Another thing I love about FNAF 1 Bonnie is when someone pointed out that he's floating on a poster, Scott Cawthon said "Bonnie does not abide by the rules of time, space, or physics"
I have always loved Funtime Freddy. I went to meet Kellen Goff (his voice actor) a few weeks ago and i asked him what his inspiriation for his voice was and i think he summerized the character amazingly. He said, "I thought of a voice kids would love but parents would be scared of."
In a Game Theory livestream he also said, he was inspired by the medic from TF2 and even sent in a take with a german accent (which sounds great lmao just search for german funtime freddy) I love kellen in everything he does he is so good lmao
Makes sense, all kids would see is a friendly face, but the adults would see..uh..something else I guess lol. I like his idea. The kids have no clue what the parents are thinking and the parents are just like: “Yeah I’m fine, let’s just um..see Funtime foxy? You like Funtime foxy right?”
My favorite is Mangle because according to the lore, Mangle was a broken foxy animatronic, but instead of throwing it out, the restaurant kept it and hastily repurposed it as Mangle. I always found that really funny because it implies that the restaurant is so low budget and/or irresponsible that they’d rather let kids play with broken machinery rather than fix or replace it. Edit: I just started looking at the replies to this after two months and oh my god, I did not expect this much arguing. It appears the Mangle fandom is not as harmonious as I thought.
Well they did fix Mangle multiple times, but the kids would always break her even worse than the last time. To the point that the workers refused to fix her again, and then they simply messed with the design so she would be a relatively safe pull apart attraction
Personally, I find withered chica from FNAF 2 is such an underrated character design. When you see her on the cameras, it’s just so eerie and creepy. The way her eyes just continuously stare, popping out of their sockets is so unnerving. The scarecrow sort of stance with her arms partially ripped off is such a unique pose, unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. And her jaw is just, *uehchgh.*
I've always been strangely fascinated by withered Chica not only does her design make her look like she's seen better days. But her connection to TOYSHK has always been interesting to me.
Honestly, I really love Mangle, the idea that they were a full animatronic originally that got torn apart by kids is so cruel yet interesting, their radio static of a voice because their voice box is damaged, their second head that could be anything, the way they hang from the ceiling of all places before attacking you, it’s very fascinating to see, especially in Fnaf help wanted where you get to see them actively crawling on the ceiling. Overall a great character
I agree, Mangle is my favorite too. While other animatronics at least appear a little more human by walking on two feet, Mangle just crawls everywhere like a beast. And their damaged body makes you think that this is some kind of demonic creature that wants to have revenge for all the pain and humiliation they had to go through.
Not to mention there is also a bottle of lotion on the same desk where a picture of Roxy is. I think we all know what that employee was doing, and I can't blame him. I don't judge, do your thing.
@@--CHARLIE-- I have a feeling that it was intentional. And if it was intentional, I’m pretty sure Steel Wool knew exactly what they were doing when they designed Roxy
Withered Bonnie got even better in Ultimate Custom Night, his joking but cynical personality really suiting this imposing, broken-down children's entertainment robot missing his face and an arm. Plus, him saying "What is this prison, is it me trapped, or is it you" raises some super interesting questions regarding if Cassidy is keeping the rest of the spirits around to torment Afton or if it's merely him being cynical.
Another thing about Springtrap in fnaf 3 is the color pallet. I see a lot of people complain about fnaf 3 green/yellow color pallet but it helps springtrap immensely. Most of the time the mere act of seeing him on the camera is a challenge in-and-of-itself, it’s gives the impression that he truly could be anywhere at any time
I agree with you. Fnaf 3 is my favorite Fnaf game because it actually feels unnerving. All the other Fnaf games don't feel particularly unnerving, but Fnaf 3 does give me one thing that I love. It tells a story. I have always loved seeing old buildings or machines because if there is one thing you know about them, it's that they once had life. Those buildings were full of people, and those machines once moved. Fnaf 3 gives me that story. The idea of Fazbear's Fright being the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria after 30 years of decay is amazing. The building is empty and worn out, but yet you know that the building was once full of children and adults. Those same lifeless machines that have wires hanging out of them were once singing to a crowd of children on a nicely lit stage. That's what I like about Five Nights at Freddy's 3.
I completely agree, especially because unlike other enemies, Springtrap still has the mind and complex thought of a murderer, and not only do his colors hide him, he also purposely hides on the cameras to try and not be spotted by you
Also if they weren't designed the way they are, there wouldn't be nearly as many fnaf fan songs in the metal genre. Which as a metal-head I greatly appreciate.
Their are theories about it actually being Michaels nightmare because of a journal entry, but 1. Michael could have traumas from fnaf 1 2. The theory could’ve been false / retconned 3. It could’ve been Evan/CCs entry (he wrote in Michael’s journal before) 4. They could’ve just both had the same nightmare (my headcanon)
@@bananatheartist103 It's possible that William gave CC nightmares with illusion disks in 1983, but then Michael experiences the nightmares himself after FNAF 1. CC may have attached his soul to Michael, or he may have accidently lured Shadow Freddy to Michael to give him a curse.
On your note on W. Bonnie leaning to one side, that kind of thing helps make the animatronics feel more robotic and less human. When one side of you is weighed down, you will naturally lean the opposite way to balance yourself. But when you're a robotic animatronic not designed to be weighed down, you won't do that. Can't believe I never noticed this.
Yeah I've honestly watched this vid 2 or 3 times already (i just let autoplay go for background noise) and the withered bonnie segment made me finally realize that detail and that it wasn't just a random design choice
Scott himself said that Bonnie sometimes gave him nightmares In my opinion , my favorite one is withered bonnie ( and maybe puppet too ) because of how simple yet unique he is , and in UCN he have some humor
I actually find I really like Glamrock Chica - I know she's probably the most mindless out of all of them - but I noticed in the opening cutscene when Freddy is glitching out that Chica is the first to notice something is wrong. She actually comes close to Freddy to check on him when he falls after his malfunction. In my mind I imagine she's so mindless because she was the one that needed the most... Tampering with in order to become aggressive? I dunno, I'm a fan of all the Glamrock animatronics. I just think too hard about things.
@@davidc. It fits really well though. Chica is always seen eating throughout the game, monty supposedly kills bonny (could be wraith and envy combined, since he was jealous of bonny, and he was incredibly angry towards him) and Roxy is very clearly vain, with the taking of her eyes symbolysing it.
As much as I do admit Roxy was a great character. I think Daycare Attendant was way more interesting. The fact that you start off out of nowhere with this over the moon excitement for another person feels so unnerving. And his desperate attempts for us to come back when we go behind the desk only for him to start going into madness as the lights go out revealing his other persona which by the way hunts you down the entire game. And when you finally turn on the last generator just makes him disappear feels so uncomfortable yet calm. And then your just left all alone with the same music playing in the background only for him to literally toss you out when your about to leave into immediate danger. Another really close call was DJ Music Man because his chase segments were so hot
I like Vanessa the most. She may not be the best I during the game itself, but her lore makes her interesting, just she wasn't executed right, as in the scrap content for her helping you.
Withered Bonnie's design is a solid 10\10. The fact that he's so much more damaged than every other animatronic, [not counting mangle lol] really sets him far apart from everyone else. He's my favorite character from the entire series.
FNaF1: Foxy, due to how different his mechanics and look is compared to the other characters. FNaF2: Withered Chica was pretty terrifying in this game, being forced in one pose with that giant gaping jaw with the very small pupils is just unsettling. FNaF3: Springtrap, cause I mean. Come on. FNaF4: Nightmare Freddy has always fascinated me, having multiple nightmare plushies connected to him, making him seem like a deadly virus, and him being the only character that's in your room from start to finish. SL: Funtime Freddy just had this unhinged personality that as soon as I heard it, it made me fall in love with the character. The fact that he has a hand puppet as emotional support also just cracks me up. FFPS: Scrap Baby was always a standout, the fact she was rejected and came back with older parts from her previous body shows her desperation. And I mean, come on, that claw hand is really cool! HW: Dreadbear just is the perfect way to give Nightmare Freddy a Halloween skin, since he was one of the two characters to not have a Halloween DLC skin. Yes, Grimm Foxy exists, but Nightmare Mangle came first. SB: While I may get some flack for this, I really LOVE how Monty was executed in this game. Just the mystery of Glamrock Bonnie going missing, but if you demolish chica first in the og version, monty was one of the most terrifying enemies due to the fact you cannot stop him. And that feeling of finally going through that CRAPPY Mazersize segment and destroying him was incredibly satisfying. Plus it was never entirely clear if he could still move, so when DanTDM found Monty destroyed in the arcade, he freaked the hell out of him! Honestly one of my favorites!
One of the main reasons Roxy stood out the most to me besides the “attracted to toxic women” and “I can fix her” mentalities was that she was the only one that had a fleshed out personality. Plus, Security Breach finally but briefly gave us an instance of the animatronics interacting with one another. Her telling Freddy to get out of her room gives off annoyed older sibling vibes and I’m all for it since it in a way it solidifies how they see each other as friends/family. The Ruin DLC adds even more to her character, which I wouldn’t be surprised if you said she was your favorite in that game too, then again the mimic isn’t a bad option either.
Ruin makes Roxy go from good to great. We get to see her real personality, a cool older sister type that's comforting and encouraging. Someone a little kid can look up to and idolize. Also, it's a fun touch that cool and tough Roxy is the hair and makeup girl, and not more peppy and "girly" Chica, who's main thing is exercise.
"I feel like Roxy is a surprisingly complex character among the animatronics in security breach, and it makes me really love her as well as all the other characters the game has to offer." "She also has the benefit of being really hot-" -Pastra
im noticing a patern that Pastra tends to prefer either: A: Bonnie variants B: mysterious / final boss-like big bads that are (most likely) the last animatronic you encounter in the game. C: Lefty (though all of the Scrap animatronics fit B pretty nicely aswell, so not a real catagory) and Roxy
17:06 that caught me off guard lmao Vanny's not an animatronic, but she's probably my favorite from SB. Just her sheer potential alone, even though it's been ruined, still makes her the best imo. I hope Steel Wool finds some way to salvage her character in the next game
@@LumboDumbo I mean, why wouldn't there be? Have you seen the r34 content of this fandom in general. Everyone wanting to f*ck chica has- been a meme since the first game. And it didn't become such a popular joke for no reason.
Shadow Bonnie and Freddy are probably my two favorites overall. There isn't a shred of personality between the two, but what their very existence did to the community was fascinating to watch unfold in the golden age of FNaF 2. They truly felt like playground rumors, and that kind of mystique always gets me no matter the franchise. Plus there's the hidden shadow Bonnie mini-game in FNaF 3. I'd be able to write a full on paragraph about how much I like those mini-games as a whole, but "the idea is super cool to me" will suffice.
Mangle. I think the idea of making a character that just says "This guy suffered." was a great idea. and its got one of the coolest, most recognizable sounds. Its the coolest sounding static there is.
She and other fox animatronics should not have been used to replace foxy later in the franchrise. I like mangle, funtime foxy and roxanne not so much but I overall miss how prominent my favourite pirate was in the early days.
Mangle used to scare the hell out of me, still kind of does. I can't fully explain why. Something about the static, about the way they travel above you like a spider. Something about the way that unlike the other animatronics, they communicate, but it's in a "language" you'll never understand. Calling for help they'll never get. Basically, same, mangle is my favorite and this other guy is a little bit a clown for using your comment to complain abt lack of foxy tbh
@@daydreamz618 There we go. Another person calling me names for having an opinion. When will you learn? Would you like it if I told you you're a little bit of a pussy for being afraid of a character in a videogame?
especially the videos of like mangle apparently saying they saw or did something, I forgot what they did though. something like biting someone's face, or witnessing it. leaving it up to the imagination what the tangled fox could/can do is craazyy. @@daydreamz618
Speaking of great character designs, can I just say how much I love your main character, Clyde? He has such a cartoon-ish yet creepy vibe, and I love the way he appears like the Cheshire Cat in the intros.
My favorite of each game, and a brief little talk as to why: Fnaf 1: Golden Freddy. I love the mystery this character created. We knew NOTHING at first and still his nature remains largely an enigma. The fact he's an uninhabited suit makes him very unique and- yeah, Fnaf 1 definitely had my favorite look for him. He fits within the established design conventions while still looking ghostly, spectral, above the others in some way Fnaf 2: The Puppet. I love the air of importance this character has, her universal presence in most of the minigames, the post night cutscenes, and in gameplay. The idea of the one in control literally being a puppet is an irony I enjoy as well Fnaf 3: Springtrap, it's obviously Springtrap, probably my favorite character in the series. I still remember initially realizing "wait...are those human guts?" when playing the game, and the shock of realizing this was William the whole time added another layer of horror to him Plus I got one of the rare screens at one point. Nightmares ensued. Speaking of nightmares Fnaf 4: Nightmarrione. CRIMINALLY underrated character similar to Nightmare, in my opinion. Such a, frankly, horrifying design while avoiding the issue of seeming too "tryhard" people have with the other nightmares. Those tentacle limbs are freaky when they're still, but in motion in Help Wanted...SCREW that, dear god Sister Location: Ennard. I fully agree with you about Ennard, for all of the same reasons really, so I won't go too far into it. His design is a bit gross, and I've seen people take issue with that, but I think that's the point. This writhing mass of wires with a vaguely human face SHOULD be one of the most unsettling things in the series Pizza Sim: Scrap Baby. I love that Baby actually gets to be a threat to us now, and a major one at that. Separating her from Ennard was an interesting idea, and we get a terrifying and cool design out of it. The rollerskates and the claw arm are favorite aspects of mine Help Wanted: Glitchtrap, has to be. This is a character who's design and story role are both unlike anything we've ever seen before. He's a return to the simpler designs of Fnaf 1 that I think is great to see, while also being VERY standout. Not my favorite Springtrap look, but definitely the most...unnerving Security Breach: Monty. I'm gonna be honest, the main reason for this one is how strong I feel the design is. I think he is the most believably scary of the 4 Glamrocks (which granted isn't saying much), and the lore of him dismantling Bonnie entirely unprompted reinforces that, and is also just interesting
1) I can get behind that. At the time he was just an easter egg and we didn't know much about him. That fact that Ultimate Custom Night gave us more insight to Golden Freddy and what he is is cool revelation. 2) Agreed. Her importance to the overall story hinges on the fact she was the first victim. The entire series started with her. 3) I remember the fans speculating around Springtraps design and going "IS THAT A SKULL?!!" and then the realization that there is a person inside of Springtrap. Then during the minigames when we realize it was Purple Guy (at the time we didn't have a name) and the fans went wild. 4) I never ran into Nightmarrione and never saw any lets players run into it either, probably because it was only for the Halloween edition. I didn't even know it was a FNAF 4 character until recently. SL: My favorite is Baby due to her significance both as being the first voiced animatronic and her being one of the first animatronics to NOT be a villain. I DO understand why people like Ennard so much though. HW: I feel like he's the defacto. He's really the only animatronic that has any significance because the game is meant to be a coverup for the events of the past few games. However still continuing the story by making Glitchtrap, telling us "the events of the series DID happen. Afton still exists, and he's still has malevolent as ever. This company is just trying to cover it all up". SB: It's very hard for me to get a favorite character, as I feel the Glamrocks are some of the weakest in the series. They hold absolutely no lore relevance, they weren't made for a specific purpose they just are, they're not possessed by anyone and if Afton is possessing them it's VERY hard to tell, they just exist to be bad guys with Glamrock Freddy being an enigma. Vanny at least as a reason for existing, it's similar to Saw.
@@screamingopossum7809 i don't think every characters have to be made with lore significance. If the Glamrocks are some of the weakest characters bc of this then the same could be said about the Toys, the Phantoms, the Shadows, and the Rockstars (excluding Lefty).
@@yallrfatuglyandunattractive It's mainly due to the fact there are so little animatronics in the game that there should be a reason for them. The toys are there with their facial recognition to call the police if Afton comes and one of them are responsible for the bite of 87 (probably Mangled). They have a reason to be there. Shadows are Easter Eggs and Shadow Bonnie isn't even it's real name. Phantoms are there more for mechanics purposes because without them the games already easy enough. The Rockstars I can get behind but reminder, it's a Pizza Tycoon game with the set goal of luring the animatronics that scare you during the night. You're building a Freddy Fazbear Pizza Place, so it makes sense to have the "up to date" versions of the Freddy Gang. You start off buying knock off animatronics to get the money to buy them, hence the mediocre melody. Security Breach is none of that. The Pizza Complex is an official Freddy Fazbear Pizza place. So outside of being the reason Glamrock Bonnie was scrapped, Monty is just THERE and Foxy isn't mentioned anywhere. With there being 6 animatronics in the game (4 Glamrocks, The Blob, and Burntrap, not including the security robots and endos and Vanny is just a Furry), 7 if you count DJ Music Man (which I'm not arguing his role as a character outside of the game, 8 if you count Sun/Moondrop that effectively do nothing, there should be a reason for why those characters were made/added in that isn't for the lols, especially for a FNAF game. FNAF has always had reasons for certain characters especially when the cast is limited. Roxy and Monty are there just to add new characters to the lineup to be antagonists. If we saw them progressively being possessed by Afton with purple light, smoke, ANYTHING I wouldn't be saying this. But they're just there to be annoying. Replacing any of the Glamrocks excluding Freddy would serve the same purpose. Also the glitching around Vanny still doesn't have an in game reasoning. In a first person game, when were seeing out of Gregory's eyes, his vision goes funky whenever Vanny is there. That's never been addressed in the game.
the original Mangle i remember unnerved me so much. I have a huge eversion to body horror, and I guess the idea of something being pulled apart limb by limb, and then meshed back together into a monster that crawls around on the cieling was unnerving to me. even though it wasn't a living being, the exposed wires gave the impression of entrails, and its serpentine like appearance added to its creep factor. Needless to say I was a big fan of the ending of Jr's
One thing I personally love about Glitchtrap's design is that it's more akin to Country Bear Jamboree or Rockafire Explosion type vibe, when animatronic entertainers were made to more resemble plush toys at the time, rather than looking like actual robots. Given the newer, sleeker designs that we've seen throughout the series, it really drives home the effect that he's been around for a LONG time, and I love it!
He really does feel like he's a robot from the 80s (I know he just a glitch ment to show what afton suit may have looked like at the time) That and I love how damn creepy he is.
As a person who lives in Florida and near Disney, I can confirm Malhare/Glitchtrap REALLY looks like he stepped out of Splash Mountain or Country Bear Jamboree- Kinda unnerving to me specifically because of it actually lol
For me, the best character is Toy Chica. She just scares me, the usual friendly and alluring look is broken once you see her scaring form, the beady white eyes and the lack of a beak really surprised me when I first saw the character, Scott knows what he was doing when he created her model. The voicelines in UCN also adds to the creepiness. Other than those reasons, there is no other particular reason I like this attractive anthropomorphic chicken, yes, no particular reason at all Edit: Christ, this comment blew up. Thanks for the likes, random furries on the internet
That is a good choice from the developers, but I don't think it was her hot headedness that Pastra was referring to. Rather, and I can't believe I'm falling into this, he finds her physically attractive... -_-
I love the foxy characters. I’m a sucker for pirate theme and foxes in general (between its elegance and how they’re portrayed in stories, to their funny little territorial yelps), but aside from that seeing foxy run down that hall and him being different mechanics wise was terrifying to me. The way withered foxy stands in the hallway and the unnerving radio noises of mangle, to the absolute chaos that is lolbit’s chuckle and voice that gives a bit of comic relief. I love fun time Freddy and sun for the same reasons.
This video honestly makes me want to go into my own personal favorite characters from each game myself, so here goes. FNAF 1: Foxy was the character I got the most attached to of the main roster. There's such an air of mystery around him -- how run-down he is, how he only moves when he's not being looked at, the "OUT OF ORDER" sign in front of Pirate's Cove. The shot of him right as he's about to run from Pirate's Cove where he's crooked in such an unnatural way is incredibly eerie. He comes off as the most unstable of the animatronics and even though he's a pretty simple threat to deal with, that feeling of pure unadulterated terror when you see that he's *not there* leaves an impact none of the other FNAF games quite replicate. FNAF 2: Yeah my favorite is also Withered Bonnie. His design is the one that's easily the scariest to me for all the reasons you explained -- his lack of face, how he leans to one side, and just how fucking massive he is. Even minor things like the loose wires hanging from his missing arm freaks me out. I wish he was a little more unique as well, but his design in general is probably my favorite in the whole series. FNAF 3: Springtrap is the only valid answer here, but I do genuinely love the character for, again, most of the same reasons you've stated both here and in other videos. The twist where it's revealed that Springtrap is William Afton is an utterly series-defining moment that acts as both a shocking twist, and a straight shot of catharsis at seeing this piece of shit murderer in agony. That said, I actually disagree with your take on how he's handled in Pizzeria Sim. I do not like his PIzzeria Sim design at all mind you, but Afton's reason for killing the children was to discover how to achieve immortality. In a way, by becoming Springtrap, Afton won, even though he lives in constant agony. That makes the ending of Pizzeria Sim even more cathartic to me, seeing him burn and his soul finally be sent to hell for him to be tortured for eternity. It's a very fitting end for the character and it makes me disappointed that Security Breach ended up retconning that. FNAF 4: Design-wise, Nightmare Foxy is my favorite. Even though he doesn't have much going on as an actual character, Nightmare Foxy is, in my opinion, the best designed of the Nightmares. The lack of faux fur on his snout exposing his teeth and mouth structure, his serpentine-like tongue, and how he mirrors FNAF 1 Foxy in gameplay and instability makes him fairly interesting to me. Sister Location: ...yeah I like Funtime Foxy. All of the SL animatronics are amazing, but Funtime Foxy just stuck with me. The way he stares at the cameras in the Custom Night mode, his demeanor and personality in UCN that's pretty much a more hyped-up and charismatic version of Foxy with a game show host vibe makes me really adore him. He's like if Mettaton was a horror game character and I live for that. Even though characters like Circus Baby and Ennard are more important to the overall lore, I just love Funtime Foxy way too much to not want to talk about him. Pizzeria Simulator: I honestly don't have many strong opinions on the Pizzeria Sim characters, but Molten Freddy is easily the scariest to me. Something about loose wires freaks me the fuck out, and Molten Freddy perfectly achieves that being the tangled mess that he is. His unhinged jaw, razor sharp teeth, and single red eye, on top of hearing his distant laughter as he crawls through the vents, makes him the most viscerally terrifying PS character to me. [I don't really like any of the Help Wanted animatronics lmao] Security Breach: Monty. It's Monty. I fucking love Monty. Even though he's similar to Roxanne in a lot of ways, for me personally, Roxy was always bogged down by her angst factor. She doesn't really feel scary to me (prior to her being decommissioned), more just pathetic. But Monty fixes all of that. He's raw power, he KNOWS he's raw power, and nothing can stop him once his sights are set on you. You can't stun him, you can only run and hide and HOPE he goes away. The way he speaks to Gregory knowing full well how much more powerful he is just left an impact on me. He also has the best voice lines, jumpscare, animations... even though he's basically a joke once he gets decommissioned, that doesn't make me love him any less. It's simultaneously cathartic and horrifying how he screams in pain when you hit him with the Fazer Blaster, and I absolutely ADORE the little touch with him death rolling you in that state. Monty just hits all the right marks for me -- being an intimidating threat while simultaneously having a ton of personality and charm to him. Even if he's not as scary as Decommissioned Roxanne, I just adore him as a character too much to not gush about him. He's very, very well-designed.
Nightmare Foxy actually only had the tongue in his teaser image. Scott removed it because he didn't like it. Felt it was cool in concept but is never really well executed.
My favorite from Security Breach is Monty. I just think he's such a funky fella, and still shows some signs of being really caring for kids... even if it's seemingly a facade, it has a true undertone of something that reminds me of a father. He may have some anger issues, seeing as he trashed his room, but that's okay. He's still an interesting guy that I want to see more of, and know more about.
Sadly, he basically only has "HEY, LITTLE GUY!" and Incoherent screaming as his main voicelines. I hope to expand on him if I do make my fan game concept a reality.
I’m a bit biased because I’ve always loved reptiles even though wolves are ultimately my favorite animals, but Monty is also my favorite from security breach because I just love crocs and gators and he just looks so cool and stylish as well as his badass voice and claws.
Withered Bonnie has hands down my favorite design in the franchise. The lack of his face scared me so much as a kid and it holds a soft spot in my heart
I always loved Funtime Freddy because he is just so crazy and hysterical with his voice and personality, SL custom night kinda shows it a lot. He is constantly taunting you and mocking you on your chances of survival and he somewhat tries to sound comforting by calling you birthday boy which shows that he isn't the one to be dealing with. Not to mention that voice is too good.
Something about Glitchtrap I never see talked about: I think he's meant to be a fusion of Afton and Springbonnie. I don't think it's a coincidence that he has big grey eyes, a pointed nose, and a too-big smile. I think the virus took this form to imply that William and the suit have truly become one, and this is his 'perfect' form.
Huh.. I've never thought about it like that before? I kinda thought, that the form Glitchtrap took, was of another version of the SpringBonnie suit. And the reason I thought that, was because there's a SpringBonnie mask seen in one of the 8-bit mini-games of Fnaf 4, located in the Parts & service room, that has a very similar design to Glitchtrap's head
@@animatronicmaniac4748 I know the one you're talking about, and while it does look a little similar, I would say it doesn't seem any more similar to that head design than any of the others. However I do think it's possible that the suit is one of the "spares" mentioned in FNAF3, so it's plausible
Even as someone who really dislikes any FNAF games other than the first two I think its cool to see people who are passionate about the series talk about it as I always like seeing other perspectives than mine on things such as this.
Personally, I like Security Breech the best because I have the most fun with it, but I absolutely love the first game, it’s probably the scariest in the series. (Haven’t played VR though, that might be the scariest just because it’s VR.) Thanks for being respectful about your opinion, don’t see that a lot.
[ *_NiGhTmArIoNnE_* ] is such a terrifyingly good design, and I love The Puppet in general, not just for the sad story behind them, but just their overall design and mechanic of having to wind a music box to keep them pacified. They really add this sense of dread, and really do add to the story. I love em'.
I agree. I’m of the opinion that the FNAF 4 animatronic designs tried too hard to be scary, but I understand what Scott was going for. Nightmarionne, in comparison, doesn’t really have much changed about them. Their design was already creepy enough from FNAF 2, but give em the ol 4 treatment and you’ve got my fave. Also, hot take, fave phantom is Puppet, despite how annoying they can get lol
I can’t believe how criminally underrated your channel is. The amount of time and effort you put into each video is just amazing. Keep up the hard work, you have my full respect, man!
Springtrap is ultimately my favorite overall, even if I think he could be greatly improved. Honestly I always loved his jumpscare, even though many dislike it. It makes sense. A child is the type to jump and yell to scare someone, hence why 99% of all the animatronics do just that. They're children. But Afton isn't there for a cheap scare and some revenge. He's there to tear you apart for no other reason than entertainment. Hell it isn't even a scream he emits, it's more akin to a sigh of satisfaction that he finally wormed his way to you instead. Not to mention the fact that he *knows* who you, the player, are in the story. Yet he rips you up anyways. His own son. For no rhyme or reason, for no purpose only than his own pleasure.
I love that he doesn’t jump at you like the others, the subtle jumpscare feels to me like he isn’t a child trying to be scary to protect themselves, he’s a fully grown man who is actively intimidating when he settles in front of you because you know what he wants to do.
Just imagine how dumb and silly it would be if William Afton just jumped at you screaming like any other enemy, of course Scott was smart enough to not do tha-- oh wait, right, that happens in four different games now. Including FNaF3-VR. Well... at least he was smart about it the first time?
@@Falkuzrules The only excuse I can give for Pizzeria Simulator is maybe insanity taking a hold of his head and being unable to control himself but his demeanor and voice say otherwise. Scott phoned it in on him but VR was less of his doing.
Bonnie and Springtrap are my favorites for the same reasons. Bonnie has the most unnerving appearance, and I think most people can agree on that, especially since Scott has nightmares about him. The images where he stares at you, whether it was from him being in the Parts and Services room or the rare screen where it's just his head with hollow black eyes, still send chills down my spine. It's also why a part of me doesn't like it when people give him eyebrows. Sounds silly, but it really does feel like it takes away what makes him scary. When Springtrap made his debut, I knew immediately I was gonna like him, and I still do. He's incredibly unique. He's literally a walking tomb, taking the whole mummy thing to a whole new level. Not only that, even in death, William's need to hunt is still strong as ever. Nothing's gonna stop him. I also agree that he did better when he was a lot more subtle. I don't mind a crazy villain who comes back at every chance he gets, but I definitely prefer a mysterious, almost mute mummy whose true intentions you'll never know about.
I love Nightmare so much. Everything about him, the bright red eyes, the jumpscare, the translucent body, and mostly the lore. I personally believe that he only shows up on the seventh night since the seventh night is the crying child’s nightmare while in a coma, and that his jumpscare is the way that it is since that was the last thing that the crying child saw. And the fact that the jumpscare audio is a slowed ambulance really adds to it for me. I love the re-color of Fredbear aspect of it as well, since Nightmare truly is just an even more terrifying version of Fredbear, and what the crying child saw him as. I just love Nightmare getting the recognition he deserves as a well thought out character.
I genuinely love Mangle and Puppet from FNaF 2, Mangle's messed up endoskeleton and wires are so cool, and the fact she crawls around(maybe like a spider?) Fits extremely well with a body like theirs. The Puppet has an extremely super simple yet unnerving design, something about them seems like they don't belong in the Pizzeria. Another favourite of mine are the Sun and Moon characters from Security Breach, I love how they can just switch personas depending on the time, and their design just tickles my silhouette bone.. and Sun's personality is so fun!
@@000coolkid9 nah, I like withered Bonnie, extremely unsettling design. I just prefer Mangle and Puppet more because of how "out of place" they are with the rest of the Toy Animatronics.
i think part of what makes the puppet feel different is that.... it's not a animatronic. at least, it MIGHT not be. it's thin, no gears, no nothing, and instead of walking, it floats.
FINALLY, someone who likes Nightmare!! I agree when you said that the mystery behind his identity and what he represents is intriguing, it's a fun topic to think about! Personally I believe he's the embodiment of Evan's childhood trauma and fears, given his name and visible frontal lobe. Love your stuff man, keep it up!
A lot of people hate Nightmare's jumpscare for being a still image and not being a scream but I love it. The noise is a messed up ambulance siren and I interpret that as the bite victim hearing the siren going in and out of consciousness and not being able to hear it clearly. This monster ghost just stares into your soul while you die and that creeps me out in the best way possible.
@@onlookerofthings6029 Right? It's simple but effective, he's just looking right at you making this distorted noise, it sends chills up my spine when it happens sometimes.
For me in FNAF1 it was always Freddy. The 'handprint' photos, his bright and happy appearance in promotional material vs his sinister and stalker-hunter-ish appearance in the game... it was such a shocking contrast. I remember on my very first playthrough, Freddy only moved right at the end of Night 3 and never reached the Office: I didn't see him in the cameras, though, and didn't know what to look for. That icy chill of fear, of knowing the previously idle threat of Freddy has suddenly become very malevolent and very real, scared the crap out of me. His eyeless face and demonic laughter evoke the feeling of something deeply wrong: unlike the other animatronics, Freddy never keeps up the veneer of a child-friendly appearance. The spirit within him knows where you are, it knows exactly how to find you, and it drops all pretense. FNAF1 Freddy is still my favourite animatronic of the entire series; that uncanny valley creepiness and eyeless horror has always stuck with me. FNAF2 was closer, and while the fear of Withered Freddy and his vacant, zombie-like stare was potent, I have to go for the Puppet. We are told almost NOTHING about it or why it exists: just a vague warning to keep the box wound up. The Puppet is therefore the greatest priority, the 'overriding threat' to which all the nights are based around. That fear of the box running out is so paramount that I still flinch upon hearing 'Pop Goes The Weasel' in any context. Plus, the design of the Puppet as an 'empty' marionette that practically levitates and is the most sentient and intelligent threat in the game made its design profoundly creepy to me. FNAF3, I agree that it has to be Springtrap. I've mentioned this in other comment sections on your videos, but the sheer terror of being 'alone with the Psycho' gives Springtrap and FNAF3 this very isolated and dark tone. Springtrap is ACTIVELY hunting you. This isn't a misguided spirit or a hacked computer chip: this is a very much alive, tortured entity who wants nothing more than to kill you and resume his reign ofterror. His design is easily my favourite: the shredded felt-like exterior has yellowed with age and feels rotten to the eyes. His gory flesh and forever-preserved scream under the mask leave nothing but torture, fear and a deep sense of wrongness. Worst of all, though, are his eyes. They seem bloodshot, and glow with an ethereal inner light like an intent stare. Springtrap's permanent slasher smile and glowing glare of doom from the depths of the ventilation shafts is one of the scariest screens from the FNAF franchise, imo. (Kinda biased by my phobia of vent shafts, but still) FNAF4 I didn't really enjoy, so I don't think it's fair for me to give an opinion. FNAF:SL was another tough one. Funtime Freddy was my first thought. His unhinged voicelines, towering stature and terrifying jumpscare made him very memorable to me. Ballora's whispery voice, music box attack and TEETH (brr, those teeth) made her a strong contender too. But, ultimately, I have to agree with you on Ennard. Their totally unexpected yet foreshadowed appearance stunned so many of us - including me - back in the day. Their effect on the story, wearing Michael like a skinsuit and being smart enough to actually escape? Horrifying. But his gradual infiliration in the Private Room Ending was the worst. Here was a huge mechanical abomination using a little girl's voice, worming it's way into your psyche and manipulating you. Ennard is probably the most psychologically horrific antagonist in the entire franchise, and that makes him easily my favorite SL character. Again, thank you for an excellent video Pastra and I look forward to the next!
You bring up a good point about fnaf 1 Freddy that I never considered. I appreciate him much more now. Even if Golden Freddy (or Yellowbear, technically) is still my favorite from the first game.
My favourite in any game will always be the Puppet. Not only because of her significance, with her being Afton's first victim, but the fact that she acts as sort of the catalyst for so many things to happen. The Puppet is actually the one pulling the strings. She's the Puppet Master.
Personally... FNaF: Golden Freddy. Super mysterious and iconic. Seeing players' reactions to them was always fun and seeing how they impacted the lore and franchise was super interesting. FNaF 2: The Puppet. She's super unique with his creepy song and horrific design. I'd change my answer to Mangle though depending on what I feel like. FNaF 3: Springtrap. Duh. If you don't count him then Phantom Freddy. The way he walks across the window is super creepy and it's interesting to see how huge and bulky he is compared to Micheal. FNaF 4: Nightmare Fredbear. I love his UCN voice, I love seeing players' reactions to him, and he is super interesting in the story both as an animatronic and as a plush. FNAF SL: Funtime Freddy. I love his voice so much, his jumpscare and fake jumpscare are actually creepy, and I love his whole bonbon ordeal. Honorable mention to literally everyone else. They're all amazing in their own way. FF PS: Afton. Fight me. His smexy voice is smexy. He is such a smart way to evolve Springtrap in my opinion, and his chemistry with Henry and Michael is so damn compelling. If it wasn't for his design, he'd be my favorite character in the series. (RIght now it's the puppet) FNaF HW+CoD: Glitchtrap. I don't really have much of a choice. FNaF SB: Monty or Sun. I can't choose who I like more. The mystery of what Monty did to Bonnie is both funny and creepy. His voice lines are super silly, and his booss fight as actually pretty cool. Sun has a cool voice, creative mystery of who he is, and the way he changes into Moon is both extremely goofy but also nerve-wracking.
How could you. How could you. Mr. Hugs is the best character in the series. He, despite his weakness of no AI or not being possessed (as far as we know) makes an impression on everyone and, with his charming demeanour and constant kindness stands out from the rest of trash and the gang, nay, even shines bright when buried under the mediocre melodies and the rockstars. He is always there for everyone, accepting them with open arms, a true friend. Mr. Hugs may be a bit loud sometimes, even annoying, but he is undeniably an amazing person.
My favorite from FNAF 1 is Chica. She looks child friendly on stage but during the night she's the scariest. I love the detail of her beak opens wider and wider the closer she's getting to the office. Just makes her the scariest not to mention how you can still see her with the doors closed constantly watching you from the window.
Replay or rewatch the scene in the vents when you first pop a sneaky glance at Roxy talking herself up in the mirror. She then says that her fans are watching her and that she can tell. First play through, you assume it's a coincidence, but later, you discover she could see though walls this whole time. She knew you were looking at her from the vent. Ooo! Spooky!
My favourite security breach character has to be chica, the way she moves and twists her head all the time is really unnerving, it really adds up to that because I really like the idea of the animatronics beings normal around kids, but when nobody is left they go crazy, chica is a great example of that with her telling everyone to be fit and healthy yet she does the opposite herself, that's why she's my favourite out of the glamrocks.
I also love her makeup and that they kept in how she enjoys her food with a fun mini game too. She's super fun and uncanny at the same time which is great.
I like the call back to Toy Chica when she has no beak, her head looks very similar in shape to toy Chica especially with the missing beak. Unfortunately she doesn't have her signature cup cake.
Finally! Someone gives Nightmare some appreciation. He’s probably in my top five characters in the series, despite being so simple. I just wish he becomes more important to the lore if the FNAF plus series goes past the first remake and diverges from the originals.
My biggest complain with him is the lack of color, but not the lack of soul. Nightmare Fredbear has the colors, and in my head, this is translated into something alive, i mean, look at him, he has bright colours, like how it is intended to be. Nightmare is really cool when you see him in-game, but we are being told nothing about him, unlike Fredbear, for which we have some clues about his backstory. Nightmare is really dark but not that unique, in my opinion.
Well if you want a lore aspect of Nightmare,if you brighten the image of Nightmare, there is a human brain inside which not only plays into FNAF 4’s crying child getting bitten and the lobe is in there but it later plays on the idea of children being trapped into the Funtime Animatronics as well a callback to the children being stuffed in the suits. You could also argue that Nightmare is Death in a physical form whether you believe you are playing as the crying child, the spirit being haunted or the older brother being hunted down as the guilt goes after him. There are many different interpretations. Also if you are caught by Nightmare, you hear a strange noise, it is actually the sound of an ambulance slowed down.
I've gotta say my favorite character overall in fnaf is the marionette (the puppet), i love how their design is so slender and thin compared to the others, they're held up by a few strings like a real puppet and their mask always reminded me of scream. i just love the lore behind them too, which I personally think is the most complex. Charlie Emily is one of my favorite human characters and the fact that she possessed the puppet who tried to save her is the coolest element. She helped each of the children to inhabit the animatronics, and similar to what you mentioned with Springtrap/William Afton, a lot of the foundation of this game wouldn't exist without her.
Alright, here are my opinions. FNaF 1: Foxy. I think his mechanic really adds something to the game, and I like his design for being themed, as well as being so creepy in a realistic way. If the pizzeria was real and I went there as a kid, I would absolutely be scared by him. FNaF 2: I am obsessed with Toy Bonnie’s design. It blends creepy and cute in a way no other character in the franchise does, and is my personal favorite in general, and that’s saying a lot. Of course, his mechanic is the most basic out of anyone, but the way he just stares at you with his forced smile and giant eyes while moving to the left when you wear the mask really makes this character complete. It’s telling how he’s the only toy animatronic which doesn’t change appearance after leaving the stage. FNaF 4: Nightmare Fredbear is emblematic of why I like FNaF 4 so much. I love how he ties in with the story mini games and the bite of 83 and such. His design is also pretty good, I really like his “stomach mouth” thing. His game mechanic really prevents him from being anything I think about often, though. FNaF sister location: I like Ennard as much as the next guy, but Ballora is so amazing. I love how she never opens her eyes until she jumpscares you and how she’s trapped in the same pose constantly. And of course her song adds a layer of creepiness, while making you wonder about her significance. By far the most underrated animatronic in the franchise. FFPS: going back to balancing cuteness and creepiness, Music man is my favorite pizzeria simulator animatronic. His black soulless eyes, his stretch out mouth that only vaguely resembles a smile, his spider-like legs, and his arms which are only used for cymbals really makes him a stand-out character. I especially like his role in UCN, where he has an entirely unique gauge and a unique personality like most of the FFPS animatronics in the game. I can see why he was brought back twice in security breach. FNaF security breach: Sundrop/Moondrop is my personal favorite part in all of the game. To pick one, I’d say Sun is my favorite. The best parts about him are the unique clownish way he moves and his overly kiddy design which retroactively makes him terrifying. The artwork seen on the walls contrasted with his appearance really adds something that I wish was a bigger part of the game. His voice is great and fits his character, Kellen Goff did an amazing job. If and when a new FNaF game is made, I’d like to see them both return, the idea of two animatronics being one is a novel concept I’d like to see expanded upon. Other than that, I agree with your opinions on Springtrap and Giltchtrap, I guess since there wasn’t much competition.
I think my favorite is Marionette/the puppet. The concept of a creepy doll has always interested me, and it's simple design kind of separated it from the other animatronics, being the most human for a while. But Glitchtrap is the scariest. Mainly because he is the most human, you can almost see William behind the mask, luring children into their graves. And I don't like the stranger danger vibes that he gives, wich ads to the creep factor.
I'd have to give my favorite animatronic spot to Nightmarionne, the design is amazing, taking the innocent look of the puppet from FNaF 2 and making it into this huge scrawny monster. I feel like the nightmares went a bit too hard with a "big and bulky" design, and Nightmarionne is a fantastic opposite side of the coin for the idea of making a giant scary monster. On top of that I adore the voice lines it got in UCN and HW, most notably "I am a fearful reflection of what you have created" is particularly haunting. Hearing that line spoken by something with such a booming voice while having that voice glitch and loop on itself is very intimidating. It's not lore heavy like the original Nightmare, but I'd like to think it's a fantastic substitute for the sake of the Halloween update.
What I love about fnaf's one bonnie the most is the fact that he is always known as the "most aggressive" of the band, because he is the first one to move in most nights of the game and he is the one who usually attacks more times during the night, I just love it because it gives bonnie that "dangerous vibe" to say it like that, like the fact that he is the very first animatronic to attack in the entire game and the first one we actually get to see in person
It might sound a touch silly, but I think my favorite animatronic would have to be Sunrise. I can’t quite place why, and I know he and Moon have been criticized for seeming really random in a fnaf game, but I just think he’s neat. When I first saw him in game the thought process was very, “:0! Him! Him when he! Look at him go, funky man!” Also I love to think that (in the fictional world) whoever designed him and Moon was thinking, “Ah yes. Every individual tooth should be modeled. That won’t bother very small children who typically end up in daycares at all.”
Personally, Funtime Foxy is my favorite in the whole franchise. His voice lines in the ultimate custom night gave her a really cool, charming gameshow host vibe and his design is so... clean? It's simple, and yet so pretty on stage, yet it transforms into somewhat of a flickering ghost in the dark. She has such a glowing charisma about him I'm not entirely sure of, and his color scheme is just so oddly pleasant. She's not that scary though, which loses him some points, ngl.
What I’ve always loved about withered Bonnie is this, with the obvious exception of Mangle, he’s the only one who really takes the robo-gore you’d want from the withereds and runs with it.
When Markiplier called Foxy 'pirate cove man' when first seeing him, I felt really scared. When looking at Foxy in the first game, I couldn't tell what he was, or why he moved like he did. Fear of the unknown actually scared me. Was he a fox? An actual guy? Some type of rodent?? Fucking scary Edit: NIGHTMARE. MY FAVORITE ANIMATRONIC
I guessed literally all of them except Roxy. I thought you were gonna say sun/moon. I also agree with you on everything but Malhare. Idk, I hate his design. It's creepy, but in more of a "I feel like this thing is gonna molest me" and less of a "I feel like this thing is gonna kill me." One of those fears is fun, one is unpleasant.
VR tried too hard with Malhare, made him move so weirdly and then the name "Malhare" got drowned out in the community by that stupid generic name and he lost even more respect. But in terms of the "molest vs kill" thing you said, well he's basically a physical (or rather digital, I guess) manifestation of William Afton's desire to murder innocent children so it really can't be any other way I suppose. That's the one thing I love about him while I dislike just about everything else!
@@Falkuzrules idk it's different, there's no evidence that his murder is motivated in any way by desire. Personally I think he's trying to figure out how to bring Evan back and then just sort of went fuckin insane.
That brain you can see inside of Nightmare's head definitely sells the design for me. Just wish we got more of him. I had hopes when he showed up on TTO's cover, but you know how those sequel novels turned out.
Notice how this man appreciates and finds strong sides of all the games, especially from the characters. I think as representatives of the fandom, we should all let us inspire here, and learn to love the good sides of the games. Thank you Pastra
1: Bonnie, mostly due to exposure. He's the one we saw the most of in the first game, and thus had the most amount of time to get attached to. 2: Withered Bonnie. The lack of face and tiny but intense red eyes is such a cool design. 3: Springtrap by default. 4: Nightmarrione. The design is very similar to Slenderman, which is another horror game character I enjoy. SL: Ballora. Her mechanic is something I really enjoyed in the game. Also, she's ho- PS: Helpy. He's adorable and hilarious. HW: Grim Foxy. Since the Halloween update for Fnaf 4, I've always wanted a Jack-o-Foxy design like Bonnie and Chica got, and this delivered. Also his level in the Curse of Dreadbear DLC is the perfect combination of "I can't stop playing" and "I WOULD LIKE TO STOP PLAYING, PLEASE!" SB: Glamrock Chica. The same reason you like Roxy: she's really ho-
I agree with you in some, like with Ballora. I can't complain about G. Chica, its fair enough, but more of a figure you want to be friends with, unlike Roxxane... you want to be best friends with her
Funfact, Glitchtrap isn’t a springlock suit. You can see the fur stitching on his legs and arms and also the fact that he moves really freely like a person in a normal fursuit. Though I don’t know how a serial killer in a fursuit is normal. If you compare him to springtrap, Glitchtrap doesn’t have a moveable jaw and his eyes never blink or move really. And his arms are also not as bulky as a normal suit. But thats just a theory, A GAME THEORY. (but seriously yea its a theory, glitchtrap could be a springlock suit but he visual evidence is just too hard to ignore)
FNAF 1: Chica. I've gotten desensitized to a lot of the characters over time, but no matter how many times I see Chica she's still terrifying. The "Let's Eat!!!" bib feels especially menacing. FNAF 2: Agree, it's Withered Bonnie. I love the way his lower teeth frame the void where his head should be. FNAF 4: Nightmare. In a cast of characters that does honestly feel a bit overdesigned, I love how much of him *doesn't* stand out. You shine your light and there's just a set of teeth and eyes. He's basically the main character's fear distilled to its purest form. Sister Location: This one has to go to Circus Baby herself, because her identity is one of the few mysteries we have left and it's a juicy one. The game clearly wants us to think that she's Elizabeth Afton, but there are several clues that suggest this isn't the case, and I'm super intrigued by that. Pizzeria Simulator: Ignoring the animatronics who didn't see any real action until Custom Night, it has to be Scrap Baby. Her design hits a great balance of being decrepit and menacing. Security Breach: Monty is my favorite animatronic, being extremely radical, but my favorite overall character is Vanny. I love the mystery they built with her character, and I'm deeply irritated at the choice to make the "true" ending one where you ignore her altogether in favor of William Afton Part 4, Yes We Know He Wasn't Anywhere Else In The Game, He's Still The Real Villain Because We Said So. Custom Night: Revisiting a character who was introduced in Pizzeria Simulator, it's gotta be Happy Frog. I just think she's cute.
I agree, I don't like that the true ending in security breach ignored vanny completely. They could have at least shown what happened to her. Hell, they could have even brought back glitchtrap.
I'm so glad someone actually gave Nightmare the credit he deserves and is also interested in who he is, or what he represents because its something I've always been interested in.
You touch on the idea of an entire video on Nightmare, and honestly I would love that! Going over various theories and what we know would be fun. Also just wanted to say the editing and music as well as your art style gives your videos a unique and really cool atmosphere that I really enjoy
Pov: a eldritch horror kidnaps you and leads you to a dimension outside of space and time that he fully controls, you can't move, can't breath, can't die, only see and hear See and hear him talking about fnaf for the rest of eternity
I actually love the FNAF 4 animatronics! I get the criticism for being cheesily over-the-top, but it makes sense especially as they’re nightmares living in a kid’s mind as a manifestation of his traumas. And I thought they were scary when I was younger, so maybe nostalgia plays a part. Nightmare Fredbear’s my favorite, actually. :)
I'm in the part of the fanbase that saw Sun and Moon for all of five minutes and latched on. They both appear too self-aware to be fully affected by the virus, even if it's implied that Moon's child-murder phase is recent. Sun is actively conscious of it and trying to stop Moon from getting out, and Moon looks like he's having the time of his life, goofing off in between quick, bizarre attacks. The unanswered questions are a huge draw - there's a ton of space to play in regarding headcanons, and I hope it never gets plastered over with lore. I don't care if they're actually the ghosts of Charlie's time-travelling goldfish; I like them because they're out of place and doing their own thing. As interesting as it is for Glitchtrap to act more like the ghost of a person, his appearance and backstory are so goofy and buckwild that I really can't take him seriously. Ballora was the most unsettling character to me in Sister Location. She and Baby are both unique as people, but Circus Baby has a more cartoony name and design that help her fit into the overall lineup of animatronic creatures. Ballora looks more like an adult human, which makes her face-unhinging animation much more disturbing to me. The fact that you have to look her in the eye after watching her get "killed" also leaves a lasting impression. Never played Pizzaria Simulator, but I did always wonder what Lefty's whole deal was. Though Candy Cadet telling children depressing stories is pretty fun, too. Nightmare definitely stands out in FNAF 4, from the way he sometimes manifests as a giant head, to the grinder in his mouth and distinct noise made during his kill screens. The fact that they're not even animated works in his favor, I think. I seem to prefer characters that don't completely mesh with the rest of their game. This was also the game where I realize how much Balloon Boy creeps me out. I really like the hallucinations in FNAF 3, even if they're not full characters. They're literally just jumpscares, but they don't end your game, and I don't know if that's better or worse honestly. They're awful, but useful at the same time, since they signal needing to fix the airflow. A good deterrent against sealing off the vents and hoping you don't pass out. They force you to stay engaged with the game. The Puppet is so damn stressful and eerie in FNAF 2 and I love it. The lore had not become truly absurd yet, so I really liked learning more about it. The puppet effectively pulling the strings is clever, and the way that it was trying to help fellow victims is endearing. They actively build it up in the phone calls, and its creepy visage does not disappoint. FNAF 1 is a toss-up. Freddy taunting the player with the Toreador March and sitting back until later nights are iconic. He works so well as a title character with final boss vibes, laughing at the player before he actually shows us. That said, Foxy's unique behavior and literally being set apart from the other characters (and always "out of order") have all the same mystery appeal that made me like Sun and Moon so much. The stress of realizing he's out and rushing the door is also hard to forget. That, and he's basically a toddler who gets mad if you're not paying enough attention, which is great, because he probably is (which is less great.) The way he casually pops into the office is very fun, too. (TBH if not for the puppet, he'd be my favorite in FNAF2 as well - being able to see through the mask mechanic makes him really interesting. Then again, Mangle's whole deal is also memorable.)
I love the big, dumb gator in security breach, mostly because all his voice lines are exactly goofy enough to walk the line between intimidating and silly.
In FNAF SB, Monty was definitely my favourite out of them all. He’s just so freaking awesome, from the way he looks to the way he acts. Also, the whole glamrock bonnie situation is pretty interesting. Even if I don’t believe Monty did it.
Never understood why people dislike the design of FNAF4 animatronics, regarding Scott trying to make them look too scary when that’s the entire point. FNAF4 nights are dream sequences. How the animatronics would look in your nightmares. It’s my favorite designs in the series.
I've always really thought of Nightmare as the ultimate manifestation of the protagonists trauma with animatronics. I say protagonist mostly because there are 2 possibilities that have been discussed and debated for who we play as during the night sections of FNaF 4; with them being the crying child in a coma or Michael having nightmares after the incident, and I feel that Nightmare could represent either of their traumas from that incident; with the crying childs last moments being in a coma due to his part of his head being crushed from the jaws of Fredbear, or Michael having nightmares from the incident occuring with Nightmare being the ultimate manifestation of his trauma. It could also explain why his model is just a recolor of Nightmare Fredbear, as Fredbear was the main factor in the incident, but that's just me.
Nightmare is the one time a recolor was not only a good design choice, but actually added to its design due to the implication of why they look the way they do.
I agree Bonnie is one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise. I was really disappointed when I didn’t see him in security breach. I think the whole plot about him disappearing is also cool, and would have loved if the game focused more on that. Sun/moon is probably my second favorite character because I feel like we know so little about them. They also are really creepy looking. I feel that sun is one of the most interesting in security breach because he genuinely doesn’t seem to want to harm the player/Gregory. I thought it would be cool if a later game would expand on him a bit more too.
I love watching these kinds of videos where people share their opinion on stuff like this, I find it to be a fun source and how other people think and perceive. Also it's really fun to guess what they'll say, I only did it once as the thought only dwelled on me by Security Breach, but I successfully guessed them to be (If you didn't finish the video, I'll leave you to keep guessing for yourself) so I can't complain.
FNAF 1: Probably Freddy, there's a straightforward eloquence to his design and purpose. A perfect mascot. FNAF 2: Probably Mangle. Interesting concept and a design that both portrays it well and manages to be uniquely terrifying without "Overdoing it" like FNAF 4 supposedly did; plus, NB rights. Puppet's a close second for what I feel to be obvious reasons though. FNAF 3: Springtrap, kinda obvious. FNAF 4 : Nightmarione, cool, well animated and very unique; like something out of Tim Burtons worst dreams. Probably has the best voice-lines in UCN in my opinion. FNAFSL: So many great designs, so little time. I appreciate the simplicity of Lolbit but Baby ekes em' out for how well she balances a cute animatronic you could have sympathy for and a murder-clown-baby-robot amalgamed out to half the horror tropes in the book with finesse. FNAF-Pizza-Sim': Scrap Baby, for the same reasons you went with Withered Bonnie FNAF-HW: Plush-Babies. One of the few unique designs from this game with a great gameplay loop and IMO the most scariest, most tension-inducing gameplay. I kinda wish I could go with Virtual-Trap (blood-red-Springtrap) but he's mostly just a REALLY GOOD recolour and only appears on for like one section and isn't even the main threat. Security Breach: Too hard to decide. Freddy is unique in both his friendliness and subtle eeriness in any moment he might lose it (power, control, mind, or all of the above). Roxxane is real complex, like you said. Monty is probably the scariest. Chika gets the most characterization she's ever gotten, and I like the idea she's the youngest and most peppy and sporadic. Vannessa (and Vanny) would definitely win if it weren't for their lack of presence in gameplay. Sun&Moondrop are cool and voiced by the legend who voices Fiddlesticks but their lack of actual lore significance is unfortunate. Both music-men primarily just serve as threats more than characters but are truly remarkable at that job. Lastly, as cool and well designed as The Mass and Afton (AKA Burnt-trap or Salvage) are, they leave very little impact thx to their lack of screen-time and presence in the story.
Two months ago, when I came across this channel, it left me genuinely confused. You had just 3 videos and no prior history creating content on the platform that I could discern, yet your videos already had such polish to them that I didn't know what to make of it. I've been watching ever since, and I can't wait to see where your channel goes! Anyways, my personal favorites from each game would be: (FNAF1) Bonnie, for many of the reasons you listed and because he's purple. (FNAF2) The Marionette, as not only are they responsible for some of my favorite bits of the lore, but the design works well as a middle ground between the toy and withered animatronics, with a style in line with the toy animatronics put on top of a design with an older aesthetic to it. Very close call between The Puppet and Withered Bonnie; in fact, I initially wrote WB for this spot before changing my mind. (FNAF3) Springtrap, because of course he is. (FNAF4) Nightmarionne, because they make my least favorite part about the puppet (their almost comically thin design for an animatronic) into a positive aspect. (FNAF:SL) Funtime Freddy, because Kellen Goff is incredible. (FFPS) Helpy, as he embodies the humor of FNAF excellently: his mascot-befitting mannerisms mixed with the safety hazards and lawsuits of the pizzeria result in something I find endlessly amusing. (FNAF:HW) Malhare, because he does such a good job showing off the persona William Afton must've put on when luring kids to their horrific deaths. (FNAF:SB) Roxanne Wolf, cuz she's cool, hot, and extremely insecure- just like me! Except I'm lukewarm at best.
Fnaf 1 foxy will always be my favorite. His singing and unique mechanics make it very clear he's different from the rest, plus the save them minigame makes him almost lovable as a protector
FNAF 1 - Freddy Fazbear the great, love the music box stuff when the power goes out, awesome suspense FNAF 2 - Puppet was a nice change up from the bulkier animatronics, design was on point and story was intriguing FNAF 3 - Springtrap for lack of other characters, but Springtrap can still be super creepy. Best parts are them trudging slowly across the window or staring at you through the door, knowing you’re cornered FNAF 4 - The little pixelized Fredbear doll the crying child has. I like the nightmares alright, but they blend together. I like the weird psychic doll, the question of whether it’s actually alive or just an imaginary friend. Sister Location - Freddy and that stupid little Bonnie hand puppet crack me up Pizza Sim - I’m least familiar with this one, so not sure. Lefty has a fun design. I also like Candy Cadet. Help Wanted - Glitchtrap, maybe the most upsetting character in the whole series for me The Best One - Glamrock Freddy, the bestest friend a superstar could ask for
i love scrap baby so much. just the chaotic mess of parts is so cool to me, it really looks like she clawed as much of her original self out of ennard as possible and scraped up the rest from who knows where. also i love the wet floor signs in security breach, i just do. its a very simple design but it still looks cute. also it spins when you flash it with the camera or lazer, which i think is fun and also cute. i forgot to mention sundrop. i love how blissfully unaware they are of their overbearing personality and appearance that definitely frightens kids, but i just like the character because, hes trying his best. a for effort.
Throughout all of the games I fell in love with every single FNAF character. There isn’t a single FNAF character that I hate (except DeeDee). But my favorite have always been the Foxy line as I love foxes irl and fell in love with their mechanics and designs. I love all of the characters you choose (especially Roxy). Edit: IDK why people dislike Nightmare, he’s one of my favorite FNAF 4 characters
Sun/Moon is underrated! This terrifying switch between the charming and happy Sun who just wants to play with you and be your friend and the terrifying bloodthirsty Moon... all in an instant. It reminds me of split personality disorder or of the classic "good guy pushed over the edge" character. His part of Security Breach where you have to escape from the daycare is one of the most terrifying moments. Running trough this maze with multiple floors in complete darkness to find the generators which are placed in the most obscure spots (like seriously, are these massive wires and generateors always right next to the small childrean playing at the daycare?) all while this creepy monsterous animatronic is chasing you with murderous intent. It stuck with me man! Oh and the only way to stop this THING from catching up to you is by going OUT IN THE OPEN to knock down some.... things? which it has to fix, only making it more and more fed up with you. Chase sequences are always super cool/scary, much more than a random jumpscare. Oh and his design, while not being THAT interesting, I love how they pulled off the switch between Sun/Moon. It's a simple color change but works perfectly.
It's not like I didn't see it coming from a mile away but I'm tired of seeing these guys get sexualised. They have a lot of potential and instead Moon is sexually frustrated and Sun gets bimboficated. I freakin' love their mechanic and them as characters in general (I'm a sucker for those Jekyll/Hyde-esque characters), and besides Freddy, it's nice to have another animatronic as an ally if you think of Sun/Moon as their own individual person.
the one character i love in fnaf 4 was nightmarionne, even though he was only meant to be a replacement in the Halloween version and was said to be unofficial his design was so unique compared all of the others.his mechanic in ucn was one of the most unique in the game, and the way he and his character were better utilized in help wanted with the tentacles was such an upgrade from the Halloween version.
You make incredible points about a lot of these characters. Though a few choices surprised me (I don't meet a lot of Nightmare peeps), they make sense. My favorite of FNaF 1 was Foxy. Not only because he looked cool (a pirate and a fox? Sign me up!) but because he tossed a wrench in otherwise boring gameplay. As scary as FNaF 1 was (which it was intensely scary), you really only have to look at the lights outside your doors and shut the doors. If you ignore the cameras completely, they probably couldn't kill you. Well, that was until Foxy pokes his head out. He also had the most personality, that I saw. He didn't care what others were doing or about wandering around. He wanted to be seen, and he _was_ going to be seen. Freddy is an incredibly close second. In FNaF 2, it's the Puppet hands down. His tear streaked, colorful face set on a black doll with white banded limbs is interesting. I would have absolutely wanted a doll like that to hug and cuddle when I was little. While the others were cool and all, The Puppet feels the most appealing to my child self. In lore, we're told virtually nothing about him. What we do know comes from death mini games where he presumably guides the souls of dead children into suits, giving life. He's also a constant threat, the one forcing you to look at cams and become vulnerable. Then the feeling of dread when you hear "Pop Goes The Weasel". Once you hear that, you're already dead. I have to agree about Springtrap in FNaF 3, no questions asked. He's still the grossest character in the series on every conceivable level. He's visually unappealing (in a good way!), literally a rotten corpse in a rotten suit, and haunted by a rotten soul of a putrid human. It's the most gore and closest to explicit body horror we've come to. I could talk about FNaF 4 designs all day. Honestly, I like your point about Nightmare. I was really fond of Nightmare Freddy because he's just unique. He's a constant threat sitting on the bed. I remember Markiplier offhandedly commanding the Freddy plush to guard him. Plenty of kids use their toys as defenses against the dark, as shields and sources of bravery or comfort. For said comfort to turn into a blatant lie and kill the one who depended on it is horrifying and fascinating. I love plushies and I still collect stuffed animals. Sister Location! The first to come to mind is Funtime Freddy, absolutely. Ennard is a super close second and for all the reasons you explained. But FT Freddy has so much personality and such lively voice acting. Him and Bon-Bon being together (and Bon-Bon being "alive" as well) makes for a fascinating dynamic. Especially because you can make Bon-Bon tell FT Freddy to chill while in the utility closet. _"Bon-Bon! Go get 'em!"_ For Pizzeria Simulator, it was super hard. I agree about Lefty. He is mysterious and dangerous and such a dagger in the back! That last "salvage" of just the cardboard winky face was both hilarious and horrifying. Like, who's there? Who's inside? Then the animatronic you bought strikes during the office phase. Not only that, but Lefty doesn't really talk like the others so it's incredibly hard to hear him. Glitchtrap made Help Wanted interesting. That's that. Without him, it would be a collection of VR remake short stories. On top of his super cool design (I'm pretty sure I would've liked him as a kid or even now!), he's got to be one of the most important characters in the game. I had to hold for just a second on Security Breach. As much as I love Vanessa and Vanny, I have to give it to the Daycare Attendent. For one, the DA is very cool on the outside. A giant jester! He's so fun looking! I broke Sun during the day sequence on complete accident and he crouched in that sad pose, refusing to budge even when I got under him. You can see little wires and a circuit board and the little dents and designs on his face. His spokes retract and expand and wave depending on Sun's emotion and his current movement. His stripes and spindly limbs remind me heavily of the Puppet. Unlike the other animatronics, he has five fingers and ribbons with bells wrapped around his wrist. And then _Moon._ I broke Moon, too, on accident. You can't touch him, but he can get close. You can see Sun's spokes hidden behind his faceplate. His extreme colors contrast Sun's in every way and yet stay harmonious. Oh, and the funny little jig! He's by far the scariest animatronic in Security Breach. Weapons don't work on him, he's not fooled by hiding spots (including Freddy), he is ALWAYS closeby, and he thrives in a dark and creepy atmosphere. You can't stop him, either. Not even in his boss fight where you have to defeat him by forcing him to change into Sun, who is easier to deal with. Their obsession over keeping the place clean just adds onto their personalities. The "lovable and dotting fatherly figure about to snap" Sun and "once was probably really cool and nice but someone woke up and chose violence for him" Moon. They went all out making the DA. You can SEE the love they poured into them! Their section is my favorite in the game.
My favorite character would have to be Lolbit. First appearing in FNAF World (a game I really enjoyed, despite it not being a typical FNAF game), they also appeared in Sister Location Custom Night. Their ability in the latter to mess with/hack electronics really interested me. I hope we truly see them in a future game
Withered Bonnie will always be my favourite partially because it's the first memorable thing I saw in the series as I found out about it shortly before FNaF 3. His design instantly sparked my interest and my favourite character never changed throughout the continuation of the game series. My theory on why his design works so well is because to me his design unintentionally seems to give of a sense dispair, awakening and determination, due to his introduction, stance, stare and jumpscare, which Withered Foxy also has to lesser extend. To me Withered Bonnie is very easy to imagine as having an actual personality and motive, without ever talking in FNaF 2.
Just on a sidenote, I love how you start each game with a tune, each being more dreadful than the last. And then there is Pizzeria Simulator, completely breaking any tension.
The way Scott uses lighting on Sister Location when Ennard is on screen is always amazing. His design is so intricate and chaotic at the same time, too bad we didn't get to see much of them, I actually really like the concept. Also considering it's made from like 5 different animatronics it means (to me at least) that he's absolutely massive.
Another thing I love about FNAF 1 Bonnie is when someone pointed out that he's floating on a poster, Scott Cawthon said "Bonnie does not abide by the rules of time, space, or physics"
lol
also your pfp is so cute
I mean he teleports
Bonnie knows ur looking at him, by camera, but because he thinks ur a nosey player looking at ‘em
Bonnie is such an icon. We should all aspire to be like him.
Makes sense
I have always loved Funtime Freddy. I went to meet Kellen Goff (his voice actor) a few weeks ago and i asked him what his inspiriation for his voice was and i think he summerized the character amazingly. He said, "I thought of a voice kids would love but parents would be scared of."
In a Game Theory livestream he also said, he was inspired by the medic from TF2 and even sent in a take with a german accent (which sounds great lmao just search for german funtime freddy)
I love kellen in everything he does he is so good lmao
Makes sense, all kids would see is a friendly face, but the adults would see..uh..something else I guess lol. I like his idea. The kids have no clue what the parents are thinking and the parents are just like: “Yeah I’m fine, let’s just um..see Funtime foxy? You like Funtime foxy right?”
funtime freddy has been my 2nd favorite animatronic the day sister location was released
i met kellen goff then cried after lol, hes very cool
Kellen basically uses this voice for almost everything haha, he even brought back the voice for his part in Spooky Month!

And her jaw is just, *uehchgh.*
actually most people I've seen are terrified of her, understandably so
this is my take exactly
she has my favorite voice in ucn
@@mapledemon5601 let's smile together I was the first I have seen EVERYTHING
And their damaged body makes you think that this is some kind of demonic creature that wants to have revenge for all the pain and humiliation they had to go through.
same, its design and backstory is interesting, and what the radio is saying
My headcanon wad the second head was a bird
Me too, mangle is my all time favorite animatronic next to bonnie.
Same here, Mangle is one of my overall favorites
Steel Wool knew what they were doing with Roxy, the fact that there's photos of her on the employees' desks is clear evidence of that.

I completely agree, especially because unlike other enemies, Springtrap still has the mind and complex thought of a murderer, and not only do his colors hide him, he also purposely hides on the cameras to try and not be spotted by you
Also you can actually see multiple of him if you have a ventilation error which makes it just that much harder.
Never in my life I thout Brazil color palet would make a game more scary.😂
7:27 I love how the attempt for them to “look scary” is actually a good thing bc we are seeing it from a scared little kid and not a security guard
I also love when Ennard uses Elizabeth’s voice to get Micheal to lower his guard to them
Also if they weren't designed the way they are, there wouldn't be nearly as many fnaf fan songs in the metal genre. Which as a metal-head I greatly appreciate.
Their are theories about it actually being Michaels nightmare because of a journal entry, but
1. Michael could have traumas from fnaf 1
2. The theory could’ve been false / retconned
3. It could’ve been Evan/CCs entry (he wrote in Michael’s journal before)
4. They could’ve just both had the same nightmare (my headcanon)
wysi
Scott himself said that Bonnie sometimes gave him nightmares
In my opinion , my favorite one is withered bonnie ( and maybe puppet too ) because of how simple yet unique he is , and in UCN he have some humor

Hopefully she gets her time in the spotlight in the DLC.
I've noticed something with the hacked Glamrocks: their "personalities" are based on the seven deadly sins.

@@IvyDogginsThat's a stretch. I doubt he had the sins in mind. Especially when each one of them is such a broud thing

@@IvyDoggins they are actually just over exaggerated version of their personality, not sins
The Daycare Attendant is my favourite in SB lol
"with this over the moon excitement" i see what you did there

I like Vanessa the most. She may not be the best I during the game itself, but her lore makes her interesting, just she wasn't executed right, as in the scrap content for her helping you.
@Sense Get a life because you literally aren't alive.
Withered Bonnie's design is a solid 10\10. The fact that he's so much more damaged than every other animatronic, [not counting mangle lol] really sets him far apart from everyone else. He's my favorite character from the entire series.

@@christianvirtudazo3106 just imagine being the nightguard, staring into the dark hallway with those red eyes glaring at you from the darkness.
@@genericname2747 When I saw that in the game, I literally jumped out of my seat and said "HE DID THE THING!"
Honestly, I don't think the Mimic holds a candle to Ruined Roxy, but that's just my personal opinion.

Speaking of great character designs, can I just say how much I love your main character, Clyde? He has such a cartoon-ish yet creepy vibe, and I love the way he appears like the Cheshire Cat in the intros.
@u know me I didn't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't that
I love his “I’ll kill you” but also weirdly chill dude vibes.
I agree, it gives off Tim Burton vibes and I absolutely adore that ^.^
Yees, the laugh in the intro reminds me of Jevil and I love the design
I think hes actually kinda adorable lmao. The difference poses remind me of a cat trying to be spooky
My favorite of each game, and a brief little talk as to why:
Fnaf 1: Golden Freddy. I love the mystery this character created. We knew NOTHING at first and still his nature remains largely an enigma. The fact he's an uninhabited suit makes him very unique and- yeah, Fnaf 1 definitely had my favorite look for him. He fits within the established design conventions while still looking ghostly, spectral, above the others in some way
Fnaf 2: The Puppet. I love the air of importance this character has, her universal presence in most of the minigames, the post night cutscenes, and in gameplay. The idea of the one in control literally being a puppet is an irony I enjoy as well
Fnaf 3: Springtrap, it's obviously Springtrap, probably my favorite character in the series. I still remember initially realizing "wait...are those human guts?" when playing the game, and the shock of realizing this was William the whole time added another layer of horror to him
Plus I got one of the rare screens at one point. Nightmares ensued. Speaking of nightmares
Fnaf 4: Nightmarrione. CRIMINALLY underrated character similar to Nightmare, in my opinion. Such a, frankly, horrifying design while avoiding the issue of seeming too "tryhard" people have with the other nightmares. Those tentacle limbs are freaky when they're still, but in motion in Help Wanted...SCREW that, dear god
Sister Location: Ennard. I fully agree with you about Ennard, for all of the same reasons really, so I won't go too far into it. His design is a bit gross, and I've seen people take issue with that, but I think that's the point. This writhing mass of wires with a vaguely human face SHOULD be one of the most unsettling things in the series
Pizza Sim: Scrap Baby. I love that Baby actually gets to be a threat to us now, and a major one at that. Separating her from Ennard was an interesting idea, and we get a terrifying and cool design out of it. The rollerskates and the claw arm are favorite aspects of mine
Help Wanted: Glitchtrap, has to be. This is a character who's design and story role are both unlike anything we've ever seen before. He's a return to the simpler designs of Fnaf 1 that I think is great to see, while also being VERY standout. Not my favorite Springtrap look, but definitely the most...unnerving
Security Breach: Monty.
I agree. Nightmarionne is THE best FNaF4 character.
I agree with the SB character pick, Giga Monty is the perfect killing machine and overall the scariest character in the game
Yeah!! I think the thick stitches and help with his suit. It gives him an organic, hand-crafted feeling that adds to his creep.
He really does feel like he's a robot from the 80s (I know he just a glitch ment to show what afton suit may have looked like at the time) That and I love how damn creepy he is.

Other than those reasons, there is no other particular reason I like this attractive anthropomorphic chicken, yes, no particular reason at all

Foxxos..... Dog Hardware, Cat Software, completely adorable and goofy yet smart.
This video honestly makes me want to go into my own personal favorite characters from each game myself, so here goes.
FNAF 1:
Foxy was the character I got the most attached to of the main roster.
FNAF 2:
Yeah my favorite is also Withered Bonnie.
FNAF 3:
Springtrap is the only valid answer here, but I do genuinely love the character for, again, most of the same reasons you've stated both here and in other videos.
FNAF 4:
Design-wise, Nightmare Foxy is my favorite.
Sister Location:
...yeah I like Funtime Foxy.
Pizzeria Simulator:
I honestly don't have many strong opinions on the Pizzeria Sim characters, but Molten Freddy is easily the scariest to me.
[I don't really like any of the Help Wanted animatronics lmao]
Security Breach:
Monty.
Giga monty

This is an almost-perfect replica of my favorites
@@CrimGamers do it then
My favorite from Security Breach is Monty.
Thats an interesting take on the character
he's also the FIRST AND ONLY LIZARD!!!!! SO COOL
He killed bonnie
He is a menace
I HATE THAT GATOR!!!

That's actually really smart. I'm surprised I've never heard that theory before.
so his fursona?
@@1970Camaro Pretty much, yeah
Even as someone who really dislikes any FNAF games other than the first two I think its cool to see people who are passionate about the series talk about it as I always like seeing other perspectives than mine on things such as this.
honestly i can see why you would only like the first 2. They were just games for fun, no bullshit.
As a fnaf fan I only like playing the first 2 as-well, I only follow the lore not play after those lol.
i personally dislike 2, and like all the others so i guess i can't relate
I'll always like the original trilogy. 4 and onwards caused problems :(
Personally, I like Security Breech the best because I have the most fun with it, but I absolutely love the first game, it’s probably the scariest in the series.
I love em'.
*Nightmarionne
Fr
YES

That's actually a really cool way of looking at the Springtrap jumpscare!!
@@creaturetapped Thank you!
At the time i really liked Springtrap for the design and now i still really like him bc of Afton lol
Absolutely agree. The mysteriousness of the nightmares is one of my favourite things about them.
When I first watched gameplays of the game, I found his jumpscare scarier ðan all his counterparts'. It's so… chilling
Fr, withered Bonnie overrated
@@000coolkid9 nah, I like withered Bonnie, extremely unsettling design. I just prefer Mangle and Puppet more because of how "out of place" they are with the rest of the Toy Animatronics.

@@AReallySpookyPybro withered Bonnie still overrated
i think part of what makes the puppet feel different is that.... it's not a animatronic. at least, it MIGHT not be. it's thin, no gears, no nothing, and instead of walking, it floats.

@u know me unlike your father
Who is evan
(Kinda biased by my phobia of vent shafts, but still)
FNAF4 I didn't really enjoy, so I don't think it's fair for me to give an opinion.
Again, thank you for an excellent video Pastra and I look forward to the next!
finally someone favorite is freddy
You bring up a good point about fnaf 1 Freddy that I never considered. I appreciate him much more now. Even if Golden Freddy (or Yellowbear, technically) is still my favorite from the first game.
jesus christ how did you get the time to write this
FNaF 1 Freddy is something else.
Both with how he is presented in the game and how he works. Freddy is a threat, that, once moves, will not go back.
@@Sammy_The_Umbreon YES my KING
(RIght now it's the puppet)
FNaF HW+CoD: Glitchtrap.
Sister location aside, you really do be picking any animatronic other than the main four
Giga monty
How could you. How could you. Mr. Hugs is the best character in the series. He, despite his weakness of no AI or not being possessed (as far as we know) makes an impression on everyone and, with his charming demeanour and constant kindness stands out from the rest of trash and the gang, nay, even shines bright when buried under the mediocre melodies and the rockstars. He is always there for everyone, accepting them with open arms, a true friend. Mr. Hugs may be a bit loud sometimes, even annoying, but he is undeniably an amazing person.
in sb burntrap is the best animatronic fight me
:hogwild:
I would definitely love to see an entire video dedicated to Nightmare. Such an underrated animatronic

The moment she shreds on her guitar in her green room earned that favorite
I also love her makeup and that they kept in how she enjoys her food with a fun mini game too. She's super fun and uncanny at the same time which is great.
I like the call back to Toy Chica when she has no beak, her head looks very similar in shape to toy Chica especially with the missing beak. Unfortunately she doesn't have her signature cup cake.
Finally! Someone gives Nightmare some appreciation.
He’s probably in my top five characters in the series, despite being so simple.
I just wish he becomes more important to the lore if the FNAF plus series goes past the first remake and diverges from the originals.
Nightmare was my favorite of all time by the time of fnaf 4 aswell. It was the first time a character surpassed fnaf 1 Golden Freddy as no.1 for me.
Nobody's favorıte ıs my favorıte plushtrap
Nightmare is frickin epic! First time I saw him my exact quote was “shit! He looks cool!”
Other than that, I agree with your opinions on Springtrap and Giltchtrap, I guess since there wasn’t much competition.
finally, someone else who loves toy bonnie
MY MAN🤝
Let’s taste death again, and again, and *again*
What I love about fnaf's one bonnie the most is the fact that he is always known as the "most aggressive" of the band, because he is the first one to move in most nights of the game and he is the one who usually attacks more times during the night, I just love it because it gives bonnie that "dangerous vibe" to say it like that, like the fact that he is the very first animatronic to attack in the entire game and the first one we actually get to see in person
tbh i think my all time favorite animatronic is Funtime Freddy.
His different personality and whole gimmick with BonBon is so fun.
YES
Plus, Kellen Goff. Need I say more?
@@Hedgee_ no, no you don’t. you have us all convinced
Hes also hella funny
It might sound a touch silly, but I think my favorite animatronic would have to be Sunrise. I can’t quite place why, and I know he and Moon have been criticized for seeming really random in a fnaf game, but I just think he’s neat. When I first saw him in game the thought process was very, “:0! Him! Him when he! Look at him go, funky man!”
Also I love to think that (in the fictional world) whoever designed him and Moon was thinking, “Ah yes. Every individual tooth should be modeled. That won’t bother very small children who typically end up in daycares at all.”
Him when he!!!
Sunrise and Moondrop became instant favourites when I saw them in game

He's just a goofy dude who's trying his best to look after kids. I love him. (Platonically)
She's not that scary though, which loses him some points, ngl.
same, i fell in love with their voice in ucn!

Fucking scary
Edit: NIGHTMARE. MY FAVORITE ANIMATRONIC
Based edit
Agreed
kinda sad no one uses Malhare, it sounds so cool and it's just. Perfect. Like malware. But a hare. Yeah.
It's not a brain tho. It's just part of the Nightmare endo, unfortunatly.
Tho,it does kind of look like a brain.
I love your art style, especially because you can just turn anything and anyone from a game into your style and it looks amazing
wow...I wasn't expecting my suggestion to become an actual video. This was awesome!
It was a great suggestion!
Also, she's ho-
PS: Helpy. He's adorable and hilarious.
HW: Grim Foxy. Since the Halloween update for Fnaf 4, I've always wanted a Jack-o-Foxy design like Bonnie and Chica got, and this delivered. Also his level in the Curse of Dreadbear DLC is the perfect combination of "I can't stop playing" and "I WOULD LIKE TO STOP PLAYING, PLEASE!"
SB: Glamrock Chica. The same reason you like Roxy: she's really ho-
Finally someone that agrees ballora is the best in sl
I like glamrock Chica because her withered design is the scariest In the game to me
I like Glamrock Chica tbh
Ballora is criminally underrated. She has so much wasted potential tho.
I agree with you in some, like with Ballora. I can't complain about G. Chica, its fair enough, but more of a figure you want to be friends with, unlike Roxxane... you want to be best friends with her
I laughed way harder at the low quality pastra who's about to start simping for Roxy.

I thought I was the only happy frog fan. Glad to know there’s others.

Petition for this man to start his own TV series with his art style?
"Hey, little guy!"
In FNAF SB, Monty was definitely my favourite out of them all. He’s just so freaking awesome, from the way he looks to the way he acts. Also, the whole glamrock bonnie situation is pretty interesting. Even if I don’t believe Monty did it.
It’s either Monty OR vanny that did the deed in my opinion
I personally don't believe Monty did it imo.
This is a great way to look at it.
My thoughts on nightmare were exactly the same as yours!
Yeah I always liked the idea that nightmare is basically the embodiment of death
I think my favorite in the series overall is foxy, with his jumpscares, his creepy song, his run,his mechanic everything is such a beautiful work of art
FNAF-Pizza-Sim': Scrap Baby, for the same reasons you went with Withered Bonnie
FNAF-HW: Plush-Babies.
Anyways, my personal favorites from each game would be:
(FNAF1) Bonnie, for many of the reasons you listed and because he's purple.
FINALLY! SOMEONE WHO CALLED MARIONETTE BU THEIR REAL NAME!
Fnaf 1 foxy will always be my favorite. His singing and unique mechanics make it very clear he's different from the rest, plus the save them minigame makes him almost lovable as a protector
FNAF 1 - Freddy Fazbear the great, love the music box stuff when the power goes out, awesome suspense
FNAF 2 - Puppet was a nice change up from the bulkier animatronics, design was on point and story was intriguing
FNAF 3 - Springtrap for lack of other characters, but Springtrap can still be super creepy. Best parts are them trudging slowly across the window or staring at you through the door, knowing you’re cornered
FNAF 4 - The little pixelized Fredbear doll the crying child has. I like the nightmares alright, but they blend together. I like the weird psychic doll, the question of whether it’s actually alive or just an imaginary friend.
Sister Location - Freddy and that stupid little Bonnie hand puppet crack me up
Pizza Sim - I’m least familiar with this one, so not sure. Lefty has a fun design. I also like Candy Cadet.
Help Wanted - Glitchtrap, maybe the most upsetting character in the whole series for me
The Best One - Glamrock Freddy, the bestest friend a superstar could ask for
i love scrap baby so much. just the chaotic mess of parts is so cool to me, it really looks like she clawed as much of her original self out of ennard as possible and scraped up the rest from who knows where.
also i love the wet floor signs in security breach, i just do. its a very simple design but it still looks cute. also it spins when you flash it with the camera or lazer, which i think is fun and also cute.
i forgot to mention sundrop. i love how blissfully unaware they are of their overbearing personality and appearance that definitely frightens kids, but i just like the character because, hes trying his best. a for effort.

That character has been spoiled due to its garbage fandom, lol. “Sunny is a baby bean must protect 🥺”
Underrated? They're a goddamn Tumblr Sexyman!
@@embryjirak3426 yea, I’ve seen way too much sexualization of them on twitter 😰
It's not like I didn't see it coming from a mile away but I'm tired of seeing these guys get sexualised. They have a lot of potential and instead Moon is sexually frustrated and Sun gets bimboficated. I freakin' love their mechanic and them as characters in general (I'm a sucker for those Jekyll/Hyde-esque characters), and besides Freddy, it's nice to have another animatronic as an ally if you think of Sun/Moon as their own individual person.
I really don't think The Daycare Attendent is an underrated character. People seem to appreciate them just fine to me.
the one character i love in fnaf 4 was nightmarionne, even though he was only meant to be a replacement in the Halloween version and was said to be unofficial his design was so unique compared all of the others.his mechanic in ucn was one of the most unique in the game, and the way he and his character were better utilized in help wanted with the tentacles was such an upgrade from the Halloween version.
_"Bon-Bon! Go get 'em!"_
For Pizzeria Simulator, it was super hard.
Finally, a fellow Bonnie enjoyer. You have my like, subscribe, and respect my friend.
He is literally skinner than any other animatronic
@@atanaZion he isn't skinnier than the endos, I don't think
@@darken2185 He is,compare him to Funtime Foxy or Ballora
Good lord, your timing-
I *just* finished rewatching your sister location video right as you uploaded this-
Bonnie is also my favorite FNAF character!! I truly believe that he's so underrated
