I acquired mine from storage this past week. I recently have rebuilt 6 other brands, and none of them come close in performance to this model which I just rebuilt today.
I have the same unit and it runs slightly fast (my recordings come out slow). Do you know if there is a speed adjustment option on this unit? I didn't think there was but I wasn't sure.
Nice job on the deck Patrick. Looks really nice. Did a really good job. I am curious about one thing. The lights come on when you’re in the record mode. How do you record on a pre-recorded tape? Do they sell blank eight track tape and you can record music onto it from another inputted device? I’m kind of curious about that.
