I was a kid when this was on telly. I loved Danger Island best of all but that was never re-shown after the first time around. As for the Banana Splits themselves, I was always a Drooper fan. Who knew how that would prove prophetic given my adult alcohol consumption.
Indeed! They even tried to put cartoons on at night??? ( flint stones , Johnny quest , batman ) Prime time shows about Genies Clumsy secret agents 7 people stuck on an island Twilight zone Gumby F troop Cartoon about a racing car that can jump and climb a mountain Monkees A show about a teenager stuck in a land where hats can walk and talk A show about talking dragon and a talking flute Munsters Addams family And a ton of cop shows
Jeff Bergman is a perfect choice for Fleegle! His Fleegle sounds very identical to Paul Winchell. Bill Farmer’s voice of Fleegle is okay, but I would prefer Jeff to be the one to succeed Paul. Maybe Jim Cummings would be an interesting choice.
Allen MacCannell I watched this all the time in the early 2000's. I thought that's when it was made before everyone was saying it was from the 1970's. It actually came on a lot.
Oh my godddd i missed this show so much, gosh im such an old child, but i really loved this show back when i was younger. The banana splits, was my drug as a kid. To me they were halarious and a great time killer, and to today they still hold that place in within me
Huh, if this freaks them out, they won't have any hope of growing up in a world full of "gender-fluids" dressed like every day is a gay pride mardi gras, and/or women hiding under big black hefty bags, walkin' around like bedsheet ghosts ...
Man, what were they on?? A strict diet of magic mushrooms. Hahaha! I loved the banana splits!! Grew up watching them in the 70s. I thought they were hilarious!
Better than HR Pufnstuf. I remember watching some movie of it in the 90s, when my kids were little. OMG, I then felt bad for making fun of their Power Rangers.
When I was a child in MANAUS -AM I remenber this program. I feel now NOSTALGIA just now!.In this time in Brazil propagandas pay the films, programs. JOIA
P: It's Amaan! It's Sisu! S: Whoa! *Bumps Into Amaan* A: Why you big mythical lizard! S: Whoa! P: It's Namaari! N: Come on, guys! Get along! P: It's Mae! M: Whoa! P: They're the Kumandrans! And today is a special day! It's Mae's Birthday! N: Happy Birthday! *Cupcake Explodes* A: Happy Birthday, Mae. And now it's time for your present. N&S: *Drags Mae's Present* M: Oh boy. Ah-ha, yow. A: Oh, let's see here. N: I uh... S: Uh... N: We have no idea! But we figured you'd love it. S: Yep. A: Well, let's go! The last one who's in there, is a sour banana boy! S,N,A,&M:*All Clamoring* S: Ow, that's my foot! Oh, now the tail! M: Hey, this machine comes with a Gacha life remote. What does it do? N: Cool. A: I've never been in a place so beautiful before. S:And peaceful. M: Wow. Sure is pretty. N: Oh, oh! I almost forgot. Hey Mae, try that remote out! M: OK. Oh ah... *Drops The Remote* S,N,A,&M: *All Clamoring again* S: Ow! That's my foot again! Ow, not again with the tail! N: It's mine! M: You mean MINE! I'll give it a try. Sequence eng- *Screams* So, Gacha life machine, huh? This place doesn't look Gacha life at all. *Bonks Head* Ow! Well I'll see where this "Magic Machine" took me. *Grunts* Wow.
This was a real show?! I did a lot of acid in those days and simply attributed all memories of this to, well...other sources. Great to learn fun facts about one's earlier life. Thanks.
Before you slate today's youngsters for being stupid as the result of watching odd tv programmes - this is what we grew up on!!! Superb - let's have more of it!
Face it - the only reason any of us watched this as kids is that we all had a crush on Leslie Hayden (Ronne Troup) when Danger Island came on during the Splits hour.
Kids: WHAT HAPPENED! :(
*some* *time* *later*
they became killer animatronics
TheAdvanced that trailer was something
How the freak do I keep finding you everywhere
That trailer hit different
Kids: I love this show
Warner bros: Not for long
Some guy protesting against Syfy's Faux Nights @ Faker's Movie: You can't just keep ruining my childhood like that, man! I got my rights, man!
They're coming back as a horror film
who's here after the annoucement of the movie
Yup
Yup
Meh
I came here to forget
Yuuuup
i loved this when i was a kid every saturday morning, i think it was on about 10, but it was a classic kids programme. great stuff.
Kids: I love this show
Warner bros: *HOLD MY MOVIES*
Banana split producers: this is for children entertainment only
WB: am i a joke to you?
Yeah, it kinda bothers me that anyone would make this into a shlocky horror movie. And that's what it is despite coming from WB: A shlocky money grab.
20/09/15 - Yeah for Bingo, Happy Birthday
6th, 7th, and into 8th grade. Loved the Banana Splits. Me and my buddies had lots of laughs over this show. Great memories!

I was a kid when this was on telly. I loved Danger Island best of all but that was never re-shown after the first time around.
As for the Banana Splits themselves, I was always a Drooper fan. Who knew how that would prove prophetic given my adult alcohol consumption.

You can tell everyone in the 60's and 70's were high, just look at the programs lol.

I am suprised that the hats of The Banana Splits never changed over the years.
Yup!
Enjoy this kids because they'll be starring in there own horror movie soon.
Creators: THIS IS FOR CHILDREN AND HAPPY
Warner brothers: nope
Jeff Bergman is a perfect choice for Fleegle! His Fleegle sounds very identical to Paul Winchell.
Bill Farmer’s voice of Fleegle is okay, but I would prefer Jeff to be the one to succeed Paul. Maybe Jim Cummings would be an interesting choice.
Apparently Keith Scott did the voices for a web series.
Happy Birthday , Bingo....... what is a magic machine?
Snorky needs a hair cut really bad.
And now there’s a horror movie😂
Fleegle is dead inside
And Snork is again in his 1968's fursuit
I was raised on this? No wonder I'm a basket case. ; )
Its a good memory but its disturbing to see now
Allen MacCannell I watched this all the time in the early 2000's. I thought that's when it was made before everyone was saying it was from the 1970's. It actually came on a lot.
CringyGamerKid i watched this in 2013
Allen MacCannell
That's what I was thinking. I remember this from when I was a preschooler. Holy crap.
I've had a distant memory of this from my very early childhood and couldn't find it but wasn't actively looking I'm so glad I finally found it
If they released the entire series of this on DVD, I'd buy it.
This is one of Cartoon Network‘s old web Premiere toons.
I wonder what year was this particular one made, I’m guessing 2001.
oh, I recently discocerd that it was made in 1999.
So when they came back they became murders
Thing is, I can remember as a kid, I thought they were REAL? loved em!
Happy Birthday Bingo your great banana split :-)

Oh my godddd i missed this show so much, gosh im such an old child, but i really loved this show back when i was younger. The banana splits, was my drug as a kid. To me they were halarious and a great time killer, and to today they still hold that place in within me
Can't believe that used to be my favorite show!
I must have been easily entertained! LOL
7million views and only 2 comments? Let’s fix that
Warner Bros. studio: how about we make a horror movie film starring Hanna-Barbera characters.
Kids:Y
I think I had this show on VHS when I was little... Watching it was kind of like being on acid. Good times good times.
0:10 WTF is that thing?!?!
1968: okay that’s a fun show.
2019: who the fuck are these fnaf animatronic ripoffs!!!
This is a great Hanna-Barbara/Sid & Marty Kroff production!
It's kind of ironic I got this video in my recommended after I was watching people discuss the Banana Splits upcoming horror movie.
Fantastic, The Splits live on and one of the first on UA-cam. Thanks!!
0:11 return of the mop
This would freak today's kids out.
Huh, if this freaks them out, they won't have any hope of growing up in a world full of "gender-fluids" dressed like every day is a gay pride mardi gras, and/or women hiding under big black hefty bags, walkin' around like bedsheet ghosts ...
Have you heard about their new movie?...
This clip felt awkwardly more weird than the show usually feels!
Man, what were they on?? A strict diet of magic mushrooms. Hahaha! I loved the banana splits!! Grew up watching them in the 70s. I thought they were hilarious!
I have ceased to wonder what goes on in mcr's heads. It would make my brain explode. But I still love them dearly.
muy buenos recuerdos extrano esa epoca
Omg...I'm embarrassed that I watched this as a child... And liked it.
Better than HR Pufnstuf. I remember watching some movie of it in the 90s, when my kids were little. OMG, I then felt bad for making fun of their Power Rangers.
LOL! Yeah between this and Lidsville and H. R. Pufnstuf, Saturday morning was pretty trippy for a few years.
LOL was my absolute favorite show as a kid!! Thanks for posting!
I have 2 questions:
Why Snork is again a mop and why does fleegle look like if he smoked a thousand cigarretes?
Dang- this is what they look after what happened with the movie ...
LMAO - wot a crackup!! Used to watch this on the old black n white back in the early 70's!! So good in colour!!
When I was a child in MANAUS -AM I remenber this program.

This was a real show?! I did a lot of acid in those days and simply attributed all memories of this to, well...other sources. Great to learn fun facts about one's earlier life. Thanks.

"this machine comes with a magical remote" - now known as a Remoken Troll! :-D
I loved this show cos it was on a different plane of thought from other TV shows then. Even as a kid I knew that!
that red dog’s face is just nightmare fuel
One here :) Was a favorite in Ethiopia, the jingle was awesome!
This is creepiness made flesh right here. I can't imagine what seeing this at the age of 8 would've done to me.
Drooper has always been taller than all the splits
Drooper is my favorite anyway
Comments back in 2006:OMG what happened to these guys
Comments now:my childhood is ruins!!!
I was a member of the Banana Splits Fan Club as a kid. LOL
Before you slate today's youngsters for being stupid as the result of watching odd tv programmes - this is what we grew up on!!! Superb - let's have more of it!
This is why we didn't need drugs back then. We had the psychedelic Banana Splits.
This shyt makes me laugh every time... LOL *tears* hahaa
They feel like a fever dream
I was a member of the Banana Splits fan club back in the day.
Snorky look so weird he doesn’t even look like an elephant but I feel bad for the people like their childhood because they made one of evil
PROPER TRIPPY!!
I grew up watching this,
...NO WONDER I ENDED UP OFF MY HEAD!!!! LOL!
60's and 70's stuff love it.
Sid and Marty were influenced and inspired by pufnstuf and I was a 7 year old on a sweet cereal-induced high every Saturday morning.
Priceless.
Holy crap. I used to love this show when I was a kid. No wonder I'm screwed up!
I just wonder, however much I love it and wish I still had a video recorder, what were the producers high on when they thought up this show! LOL!
WTF?!
I don't think i'd dare watch this while on psychedelics. Haha
Just heard the theme tune in a cafe, had some funny looks singing along - couldn't help it!! Maybe a fifty year old jigging like a toddler did it....
wooh its way freakier than I remembered...one banana two banana three banana four, four b's make a split & so do many more...my god
Face it - the only reason any of us watched this as kids is that we all had a crush on Leslie Hayden (Ronne Troup) when Danger Island came on during the Splits hour.
I used to watch this in the early cartoon network days.....The pirate show was my favorite.
