From a moral standpoint it‘s absolutely signing players as a monetary investment, don‘t playing them/loaning them out, just to make a quick buck a season later.
One thing I would like to see FM put in is if you delegate too much and if you holiday too much, you’ll return from holiday to an email from your owners sacking you saying “We noticed that you have went on holiday for x amount of time in x months as well as you’re delegating to your assistant manager most of your duties. With this in mind we have decided to appoint him to the full time manager position. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors” and now you’re unemployed
I think that would be great but only if they add a way to play with that style I've always wanted to do a director of football role where I buy the players but another manager is the one who picks the teams etc Naturally this would be uber hard to balance but I like having the more hands-off playstyles being available but it'd be a good idea if they added something like you mentioned :)
@@MrAnonymoss I know that is not what FM is made for and they deny they will do something like that. Unfortunately. Because I would love go from ass man to manager and go around and change roles
Worst habit of FM22 is ignoring the data hub, especially when the team is winning. I just assume if we're winning, nothing needs to be fixed so I don't bother analyzing my team's data.
Data Hub is limited, I regularly switch between 3 different tactics however the Data Hub cannot split the data out by each tactic so the information is difficult to use. Data Hub needs splitting out clearly by individual tactics.
@@stevemc1983 That is certainly true. I sometimes switch tactics and even formations within a game. I use it as a guide more than anything. It also helps in evaluating individual player performance, if they appear in the various player screens of the data hub. I think they have to play regularly for that though, so it doesn't help much when looking at backups and youngsters. But, t's more data than we've ever had before. SI will keep improving it I hope.
Asking assistant to do op instructions isn't a bad place to start IF they have the attributes. Look at what they did see if you can see why. Also, be mindful of the player you're asking to do the job. Can They do what you're asking? You were talking about "if I tight mark, will that leave space" that's the right kind of question. What space? Then, who can exploit it and how. Then, how can you stop that. A bit like how a snooker player things a few shots ahead. Does the data say the team is shit at crossing? Well would you want to force them inside onto a weaker foot if they can't cross with the strong one? Would it be better to leave that blank and force them outside and you mop up the crosses? Are your players good enough in the air and with positioning to do that? Have they got a player in the centre who can long range shoot or do a really good long range pass? Could you close him down leaving the BWM more open as he's less creative? Take a couple key points from the scouting and data then look at each opposition player one at a time. Works for me generally but I'm probably an average player.
Sometimes yes sometimes no. Ratings are just a guideline, you can usually say B and up is good and D and under is bad, but the Cs you gotta look into yourself. How well do they fit what you want them to do on the pitch? What are their hidden atributes? What’s the fee and expected wage and what are the comparable options? A C+ that’s home grown and a perfect fit for what you want on the pitch that is very consistent and loves big matches and below average injury prone is a world of difference from a C+ player that doesn’t have a great positional fit and doesn’t fit the role you want them to play and is inconsistent and injury prone and hates big matches and wants to be paid an arm and a leg. I usually consider B and up as “probably” D and under as “no thanks” and C as “maybe”. Remember that the ratings are just one scout’s opinion, and that opinion is only as good as the scout giving it. A different scout could give a higher or lower rating. Even if the person giving the report is a good talent evaluator, they’re giving their judgement, maybe you look for something different. For example my tactic is really demanding on my wingbacks, so I always look for high stamina and work rate at that position. Even if I got an A rating on a fullback if he’s got bad stamina I might think twice about buying him, cause he might not be able to do what I expect from the position.
Love the videos usually but one way to kill a “don’t do this video” is say “don’t do this” but then follow it up by saying you don’t even do the thing you want viewers to do. 🤷🏻♂️
Everytime my coach suggests praising a player, the is like "you what mate what you talking about" which leads to me having to take back the praise so their morale doesnt dip 🤣
Going on holiday to the next match too much is my worst FM habit I think lol, these days I can only play FM for 1 hour or fewer so I skip everything except the matchday.
I hate watching people that say there going to win the champions league and win it that season bollocks and always go on holiday and there bank balance is huge must be using the editor I’ve always got a huge list of players I want
lets be honest team talks and talk to players don't make sense half the time and from my experience players get not angry but upset because the options sucks and can't type what you want in fm yet which somehow is not a feature, i always go on holiday lol
i disagree. team talks works wonders. i always choose disappointing talks and the players respond fired up. also your preset motivation needs to be high.
What is your worst FM habit? Let me know below!
Signing Haaland at every possible opportunity
From a moral standpoint it‘s absolutely signing players as a monetary investment, don‘t playing them/loaning them out, just to make a quick buck a season later.
Gameplay-wise it‘s avoiding players with neutral personalities like the plague and play the weaker „Professional“ guy.
sign players on free transfer and sell them next season on a profit later.
Loan a lot of wonderkids for 0 costs and play them. Great on relegation battling team. Once i manage Brighton and finished the season on top 5.
The opposition instructions tip is very useful… Rhys said “it’s probably the ego that my tactics is good enough” 😂😂 I’m guilty of that too

I don’t even know how to use data hub man 🤕🤕

Unless you're like my save at the moment and you're massively ahead of everyone else in the league on the datahub 😬
Lazy tactics, non existent man management and excessive holidays.... basically the Steve Bruce guide to football management
😂

Which logo pack are you using? Can see you have Man U s logo. I Cant find a logo pack where it is.
Hi Jeppe. Head on over to my channel, I’ve done a video on it :)
Just add the man u logo to pack ur using
I need to start scouting proper wingbacks
Can someone explain the signing ratings? Would it be wise to sign someone who is a C+?

What should I do with the infinite staff suggestions in the meeting?
agree or ignore them.
great music for this video btw

Don’t agree with the team cohesion etc being important because there wouldn’t be a game breaking bug happening if it was that important 👍🏾
I now in the old fm you seem to do beter when you take the team talk and interview
being tactically aware
You should add "whispering into my mic" as a bad habit you should avoid...
Too quiet? Noted! Thanks
@@fmscout agree. a little bit louder please.

Rhys whats your save?

Is it just me but that background music is so annoying with flutes and stuff...
its just you.
yeah it's just you. seems okay to me.
nah, got to avoid player interaction - the unexpected consequences are nonsensical
you shouldn't. it increase morale.

How does this guy get on fm scout 🤦🏻♂️😂 buy afew players and then go on holiday? Have you even played the game for the last 2 years?
i was thinking that's not really a bad habit that's just not playing the game
5th!
