I agree, mysteries add something priceless in a garden, it makes it bigger, because it pushed your imaginary beyond the limit of your garden.
I love it with a lot a plants everywhere.
Your pond is beautiful. I could spend my life dreaming in there.
    Thanks for sharing.
And by the way, the beard you have now on a more recent video looks very good on you. It also adds some mystery in you face 😁😀😂. You should keep it.

Absolutely beautiful!!!! I had to sell my farm 5 yrs ago and it has been very depressing not having my beautiful pond. Every since I was born I grew up around water. I am from Melbourne Fl. and Palm Bay area. I lived on the water...Indian River Lagoon, Turkey Creek and the Beach. My brother in law built two gold fish ponds one in the front yard one in the back. I can remember at age 5 swimming around with the fish. At age six I got to experience having to take a bath in a creek my sister lived where there was no indoor plumbing Lol..I was hooked at the beginning of life to water. I have built 3 ponds myself and have set up a couple of hard shell ponds on the porch to ease my pain of not having my big awesome pond anymore. It is so wonderful that you share your beautiful pond with us...It really does help pond depression (😭) to see and hear the water. I can tell you really love what you have. I can also see the emotional attachment you have to your pond. God bless

I love your pond and I am thinking of doing one myself. I have already got the pond dug and all the rocks in as a sunken garden. Think it needs a pond too. Cheers from Oz.

One of my favs for sure. It seems when you have the larger, open spaces, and the more extravagant falls systems is when you need to get into the bigger rocks. You can see streams all over that have hand sized rocks only or even little to no rock.

Oh yeah-da bomb. Exploding with recharging tranquility! Thank you SO much for the Hosta and Cotoneaster tip-I never would have thought Hosta could be semi-aquatic like that, and wouldn't have considered Cotoneaster as an edging plant. As a result, I put Hosta along the edges of my dry riverbed in my brand new rain garden I put in this spring. You'd love how it turned out! 😉 Perch are fabulous fish. Very beautiful and more friendly/less skiddish than Bass-just a tip for the owner. They love to sun themselves in the shallows and it lights up their vibrant aqua spots and lime stripes. 😍 They stay small too, and will befriend the Koi. Pass that along!

I love your Pond Brian & all the cool choices you made with it. Looks gorgeous! Just curious... have you ever filmed your pond Kamp Kenan Style? Where you get to see your pond from the Koi's P.O.V.? That linear edge you felt like was a mistake you wanted to hide, having those plants to break up the edge also provides the fish with some sheltered cover. Oh yeah, & the grill by the back door... Hoo Ya!

Hey Brian, I looked up the correct pronunciation for "Cottoneaster", You seem to like the British version, the American pronunciation is Cotton Easter. Just so's ya know. I guess it's totally up to you, but, it sounds weird to me, as I've always heard it pronounced the American way. Here's a place with both versions in audio at the top of the page. www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=what+is+the+correct+pronunciation+for+cotoneaseter%3F

Takes up alot of space wherein you could have a food forest with a ton of food producing trees and gardens
Seems wasteful to me and doesn't that running water make you wanna scream after awhile? Shut up! Enough already! Jus sayin.
