We Unbox and give the Losi Mini LMT a speed run and a maiden bash in the garage. The Losi mini LMT is a proper scaled down version of the original 1/10 Losi LMT scaled down given it a proper scale 1/18 solid axle monster truck. Losi killed it in the looks department and in our opinion good performance right out of the box.

It’s a great little mini monster truck but it is on the pricey side
Be careful when jumping that thing too. I found out the hard way how fragile those headlights are! I was doing small jumps in my garage just like you with my mini Sonuva. Landed on the front grill after a backflip on the concrete and the right headlight lens broke off! Totally my fault. But I was really bummed how easily it broke. My hobbytown guy thankfully swapped out the body for me on a new one with the headlight assembly so I didn’t have to wait until new headlight kits were available. Now I’m almost too cautious when I drive it. No more backflips. Just a small 6” cardboard ramp onto foam pads in my basement 🤷🏻♂️😂😂
Those things happen so far mine is holding up 👊🏻
Bro I also broke my headlight 😅well the body cracked around it. Really cool your hobby shop did that for you.

Just subscribed! I've been really looking into getting into this hobby and was thinking about getting either this or the the bigger lmt. Is the mini worthing getting as a starting point?
As a starting point I would say no cause it’s limited to how capable it is due to its size but is is a ton of fun

@@ryandavis6864 so depends what style of rc you are looking for do you want a scale solid axle monster truck or any 4wd 1/10 monster truck will be fine
@@Joercgarage I really like the way the solid axle monster trucks look (at least from the videos I've seen) and I like how it's more of a niche market
@@ryandavis6864 then I think maybe the way to go will be the mini lmt but trust me when I tell u you will want the bigger lmt soon after the rc addiction is real honestly u can’t go wrong with any of them

Change the tab on the esc it will show you in the Manual and will automatically have insta reverse and it will wheelie

Just a tick under 300 dollars no way, no, nope...
It is pricey no doubt but I will say it is well built and a total blast to drive I will doing a a comparison between this and the grom in my next video maybe the grom is more with in your budget ?
When these first hit UA-cam awhile back I thought the same thing, $269, hell no! With 1/18 scale comparables like the Arrma Grom and traxxas Teton at $129? But, I watched a lot of videos and did my homework. I broke down and bought the blue one (Sonuva) when they finally hit my LHS recently. And let me tell you this truck is awesome. Do I still think $269 is steep, well, yea. 😂 But, I don’t regret buying it. What you can’t tell in a video is to really get a feel for the quality. You have to hold it and experience it in person to understand how well it’s made. I drive mine with my Grom in my basement constantly and have a little cardboard ramp set up. This thing is a ton of fun and really durable and well made.
@@BobPavlow 100 percent agreed it is well made a total blast to drive and really does feel like a scaled down lmt the grom is also just a fun little basher honestly they are both great and totally different from each other both are worth owning
Going to get one just going to wait and it get it half price used from marketplace I HOPE. Just got a Losi PromotoX mint for 350.00 no charger but two batteries. Two years ago got my Los Mini T2.0 $75.00 burshless two Lipo's two bodies. Ok I a cheep skate.
