Now that you said that I can say the same 🤣
for real hes on some comedian buddha shit
For real, dude is so slow. He can barely make a complete sentence without it being interrupted by a “like”. It’s mf annoying 😂🤣
Like High?
Na like low! Cause his attitude is so chill
I want to be on Ralph’s level of nonchalance.

Be confident
“Ralph the worlds ending!”
Ralph: “Eh whatever.” 😂

It comes with life experience, once you’ve seen enough and been through enough, most things don’t surprise you whatsoever

The whole episode consists of insisting and possibilities
Dude is so chill I feel like they’re grasping for something but he’s like whatever about it 😂
conversation on the topic should've been like 5 minutes tops, but they kept playing devil's advocate for George when Ralph clearly doesn't give a shit about the topic
He talks and acts like all the guys i grew up with in Mexican Town in Detroit MI. Listening to him is like listening to my cousins talk lol
Na, theyre trying to keep the conversation going but this dude is super boring.
HE's chill cuz he smokes a lot of weed .. hes probably high during this interview
Yea they can’t get him excited about shit lol
I like Ralph, he doesn’t feel the need to please any other comedians and join their cliques. He just wants to do his own thing
Andrew hit the nail on the head. You can’t necessarily look at the legends or goats 20-30 years later and feel how you would’ve felt when that shit was new. That goes for fighters, musicians, comedians etc.

I agree with Ralph. When you're an artist and minority, people compare you to others by race SO MUCH
I mean yeah that makes sense. It’s been true like since forever.
George is hilarious, but Ralph is good too. They have different styles and are from different times. They explained it best with " Mexican Comedian and a Comedian that's Mexican"
Exactly.. George's jokes are based off being Latino. Explaining why we are "Different People ". Ralph is just hilarious and happens to be Latino.
Maybe he didn't grow up admiring G-Lo. G-lo grew up admiring Richard Pryor.
"hilarious"?! Let's settle down just a little bit. George Lopez is funny to like Nacho Libre dads and Mexican women...
IDK bro.. I just saw another part of this podcast. Looks like Ralph grew up rich. He doesn't know the Latino struggle so he doesn't get the jokes. Makes sense to me.. he doesn't know about blacking the forks or butter on a Tortilla. Two Latino comedians that cannot relate.
@@bowlacheezballz You would never understand unless you grew up in the culture.
@@bowlacheezballz ur white..
Ralph tells his jokes and if you know you know. He doesn’t have to say he’s Mexican. You just relate because you are Mexican as well or you just think it’s funny because he’s hilarious.
Yeah I rather have the other insane style of comedy. Not gonna pay to hear shit/jokes I can hear for free by talking to my latino moms side of the family, or friends for that matter. I mean that’s what barbosa comedy mostly consists of… oh I hang out with my friends and he told me this crazy story about this one lady, or man i experience some racist stuff the other day. Been there heard that, and tired of hearing it.
@@alexzandersonjrg862 so what you’re saying is you don’t like comedy? I say this because it’s essentially a person telling their experience or story in a funny way. Hence, comedy.

You relate because you have terrible sense of humor and love corny fools.
@Alexzanderson JRG he isn't comedy all he does is ramble on without no jokes you don't want comedy you want a live podcast.

Honestly, I had never heard of Ralph Barbosa before, but I don’t watch stand-up comedians too much. I caught a clip on Netflix and I’m watching it and this guy is genuinely funny. He has a strange, shy way of delivering his jokes, but when it hits it hits really good.
He has a V-For-Vendetta-Mask smile.

My brain was looking for it and you brought it
This young guy is a rare breed who's funny and doesn't take shit talk personal respect to him and George who apologized because I'm sure he didn't want Ralph to think just because he's successful doesn't mean he looked down on him. Neither really had to apologize and probably would get along in person 💯
i feel like ralph is gonna be this generations big dawg in the comedy arena. he’s a real one and seems to always just be himself and that always makes the best comic, one that doesn’t need a gimmick or a certain persona. wishing dude nothing but continued success

Crab syndrome
That's a pretty common saying by Mexicans, here in Mexico or in the States. It's been proven to be right by generations. And it has to be with the way our ancestors were conquered by the Spanish, they raped the indigenous women to have kids and started dividing with race and language. So it's been going for ages
It's very true. And Mexicans from Mexico don't really like American born Hispanics. I've experience this when I was a server.

I think the thing is, these young ones don’t and won’t know the struggle it took to be at a level in which it wasn’t normal to see a Latino in American fame groups. George made a path way for these young ones to be able to walk barefoot in. I feel that this bit of fame is getting over his head. And you can see it with his reaction. To be at a level in which people would say “i wanna buy a ticket to see this Mexican comiden” wasn’t an every day thing, and George was that person. Now that everyone is more aware of the presence of Mexicans or Latinos in general in fame, they don’t see the struggle, they don’t see the hustle. Do I agree with everything George said?No but here’s an example as to why he said it.
You and 4 other niggas did not watch the video and actually listen.

As a Mexican Texan (Tejano) George Lopez does not really represent us, yeah his tv show was badass but that's all i know of him, didn't watch anything else of his, I don't really like how he tries to make "latinos" monolithic. We do things differently here. What's funny is alot of white folks that I know will quote him and I'm like WTF are you talking about. Not my tortilla but to each their own.
ralph is cool af and relatable. what about gabriel iglesias?
@J Ms idk i’m from cali but i’m black too🤷🏾♂️😂
@J Ms Cali Mexicans are more “Americanized” and Texan Mexicans are a more of true version of a Mexican. But in Mexico both Texans and Cali aren’t seen as true Mexicans
With all due respect there is huge difference between Cali Mexicans and Texas Mexicans, on top of that Mexico will never see us as "true Mexicans" either, we tend to show our conservative side (not political, our culture by default) without worrying about what the rest of the country will think, Cali tends to follow whatever is trending regardless of their culture being exploited by the wrong people just to be politically correct. What it really comes down to is how you treat others, I love fluffy he treats people awesomely and spreads love, George is just a straight up asshole that is known to shun out Texas comedians because he doesn't want to be outshined and that's probably why I subconsciously avoid his programming.
@@photologicpictures8248 I agree, Hispanic Texans show more if the Mexican heritage. In Cali, the Mexicans are ghetto and they speak Spanglish which is disgusting.

No comparison in comedy. George did he’s thing for the Mexican Chicano raza for that generation. This new comedian has his own flow and caters for todays day in time. Later down the road another Chicano comedian will come and he or she would be compared. Both are good comedians

one rule I had was growing up hispanic, looking up to someone that you want to become. You get lost in their identity" Nunca tengas un Heroe a quien admiras por que pierdes tu esencia junto con tu identidad." Is like if you admire someone you get lost and confuse with your essentials and strong points, is better to grow up not admiring so you mold yourself to become what you want and not be a copy of the "admire, looking up too".
Ralph saying “The future is now old man” could apply to all of these right here lol
