Geno saying goodbye hit harder then the original!
The developers knew how much the fans loved Geno and they were holding nothing back with the music, animation and feeling we got at the ending.

I don’t know how but we NEED more Mallow and Geno… whether its a sequel, spinoff, whatever, I don’t care… loved both characters
I made my idea for an action-oriented platformer where Geno is the protagonist. It's on Fantendo.
Props to the composer of this game for adding special effects to this soundtrack.
What special effects? The difference is that now they are recorded with real instruments, not like before due to hardware limitations.
HUGE missed opportunity to include an hd Luigi at the end😢
Fr they just used the same credit animation from the original. It's charming but come on, you couldn't give our boy a 3d model?!

Okay, why did they ending make me sad and want to cry? It didn't have to go THAT HARD!

Even the end credits make me cry it's the evolution of the game ands it beautiful even if the first half is 16 bit I love it the sense if nostalgia

The ending had me in tears. Everybody celebrating about the giant rainbow star after when it was formed again. The reason why i love Super Mario cause of its storylines and maybe even its endings, it got me emotional and maybe interesed.
I also love starry nights and stars. ⭐🌠

That's attention to detail, the yellow star goes straight up when the star road is broken and right before Exor crash flash happens it touches Neo squid aka Exor. Basically saying that from the beginning Smithy had the yellow star.

In the original version when the stars scatter the yellow one falls straight down so observant players know it's at least in Bowser's Castle, so it's not like it's a new detail.
Was hyped to hear mallow's voice, but of course their is no voices in cutscenes, still a great game! 😊
It sucks how Bowser and the Yoshis are the only characters to get any concrete form of voice acting. Everyone else is completely silent.

@@marcus5528 They would've probably gotten Kevin Afghani to do it given how the original didn't have voice acting at all. Even if they decided to use Charles' voice, it'd likely only consist of archived clips and not new lines.
@@mariobroultimate1808 true, i thought sense the game was made before Kevin started voicing Mario, then Charles would’ve voiced Mario in the remake. Anyways what do you think about Kevin Afghani's voice as Mario?
@@marcus5528 I think it's good. Sure, it's not perfect, but the voice actor is just starting his career. I believe he'll get better and better overtime.

But I found it funny and also cute, now with high resolution and modern graphics.

They changed Geno's scenes, I love how in the original he circles the doll to enter its body and how at the end the 7 stars drop down and pull the star spirit out of Geno. Still, an incredible adaption though.

This game that remake is based on is about as old as me. I'm getting fixated on this game again. I never owned the game or port of it, but I had fond memories of this game.

Imagine if there could be character voices in this RPG.
In a similar fashion as with Marvel vs. Capcom 3, characters created by Square-Enix (e.g. Geno and Mallow) have multilingual voice options that can be toggled per character, while all of ones created by Nintendo (e.g. Mario, Peach and Bowser) are voiced exclusively in either English or language-neutral. According to the developers, this was done due to various budget concerns.
Most of the game voice cast, both English and Japanese, have been recast with newer voice actors or are portrayed by their voice actors from newer titles and adaptations, though a few characters retain their old voice actors.

because it wasn't in the original game, although it appeared in the game manual and guided you by making comments. I would have liked him to appear at least as an npc.
