My Dad is in these videos as a spectator especially during The White's show. Soo cool to see my 23 year old Dad there. I wasn't even born yet. He's in the red turtleneck at 41 mins even. Made my day! He hasn't changed much.

Cool to see Del McCoury at this point in his career. Still earning most of his money working day jobs then. 1975 was about the last year I attended shows on the regular with my Bluegrass loving parents. Took a break when I was a teen. Took me about 25 years to wise up 🙂and start attending shows with them again.

Spent a lot of time there and at the old Spare Room In Somerset. Also the M&M Hall down Englishtown Road. Thanks for the memory. John Hartford was great there as well as Earl & Lester..

I use to frequent those Geoff Burnes events. He had a Staten Island event with Lester Flatt and Marty Stuart when he was a kid! Good Video Clark Santee

Wow. I remember when this was happening. I live ten minutes away from Englishtown. The building is still there. Sadly, it’s silent. But it’s full of happy ghosts.

Great video! Where you also involved with the "Big Bluegrass Jam" cable tv shows from Geoff Berne? I always wondered where they ended up.

I was aware Geoff had some other TV activities, but Bluegeass at the Englishtown Music Halll was the only one I worked on. It was a good.experience and Geoff was a good guy. I was sorry when I heard he is not longer with us.

I associate Rickey as being there because the young phenom was scheduled. I recall now it was disappointing when told at the last minute he could not make it. After nearly 60 years I had it stuck in my craw that he did.
Years later I directed Skaggs TV series from the Ryman. Send me your email address and I will send you a list of the show’s we did. If one of these strikes your fancy, I will make this up to you by sending a copy of it on DVD.

Can you play Blu-Ray CDs? I can cram a bunch of Rickey’s 1997 shows on a couple of them for you. I am just glad you are a fan.
Tell me if you can play Blu-Rays and send me your address.

@Clark Santee Video Productions Makes sense since Skaggs married one of Buck White's daughters and they played here.
