It does deserve more love...but not more than Cinema. Tenshi no Clover is literally my favorite MMJ song.

1:15 calling the world hasn’t even started yet a “happy song” killed me a bit bro it opens up with “With a cast who can use magic and monsters who are burdened with trauma, Even I know that everyone’s destined to disappear someday…” and has other iconic lines such as “There's too much noise, so much noise and it keeps getting worse” and “There's too much conflict, too much conflict and it keeps growing." They fr got emu otori saying “Hey! In the depths of Hell, a happy ending plays out” WHY ARE THEY IN HELL😭 you cannot see pinocchiop in the credits and just assume everything’s gonna be fine
tbh I also was confused by that comment and idk how familiar oomf was with the lyrics when they wrote that. but as much as i like that song and defend the sekai cover of it to an extent, it does feel more hollow than the vocaloid version for some reason. i think a huge appeal of the song for me is that it talks about all these serious things but the main message of the song is ultimately optimistic and about the power to create something happy and wonderful even in a broken world. and bc of that i wish the song, the chorus especially, had more of a happy, boisterous "punch" to it in spite of the lyrics. plus i like the key of the vocaloid version a lot better so there's that.
ultimately i have my problems w the cover but i think the song slaps so hard that it can carry a less-than-perfect cover. same with Lower and 88 Stars.
i like pinnochioP. i listened to sekai wa mada before knowing it was a sekai comm song. i do know how he plays with depressing themes. but to me, the cover is disappointing bc it doesnt give off the "BUT ANYWAY WE WILL BE OPTIMISTIC" part esp at the chorus but thats just my opinion o7 wott explained it better than i did lmao

@𝒌𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒂 ? Just listened to it(I don’t play the game so haven’t heard the individual covers, just the sekai and vocaloid versions of things) it’s good but I wish she put more into it. Kanade in general often comes off more subdued than necessary imo, even in a song that tends to benefit from it like saisei. She was better than the sekai version but still I wish she did a touch more. I’ll listen to it more though thanks for the recommendation!

This is a sad moment for all WXS fans. But it must be said. There are WAY better songs they could have done, for some reason they either get super high pitched or they just : 🧍♂️and it is hit or miss. I do NOT appreciate the slander on Kanadetomosura though, that song is a “lie on the floor and cry at 3 am” certified hood classic
And also with Saisei, the melody is just so beautiful, calm and nostalgic but it's ranked #43
When I first heard it I was like "Okay, not very 25-like but decent". A few days later: "WHY DOES IT HURT AND WHY CANT I STOP LISTENING TO IT!!?!?"

@@pinkfakecheez I had to take it with salt because some of the comments were just odd to me, like people talked about tuning and things when I’ve seen MUCH worse, like the retuning of Lost Ones Weeping and Jishomushoku. I didn’t like that it went into a different key a LOT of times, it just felt off from the original

I'DSMILE more if not for the ranking being based off the Sekai covers (reasonably, but a lot of covers are done dirty and Lower their ranking).

vivid bad squad stays winning as always. if i had to give a 11 to one song it would be rad dogs man i straight-up ascend to heaven everytime i hear classical/traditional instruments used in a typically modern-sounding song. that shit is like a full course meal for my ears.

no bc you know whats wild? everyone left their comments going through the songs in order of release date and didnt know the final ranking until the video premiered. those two comments just happened to line up PERFECTLY one after another. (reeces comment for Hare wo Matsu was "just doubled down on the therapist comment" but that one didnt line up)
same with GonGon's comments on Wah Wah World & Ready Steady. some things just happen to work out beautifully!

The songs are fantastic but sometimes it’s just not hitting the right areas of the ear, ESPECIALLY on Nijjiro stories, I always have to turn it down because the SFX bother my ears.
WxS World hasn't even started yet has some weak moments, the Miku ver is so much better imo (and was is my fav unit)

I’m of the opinion that Becoming Potatoes is overrated af, mainly because it’s honestly super overwhelming on the ears at the chorus (I’d probably like it more if there were duets or solos for the song). World Hasn’t Even Started Yet is quite mediocre in comparison to almost every other song, and while I don’t outright hate it, I do agree with the majority opinion that the Miku version is better. Out of the three, I actually think Nijiiro Stories is the best because of Nene and Rui’s amazing vocal performance and Meiko somehow not sounding completely terrible (Kaito sounds pretty good). But compared to later commissions, and even a lot of the other groups’ early commissions like Stella, Jackpot Sad Girl, and More! Jump! More!, they just don’t really hold up.
Something missing from from tokyo is it's short as hell. The project sekai concert version is longer and bang so much more.

I dont like the Sekai version of lower. Its not bad but my heart and soul resides with the flower original. Its so so so good. Probably my favorite vocaloid song of all time. Y‘all know whats up
EXACTLY one of the reasons i don't really like the sekai version is because the mixing is kinda bad...and also because the chorus' vocals felt so lackluster. Anyway Flower clears
