The group series is Outlast. I saw the first episode yesterday and it looks like a bunch of drama and back stabbing. Alone rocks! I just finished season 8 a couple days ago. Perfect timing for this!

Great Episode once again. BTW...Clay had a lot of golden nuggets of advice. However most of us dont live in Rural America. Would love to see some Episodes (A mini series kinda like yall did with cartridges) on what those in Suburbia could do to put themselves on better ground in the even we have a major problem for a few months or a couple years!

Muzzle loaders can be classified as a firearm if the receiver is compatible with a cartridge barrel or can be readily convertible. For example the TC Encore FX was a muzzle loader and needed no FFL but the TC encore XT was a muzzle loader but was compatible with the other Encore barrels thus making it a firearm.

Making soap. I feel like that would be pretty essential, but is easy to gloss over.

fireplace ash and water makes alkali, which is used in soap
don't want to use it too much tho because it's quite acidic and can burn you, but just a pinch of ash and some water and you can wash your hands

Instead of black powder, you guys should consider air rifles… and maybe a mold for the pellets

Theres a reason why the word "Success" starts with "Succ", you have to get over the part where you suck at a new skill before you can be good at it. Grid down is not the time to find out how much you suck.

Every road will be blocked after a day including back roads. Even if we’re not talking about intentional blockages, thousands of people freaking out, driving? Just the amount of accidents with no tow trucks coming. Roads just wouldn’t be an option.

I truly appreciate your observations and information gentlemen. I really do. That said, there’s no effective preparation for what is coming that ignores the spiritual aspect. Things are about to get genuinely bad, things that won’t be solved with ballistics and bullets. Read the Biblical books of Revelation and Daniel and Ezekiel. Many bad things are about to happen. Preparation is wise but nobody’s got any better crystal ball than what the Bible predicts. It’s going to be a battle for the human spirit. It already is. Get right with Jesus! That’s the best prep there is! Edit: For the record, I garden, can food, try to learn new things about power generation, better my mechanical skills. I’m a believer in that too but I’m a Believer in Spiritual matters too. When feces take wing, people need God and people that can teach them about God. That’s my job. Study everything but especially study the Bible!

What about medical emergencies? there is no rescue helicopter from ALONE to take you to the nearest emergency room. Also my cousins in TAIWAN are preparing for a possible Communist Chinese invasion. How do you prepare for a barrage of cruise missile attacks? apparently you use an APP to find the nearest bomb shelters and drill BEFORE the real attack and hopefully it will never happen.
