This is my first time hearing this song, and what I thought of broke my heart. A girl loves a boy with all her heart. But to him, she was his best friend, and nothing more. And he found another who meant the world to him. You could imagine his anger when the girl admitted the truth. She spilled out all her feelings on him, and he had no idea what to think. Was she trying to separate him from the love he had found? He refused to speak to her, until one day her mother came in tears. The girl was dying, and they were about to let her go. She wanted to see him before she left. She wanted her last memory to be with the one she loved, even if she knew that he would never really feel the same way that she did about him. He was the last man she would ever love, and all she wanted was to be with him, one last time. Edit: Reading this a year later, I realize how depressed I was if this is the kind of stuff I thought up...... I'm better now, though, I swear!

I imagine a sort of story when I listen to this song.: A woman is in love with a man who is her ex boyfriend but they are still friends and she is in love with him and he loves her deep down but his best friend told him he should try to move on and at first he doesn't listen to his best friends advice and trys his best to be with the woman again but she's afraid she isn't good enough for him and truns him down every time so he doesn't want to but he moves on and then he finds someone and they start dating the woman's sister talks to her and tells her she is good enough and she finally realises that she is good enough for him but it's to late because he's already fallen in love with another woman after dating they decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend they are all friends although the woman can't help but hate the man's girlfriend so the woman decided to try and break them up but her plan backfires and she gets caught and the man stops talking to her a few moths later the man and his girlfriend get engaged and the woman apologies for what she did and they make up and she is invited to the wedding and at the wedding instead of doing a speach she goes up on the stage and sings this song at the end tears are in her eyes and she leaves as everybody claps and she goes outside and stands on a nearby bridge and crys into the river below her. (Lol sorry it's bad story lol )

She pleads for him to pretend to love her again, but she could tell the pity in the boy’s eyes. She tries again and again. Telling him that he was the only person who ever loved her, who ever took the time to know her, who was the only person that ever mattered to her. She tries to tell him that she has no one left to run to, but him. The boy then admits that he had found someone new who meant the world to him. The girl’s heart is not shattered, but has crushed into dust right then and there. She doesn’t care about anything anymore. She tells him to spend one last night with her one more time. Treat her like she wasn’t only his friend one more time. Give her a new memory to hold onto one more time. Hold her, love her, kiss her, touch her.... one more time. She promised to change and be better next time. Although these words came out of her mouth, they were empty, because she knew she would never find someone like him ever again. She wanted their last night to be unforgettable for her and for him. The boy does as she said put of pity and guilt. In their next meeting, the girl tells him that she doesn’t need his forgiveness, but he gives it to her anyways. The boy invites her to his wedding and the boy waits for his best friend there the whole wedding, but she never shows. She couldn’t handle seeing him with another woman and she leaves for good. Always remembering their last, unforgettable night together.
