Hot take: I think the power of friendship in a story is totally valid and very effective if it's done right. If you really boil life down friendship and connections with other people are everything. The whole reason we want to achieve purpose in life would be absent without others to find that purpose through and share your purpose with. It makes all the sense in the world to me to have power of friendship stuff especially in a game like Persona where connections with others quite literally make you stronger. They keep that up even through the most recent titles, so it's definitely a running theme (I personally like how P3 does this the most though). And yee the original released in 2006
I think an important distinction is that if a story has well established a connection between the power system and emotional/spiritual aspects than the power of friendship works.

In greek mythology Nyx is known as the primordial goddess of the night, she was born from chaos itself and is the mother of Thanatos (a persona you unlocked a fusion for) as well as hypnos (Takaya's persona in this game). In one story relating to her one of Nyx's maany children basically pissed off Zeus (the king of the gods of Olympus) and he chased them all the way to Nyx's home Tartarus (the same name as the tower in game), and Zeus absolutely refused to enter the place. It was heavily implied (at least to me) that Zeus feared Nyx to some extent, whether it was raw power or authority was not really mentioned. Still kinda baffling that Zeus the "King of Gods" himself was afraid of someone, and that someeone was Nyx.
The end is near brus and bruettes. Persona 3 reload is like a good stew, goes low and slow till a flavourful end. The cooking done here ummmmmm. Enjoy le cuisine
Junpei and Yukari are the best characters in this game and that's something to say considering how good almost every character in the main party is. Plus Zeno's (Junpei's VA) voice acting was sooo good in the argument scene. Awesome content as always dude🔥

I REALLY love the Linked Episode we had with Junpei here. He didn’t feel like the apology back when he first snapped at us was a proper resolution, so he invited us out to apologize more properly. And then Junpei went and said one of the MOST thoughtful things he’s ever said in the game, despite the fact that our decision could make him completely forget about Chidori and everything he has learned up til this point, he selflessly tells us to do what he thinks is right. Junpei really has gone through MASSIVE character development through the game, going from the person trying to play hero, has been very jealous about Makoto and didn’t have much to live for has transformed into the total opposite. Also Blaze of Life is no question, THE BEST Theurgy in the game thematically and it really shows how much Junpei has grown. And it's ESPECIALLY shown when comparing his two Theurgys, with Hack n' Blast Junpei was more cocky and clumsy as his own Persona overshadows him completely, but with Blaze of Life, he works with Trismegistus in perfect unison. And of course, Chidori's silhouette after the Junpei finishes the attack, healing him. And a fun little fact! You may or may not know that you can check the exam results of your friends, and some scores may change overtime. However, the MOST prominent change here is Junpei. Throughout the game Junpei's results would always come out as "Junpei's score is quite low." which is not really surprising. However, after that incident, once the finals scores are revealed it says "Junpei's score is average." which is a MASSIVE improvement for him, showing that Junpei is taking his life more seriously. And I think it's very beautiful how Junpei and Chidori fixed each other for the better, even if it ended in tragedy.
Junpei had a character arc go full circle and a lot of the times he feels like the main character. There’s also small instances where you can eavesdrop on his room and hear him talking to himself, great details they added in this remake to make his character feel the most fleshed out
I finally got around to finishing up December myself. I'm surprised you didn't finish up the month in this video, but I totally understand that the choice you make will change the story.

It’s bittersweet, I love this game and I want to keep playing but I don’t wanna see it end. I do plan on releasing a bonus episode with the secret boss between now and the DLC, so there’s that! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the series, and I plan to make the finale a big one :)

I don’t plan on doing much grinding for the rest of the game. I knocked out a long session earlier this month off screen and even at the border floors, I have personas running away from me and as you can see from the video, I steamrolled most of the bosses so I’m good off the grinding for now. I do wanna fuse a nice endgame squad tho
