I always appreciate follow up review after a certain time with the board. I hope you get the Acedeck X3 gear drive to review 🙂

Glad you liked it! I hope so too, but I'm not super confident, they don't have a lot of review units out there.

I have 1800 miles on my Envy. Over 1200 of that is with the gear drive upgrade added. Still get decent range of 16+ depending on how hard im riding. If full throttle and racing i Get around 10 to 12 miles. My BIGGGGEST con to this board is the lower end voltage sag on the battery. Past 25% if your far from home your going to be kick pushing. I didn't know this first time I did range test and got stranded 3 miles from house. My Exway Max X1 can get me home at 25% and not come to a crawl. The Max even can propel me to like 18ish MPH at 10% when the Envy legit has nothing past 25% and dies VERY FAST.
Other then that its a fuckin sweet board! Only complaint is that low end sag!

Wow! That's a ton of miles, really impressive. I find it really hard to put a ton of miles on these thane boards with limited range. I agree, it does sag a bit at the lower SOC, I think 50S cells or similar would help with that, if they upgraded it in the future. The Exway X1 Max actually has a different kind of liion cell and is more capable of handling the discharge current at lower state of charge, albeit, with less total capacity.

*I would love it if Meepo put Hobbywing on more of their boards,* love it on my Meepo Flow, pretty much the same drive train & esc as the Envy.
    🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
Agree that a 50S cell option would be great for this with a little more range.

I agree, the Envy is super nice to ride! And I think 50s would make the range on par with the flex 2 pro, but for much cheaper. Not sure how much money they're saving on cells right now.

    Bro this is my board.
    Slaps for the package.
I put mine onto the meepo mini 3 deck, topspeed dropped from 62 to 50ish....
This board made me loose my fear, spent most of the time in full send or high brake.
Now im waiting on a ceartin something from Radium...

Nice! The Envy is definitely a good package. It's smooth and stable, and great to get into it. That something from Radium tho - wheeeeee

Maybe its just Missouri but I wonder who is buying all these boards for their to be this many companies with so many different options.....
I have seen less than 10 Electric Skateboards in my Area that are not DIY.
Also most of the Electric Skateboards I seen got created in my garage.
I just wonder how can these companies have so many different options yet I do not see any riders.
Im not sure if I need to move or what....

Yeah there's tons of people on budget boards out here. Probably just a different kind of community.

My Like 29 partner, I tell you, very good content, really, I wanted to ask you a question about this board, I have one very recently, the truth is that I am already used to it, since I have had several Meepo boards and others , but, in this one, I haven't been able to figure out how to change the braking modes?
Could you help me with this issue, for example there are 4 speed modes but I have no idea about the braking modes.
    Thank you

Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed. I haven't ever tried to mess with the brake modes either, but I'd wager that there are settings in the user manual for the remote, or on the back of the remote. You may not be able to change the braking modes on this board at all.

    Is it a flexy deck?

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  11 днів тому

Ehh yes and no - its more of a pliable deck than a flexible one. It also depends a bit on your weight. You won't have a boosted board or Flex Pro experience but it does absorb some road bumps.
