wait to see how they hold up

I appreciate your highly intellectual comments. I will sure do that. Thank you.
A quiet, lightweight, free flowing exhaust would be awesome! I just sold my fmf and put the stock exhaust back on because it was too loud for me.
Great job guys

That is impressive.
"There you have it, that bike rips." 😂😅🤣 It made a whole bunch of noise, spun the tire .5 seconds then pulled off slowly while screaming.😂😂😂💀
Yeah dude it’s a 200cc bike spinning a 26 inch ATV knobby, it definitely rips compared to stock.
Can’t wait
