That's my brother, Henry Ptak in the first pic (thumbnail) on the top. He played keys for AoT for a while in the early 80s. I was there for quite a few shows helping to lug all the gear for everyone (my brother brought me to the gigs when I was about 14 or 15 yrs old). I used to help Rick set up his drums, too... Hitsville, The Showplace (in Dover), WFMU live radio broadcast, Montclair State College Battle of the Bands, etc. Yeah, I remember a lot of them -- great memories. I remember we used to walk around The Village handing out flyers trying to get people to come to the shows. My brother has fond memories of working with Gerry, Pete & Rick. Do you have an audio copy of the Montclair Battle of the Bands performance? I remember that was a killer set. I think they won that night, too.......R.I.P., Gerry. Get in touch w/ me on Facebook, if you like. Cheers!
