Excellent video Sir. Great overview of the Fallkniven A1.
Thanks gorilla HD, really glad you enjoyed it 👍
Well tested! Thank you. That is how you test knives.
Thanks Donald, glad you liked the video, there's 2 ways of doing thinks, "the right way" and "the best you can"
I own a fallkniven 4some, the A1,S1,F1,and the F2. I,ll stake my life on them in any outdoors pursuits.
Same here 💯👍
Finally saved up enough money to buy myself an A1 last week. It's the most expensive knife I've ever bought so far, but the build quality and toughness of this blade is second to none.
I can't wait to head out to the field with it, pair it with a saw or hatchet and it'd be an excellent combo for all-around woodworking tasks.
Last but not least, I love your reviews, they're really relaxing and a joy to watch. Keep up the amazing work Good Sir!
Thanks Springfield that's very kind of you, I hope you enjoy your new A1 knife for many years to come 👍☮
Thanks for the great video 👍
Thanks, glad you liked it. 🤘
Due to convex edge and the toughness of steel is really difficult to sharpen this blade without destroy the blade's geometry. I have found the following solution: I use a piece of sleeping pad foam material and on top of that I stick Emery paper (various grades) like that I can sharp the blade without changing the geometry. Sorry for the English but it is not my mother language. Keep on the good job.
Thanks kostas, your English is good.
It's a good knife they don't rust when it's raining.
I have a handful of high quality fixed blade knives and this one is the best, not by a mile but it is the best. 👍
When I am out in the bush here in Sweden I mostly use my A1 and a Silky saw. Very rare that I use my axe. And here in sweden we are not allowed to cut down fresh trees. But in a real survival situation I would use a medium axe if I need to cut down trees. I also have an fallkniven WM1 but that I use mostly for cutting food or some super fine carving.
Same with the gear and the fresh trees. Its probably illegal to cut down or branches off of live trees here in the UK but it's not normal to do that anyway, I spent 3 months hiking from Nord Capp Norway to near the middle of Sweden and cycled from where I finished the hike in Sweden to back home in S Wales UK. My first 2 videos are pictures of that. It was 2006 and 2007.
wow, I will check them 🙂
@@patrikiden hope you like, they are just photos and I just used them to learn how to uploaded onto UA-cam.
Nice review. I love this knife.
Thanks, really glad you liked the video.👍
Man i think i love ur videos. At least this one really nice. You could make a show on TV im sure.
Thank you, that very kind of you 💯👍
Excellent knife but very difficult to sharp. For better knife retention in the sheath I use bycicle inner rubber tube around the sheath
Thanks kostas, good idea 👍
