I have no problem with the suit. But that ridiculous scene is going to distract most viewers from that. Superman casually putting on his boots while the city appears to be under attack is uncharacteristic at best. It's dumb at least. Hopefully, this isn't an indication of what we can expect from Gunn's Superman reimagining. Great vid, Brother!

Do you really believe his shoulders will look like that in the final version lol, no. Even the background with the fire blasts won't be in the actual movie.

It’s baggy not because it’s been battle damaged. It’s baggy because of the material used. It’s thick like a jacket, it’s not form-fitting, well at least it doesn’t appear to be. For perspective looking at Cavill’s suit…it bunch up when he crossed his arms…but it never looked baggy. In the shoulders, chest and abdomen this top is very loose like a bikers jacket. That has nothing to do with battles. It’s how it’s made and the position he’s sitting in. If you look at the Cavill’s suit only bunched up bottom of his abs when he sat down in the ice bucket challenge, never his chest or shoulders

Superman didn’t find it on a kryptonian ship he found. The pic- Superman looks very human here. He is tired, exhausted, beaten up but like a man he is putting on his work boots and going to work! For me Superman doesn’t get more human looking than this pic and I love everything about it.
Did Superman really have two suits in All Star Superman? I don’t remember that. I don’t have the book. I tried to google it but nothing came up. Any help on what his other suit looked like in All Star Superman would be greatly appreciated

This suit is bad. That collar is bad. The way the cape goes into the shoulders is trash. The lines in it to make it look like faux armor is TRASH. The fact that the suit is loose on him looks bad too. That’s not the Jim Lee collar..the Jim Lee collar is split in the front and has red trim. This is more injustice collar. The boots are cool. But the upper body of the suit is not good. Hopefully this suit gets trashed in battle and he gets a new suit. Hopefully it looks better standing up. There’s definitely trunks…you can see them.

@@FatalJay FatalJay, I believe the pink sphere in the picture is Solaris. Gunn is inspired by All Star Superman: I believe Solaris was one of the villains in All Star Superman. Solaris has injured Superman and have blocked the yellow sun while fighting Superman; this is wear the damage on suit came from. I see a green light striking Solaris in the picture as well. Superman may be injured and weaken from the first fight. Green Lantern and others are distracting Solaris while Superman recovers. Solaris is overcoming the other heroes and weakened, Clark Kent witnesses they need his help. They need Superman. ⭐️ In this picture, a weakened Superman is putting on his boots for round 2, he beaten and injured but he is preparing suit back up to fight Solaris, who is blocking the sun, all odds are against Clark but he is the beacon of hope; he is Superman. Now in this photo Superman is preparing to give his all to save the other heroes and the world.

We saw Peacemaker. We saw other inconsequential characters costumes. Should we expect that he’ll give a boyscout an Epic suit? He’s lookin like Avengers 2012 Captain America. It just needs some more dimension (and no red undies).

I’m not feeling this suit. If they were going new 52 armor they should’ve went full armor like Flyby with segments, red trim the whole nine.
The suit is battle weared, thats why the shoulders is loose with wrinkles and dirt is on the emblem
