Trigger warning: contains strong language from the start, a bit of gunfire about halfway through, and some fairly graphic injury detail towards the end. And lots of British sarcasm throughout, so watch out.
A Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley from Call of Duty Modern Warfare II ASMR roleplay has been requested quite a bit, so I thought I’d give it a go. Captain Price has been requested too; but I did a ‘vintage’ Price ASMR over a year ago, which you can watch here (though the setting and theme are slightly depressing now): • Captain Price ASMR - C...
Otherwise, this Ghost roleplay is almost exactly the same as my SAS sniper roleplay I also did some time ago (lol), but is a lot more immersive. You and Ghost are on a mission to take out an old Spetsnaz sniper who’s become a troublesome diamond dealer, but it doesn’t necessarily go to plan. Cue sitcom intro music.
In terms of ASMR triggers, there are binaural bullets, ear to ear dry humour, and - tbf - a tsundere theme with Ghost in the role of oranyan, as he warms to you over the course of the mission and patches himself up before helping you too (how kind). Oh, and he talks about mirrors more than I thought he would, but here we are. Enjoy! 👻💀

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

I don't think that I would make a good sniper partner for Ghost at all. I'd have a hard time trying to contain myself. I'd be giggling, spraying, choking, shaking, rocking and falling about the hideout.
Ghost, as decent and polite as he is.....would likely just raise me above his head and hurl me in front of the enemy sniper...with me screaming but still howling with laughter.
I'm afraid this one is a failure as an asmr vid Jim as it is far too watchable, listenable and guffawable for sleepytime soothing.

I'd just storm off, with my ' lack of army skill ' set, really early on in the show. The army would be grateful that I'd demonstrated I was an immediate fail from the jump.
I'll be a sneaky warrior of the homeland hearth if needed. That way if I feel like wandering off for a chat and laugh at any chance point I can. I actually think that snipers might crave the freedom they have as solo contenders as well....even if they have to go through all that induction ratfuckery first.
My dad was in the military (no war experience as luckily Vietnam ended the day before he was about to fly out of Australia) and I lived my whole life on bases until 21 yrs old.
I grew up watching all the standover tactics of higher ups....AND all of the endless cadets marching and training in the back roads behind the married quarters blocks. Some, at times, turned up to parade with just a hat and rifle but that just made the bosses cross and they got booted into the Lock Up.
You have to be serious UNARMY like to get to walk away with a " Thank you and good luck to you." I never applied for that career. I became a pre primary teacher and have had the best times teaching the new generations to respect themselves, others and the natural environment. The littlies at that crucial development stage between 4, 5 and 6 years are the best human beings and hit that hearty giggle button consistantly.
