using ladder to make first cut on log with Alaskan chainsaw mill

Why the ladder? The ladder is there to start the first cut. You need a flat surface to make the first cut and this is a great option. Once done, you can set your mill to your desired thickness and make slabs!!
The mill and chain used are from @granberginternational . The chain is a skip rip chain. It gave smooth fast cuts. I totally recommend them.
