I dont know much about maintiaing the suits (ive never had one so i find this intresting) but i wouldve though it would be too delecate to put in the washing machine. i though it wouldve been more of a gentel hand wash thing

It's possible that your washer does not do this, but many are designed to be energy friendly with your dryer, so they do most of the water wringing for you. This is to make your dryer do less work, as it uses WAY more electricity. If you tub wash, absolutely do not hang it, but machine washing is normally fine to hang after. I personally recommend feeling the backing. If you are wet after touching it, it's not ok to hang. If your hand comes away dry, even if the suit is slightly damp, you can hang it. I'm able to hang my suits after washing, unless they have padding. That I either machine dry on my no heat setting, since I've tested it out, or let dry out draped on a tote or other suspended surface.

Great advice! I think my machine slightly spins the suit, so you're right, I probably would've been fine with hanging it up. I just wanted to play it safe and show a few tips on how to dry the suit. I was even debating on putting the paws in the washing machine and only gently spin them for a short period (since they retain so much water and were the hardest to dry).
I didn't go into the drier topic because I've heard from others that too often mistakes happen. People forget to set the drier to "NO HEAT" and ruin their expensive suit. So it seemed better to me to not suggest using the drier. But I agree with you, if you know what you're doing and double-check the settings then you're good.
Do you put the flipped suit into the drier? Because otherwise that could damage the fur too - no?
