Check the level in your Argon Tank

    I wondered if that same method would work for my Argon welding tank, so I decided to try it out. I believe it works, but it definitely didn't work like the propane tank did. I think its because the Argon tank is a thicker metal. The temperature difference isn't as apparent. I do believe it does give you some idea of the level in your tank.

    No, Propane is liquified in the tank and therefore able to be a thermal load to the hot water. Creating a demarcation to the level of the liquid/gas. Argon is always a gas except at temperatures of -303 F and below.

    Uhhhh, there is no liquid in an argon tank so there wouldn't be a temp difference. It would be like pouring the water over an air compressor.

      yeah xraid is right but you can get an idea by knowing 0 psi is empty and full in warm weather 2500psi maybe give or take. His compressor is probably 1/4 full of condensate though

    You should proably take this down. This method wont work, argon is always gaseous in a bottle.
