Amazing area! I was fortunate enough to live in Thermopolis for a couple months due to work a couple years ago. It's probably the best fishing I've ever encountered in the lower 48. I actually caught my personal best brown trout right on the downstream side of the upper wind river campground!
Hello, very nice and honest video with all the fine fishing and unlucky mistakes 👍👍👍 Are you really casting sometimes with your lebt hand and most with your right ? Or is this an effect with a selfy camera like with a smartphone ? Tight lines from germany, Markus
Great video and, as always, great content. That being said, I've been fly fishing for over 50 years. If I paid good money to a guide like that George character, and he talked to me like he talked to those clients, I'd fire him. Look, maybe I'm odd, but the only reason I've ever hired a guide is to get me to a place I'm not familiar with and show me the way out. I fish for the QUIET and solitude. I don't even care if I catch anything. The reward of fishing is to figure it out (or not) by yourself. Hard to believe one would pay for that kind of constant yammering from a guide.
regurgitating old content that wasn't very good the first time I watched these episodes. What exactly do you consider the Wind River Range for fishing? Certainly not east of Pinedale as that would be the Wyoming Range. Too far north and the Shoshone or Absaroka ranges. Everyone knows the NFF doesn't waddle more than a couple hundred yards from a car or truck. Deep in the Wyoming wilderness my butt.
Dude the wind river canyon is probably the best fishing in Wyoming btw the wind river comes out of the wind river mountain range and then through the bighorns into fort smith Montana
You sir are a d-head. The Wyoming Range is south and west of Pinedale, there is no Shoshone Range (Shoshone Natl Forest covers a lot of the Wind River Range) and The upper Wind River drains the south east edge of the Absarokas. What a crass comment.
Beautiful spot and great fishing, awesome video!

No worries on the delay bro appreciate all the amazing content!
Just shows you that small fish are a blast. Casting in tight quarters is fun and skill challenging.
cant wait to get out west this summer

Hi allendks45. Thanks for your feedback. Appreciate it. I hope your day gets better soon!
@allendks45 The Wyoming Range is west of Pinedale. Also, Shoshone Range?
