Yes, that body can be fixed, I've been working with Fibreglass and different composites for over 45 years now, I'm a master mold maker in the composite industry and very well known by the major automotive, boat, hot tubs spas, truck or lorry LOL etc, you need to find the right person to REALLY look at the body up in a lift for a while before anybody can say NO, like those guys came out and said right of way nah, maybe they are not good enough to take a challenge of that nature, so goos luck, I know that you are going to rebuild that car and it will look great like all the car you"ve done so far, I really enjoy your channel, by the way mate I did live in the UK for almost 2 years in West Sussex, a neighbourhood called Maiden Bower, cheers form Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, bye for now Giuliano.

I stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago and watched almost all the videos. cracy how you have developed in such a short time. super sympathetic how your family and friends are part of every rebuild. the honesty and authenticity make the videos something special. it's so much fun watching you bring the cars back to life. keep on going - hard to believe what you can see on your channel. really unique
Nice guest appearance by Mike, Dave and Tim from Dde and I like the way you don’t hype it or even mention it. I call that a humble flex.
15:33 You can hear how worried Mat is. Looking forward for a next episode!
Surely got to get the carbon guy who Freddy used over? Might not be ‘approved’ but you’ll know you’re still getting a quality repair! The fix he did on the P1 was unreal! Can’t wait to see it all come together! 🤙🏼
Didn't knew Amsterdam was a country 😁 Guess I'm from Amsterdam after all haha. All jokes aside, you can pull this one off! Good luck💪🏼
We’re all on this journey with you Matt!!
This has to be the biggest challenge yet. I wish you and the team the best of luck with the repair! 👍
Mat and Tony. I’ve got no doubt that you guys are gonna do this 👍🏻
Hey Matt wife and I love your channel love the cars you build and drive keep great work...Your dad is a great extension of your channel hats off to him for his great insight
I always admire your enthusiasm Matt. Good luck with this one.
Can’t wait to see this. Love the fact you have no fear it’s hilarious. Keep smashing it 🤛
Matt, you're either a masochist or just a mad genius. Can't wait to see how this one goes. Good luck mate.
I really appreciated that Porsche Insignia flash when discussing the pyro fuse locations being odd… those are the subtleties that make your videos better.
Shout to DDE and Mike Essa. I'm glad you were able to reach them. I have faith that you can fix this beast. Let's get it. Can't wait to see the progress.
The country we are going to… is amsterdam
I think it’s awesome you’re keeping the connection going with DDE.
You just know there's a Plan A, B and C.
This guys too smart to take a chance like that...Freddie will have a spare tub knocking about or there's another wrecked one will do as a doner. It's a biggie for sure and raises it yet another level..go Team Mat🤘
Go Team Armstrong, go! Another beast to work on. Keep up the great work
Absolutely incredible from Audi TTs in a car park to Lambos, Ferrari and now McClaren! What a journey Mat 👍🏻
Absolutely mind blowing. From luxury cars like the Bentley and Range Rover, to exotics like Ferrari, Lambos & Porsches to the ordinary S3's and BMWs and with No Degree just general knowledge and a great team behind him. Absolutely wow.
1.3m views in 1 day, you're exploding; congrats, Mat well deserved!
This is INSANE lol
iferg???????
ferg didn't expect to see you here
Ferg 😮😊
Ferg doesn’t know what he’s talking about
Why is you here bro 😭
Excited to see how this one works out!! Matt’s Dad will figure it out …
Matt's dad Is named Tony? They called him that slot this video 😂
Yes its Tony
A 720S, LFG
Can’t wait for this series, you’re gonna smash it as usual Mat! 😍
Let's go. Already very hyped for this build series. Reminds me of the dde 720gtr
Amazing 😻 Mat and the other builders good luck. Can’t wait to see the McLaren being fixed 🎉❤
@6:32 fellow Dutch people will know: this guy’s accent checks out as being a trustworthy dude.
This is true
"The country we're going to... Amsterdam!" Bro skipped geo class
from never saying mat's dads name to saying it 100 time in one episode, looking forward to this one
Go Matt's Dad !!!!!!!!
That's what I was thinking. Nice to know you Tony !!!
Whoever told you the Dutch are trustworthy dont take into account how much we like to make a good deal. Good deals don't have to be honest deals, hehe. This one looks okay though, great car, binging this right now en enjoying it!
I really feel left aside hearing and seeing several testimonies from people on profits they make from Bitcoin/Forex Investment... Can someone recommend a good expert that trade on my behalf and generate profit for me..
In real world, this is a scrap/parts car, as even if somehow repaired, no one in their right mind will pay reasonable money for it.
Thanks to the youtube magic, it does make financial sense for people like Mat. Good luck sorting this out - I’m sure it will drive just fine :)
I've been totaly addicted to your content. I really love your transparancy and your optimism.
Keep it up.
P.s. I laughed really hard when that Porsche logo blinked. Remembering the GTR rebuild 😅
Hey Matt, chances are this won't reach you. But I just wanted to say, what you've achieved in your life, is absolutely amazing and awe inspiring. Thanks for the content you produce and entertain us with!
Just a thought, for people like me who could only ever dream of even having a mk2 TT like you and han started out with and building it up into something special.... Truly is a dream! How about doing something like a "budget build competition" for your subscribers. Something like DMO Deejay has done.... It would bring so much joy to subscribers and viewers alike!
I thought Freddie was crazy... Matt is next level crazy 😂... If he pulls this one out of the bag, he cements himself as the best automotive UA-camr on the planet and no mistake 👌
This guy's dedication is honestly something else
Really exited to see how you will come around with this build... And I'm sure you'll do the impossible.
If you look at the company that made the Tub in Yorkshire, ask if they still have the mould and the Autoclave. Its then repairable. I worked for an ex Formula One company making Carbon Fibre parts, so its not a difficult repair for a person who works in the Aircraft Industry.
720s s one of my favourite cars, man.
If you somehow manage to pull this off, then hats off to you man
respect for watching dde 720 fails for lessons you don't have to learn yourself.. fyi - this hidden analog key is also common in some normal cars, it took me 30min to find 1 while locked outta a jeep i had just borrowed form a friend, and the fob battery died in home depot lot with a full trailer of plywood
I love the fact that you’ve potentially lost a bomb on this car and yet you’re still smiling. Hope you have more positive news after a big internet search Mat. 👍
Matt you been hanging around @tavarish too long 😂. Congrats on being a fellow McLaren owner!!! I can’t wait to see you bring this car back from the dead 💪🫡
Best of luck with this one Mat!!
I am no expert but my initial thoughts were you may have paid around a third of the value of an equivalent good one so you are off to a very difficult start I think. Can't wait to see the progress though and 🤞🏻
You are a brave man taking that on. I suspect your expected repair budget might just be blown already but looking forward to you returning it to the road.
Praying that this awesome piece of British engineering/ technology / design is fixable, its so easy these days to label a car as scrap....and thank goodness there are guys like Matt & team taking up the challenge; all the best of British luck getting this beauty back on the road.
What great content - I've no idea how you have the energy to keep the consistency going!!
Bro is insane he's so good at everything he does that he can't be better that's my dream car as well
