Every time I watch a live video by these guys, I'm more and more inclined to respond with "Clutch" as my answer to the age old query of "Favorite Band?" Every live show of theirs I've been to has been magical.
Where my old school Clutch fans at? I've been a fan since the early nineties. Went to see them with Sepultura for the first time on their Chaos AD tour. Amazing. Seen them several times since too. Just amazing. As they have aged with me, their sound has definitely changed several times but.... IMO, no better or worse. It's Clutch baby
Awesome that TV and movies are introducing us to so many great musicians we've never heard before! This extraordinary combo of bluegrass, metal, and heartfelt passion in the lead singer's voice along with a creative, engaging band drew me to look them up on U-Tube right away after watching the WD marathon.
Outstanding song by an amazing band. They have ungodly talent and skills, creative and interesting lyrics, and bring the best they have to every album and performance. They have made me proud to be an insane, lead footed, southern boy. I have to have my Pro-Rock Fury.
Thanks, but I did shoot this. I've been working on them for a few years now. The DVD is coming...not sure if I'll have a part of it, but it is def' in the works.
im going to see them tonight in orlando FL, at the house of blues, saw them there about 6 months ago and they were awesome. The singer was out with a voice problem, but they still rocked!
First time i saw them they open for C.O.C. in Baltimore....Like maybe 1992 or 93. Didn't know who they were then but they rocked....they played the theme to Fat Albert and it was sick! LOL. Been a fan ever since! PURE ROCK FURY!
i had never heard of these guys until i seen em hosting "rage" a music video show we have here down under on tv....they were the guest programmers and i was lucky enuf to catch their electric worry video.....glad i fuckin did!!!! cant get enuf of these guys...have downloaded most of their albums and love em all....would love to see them live which is probly what they were doing here on aussie tv, promoing a tour or something....be a prick if i missed em
I fucking love these guys. Saw em in Milwaukee a few days ago and during The Devil and Me some guy in a wheelchair was crowd surfing. Best moment of my life.
They did this song @ bonnaroo during the acoustic set they did. It was badass! They played 3 sets at bonnaroo 2010(if you count the set as the bakerton group) Clutch was the best band there! One of my all time favorites!
@Zas379 That's a tough call, but you can't go wrong with 'Blast Tyrant' or the self-titled album. 'Elephant Riders' and 'Robot Hive/Exodus' are personal favorites, but every Clutch album is my favorite while I'm listening to it.
darthukas...I am a lady and this music is pure Ecstasy!! Keep an open mind and point out the lyrics and lead guitar to your girl make her relax and just drink it in and she will flow!! Guaranteed!
Clutch and Ditch, two bands that aren't recognized enough for their unique music, but then again, they arent' commercialized and exploiting everybody, (idk) probably why I like them so much.
Ive been a clutch fan for many a years, and when i got the news letter from the band about being on walking dead i was so amazed.. i was however a little dissapointed it was only a cut at the end.. should have been this song all threw the episode. or a half dozen of there other equally spectacular songs.
Come back to Dublin, Ireland Dudes, its off the beaten track but theres a fan base here, Brant Bjork and Bros passed thru last week, got vids up for those interested..
@telemov from beale st. to oblivion has some gold on it too! that Sabbath'y riff they break into half way through power player might be my favorite clutch moment ever....MIGHT be (its a daily thing;)
@bowes78 They're from Maryland. They've been together since the early 90s. Their most well-received albums are Elephant Riders, Blast Tyrant, Robot Hive: Exodus, and their Self-Titled. To get a good idea of their style, check out the songs "The Yeti", "Gravel Road", and "Big News I"
these guys are my favorite band, i own a 80 acre campground in lisbon oh,im gonna try to start clutchfest at...im working on it now...i fuckin love these guys !
Interesting... I always thought that Neil's beard was the source of his power. However, as this live video has demonstrated, he kicks just as much as sans beard.
CLUTCH FUCKIN RULES!!! probably the only band i know that is stictly about the music!! no mainstream bullshit and i don't think you will ever hear them on the radio. anyone that knows them knows them from someone else putting it on for them, except for a few songs in soundtracks for games and movies, and 9 out of 10 ppl fall in love!! keep it up, can't wait for the next album!!! U NEED TO TOUR IN CANADA!!! without black label this time.
That front man sounds EXACTLY like Neil Fallon.
Truly remarkable.
walking dead and clutch when it sounded on the show it was soo perfect damn man bad ass in indeed
Dude has always had such an enormous voice, not to mention groovy riffs. Can always dig it.

“I hear Nebraska’s nice” -Rick grimes
“Nebraska this guy” - Dave

Listen closely and you can hear the guitar speak. This is amazing. This has put my faith back into music.

discovered this band and song because of Walking Dead. Just another reason this show rocks. Fricken SICK music scene pairing!!!!
I love the intensity brought to life as soon as the chorus kicks in, it's like the unleashing of the Kraken.
And this was the last time anybody saw Neils face...

Good music..they're coming to town, good musics...good music, I'm just glad they're getting recognition.
First time i saw them they open for C.O.C. in Baltimore....Like maybe 1992 or 93. Didn't know who they were then but they rocked....they played the theme to Fat Albert and it was sick! LOL. Been a fan ever since! PURE ROCK FURY!

I can't agree more, this sound makes them stand head and shoulders above in my mind.
I fucking love these guys. Saw em in Milwaukee a few days ago and during The Devil and Me some guy in a wheelchair was crowd surfing. Best moment of my life.

Like Marlon Brando... but bigger!
Not yet. A Live DVD has been talked about for ages by Clutch but they still haven't delivered the goods! Maybe sometime in 2008 if we are lucky :)

Thank you! I knew I heard it somewhere because it sounded familiar, now I remember where! :)
Clutch and Ditch, two bands that aren't recognized enough for their unique music, but then again, they arent' commercialized and exploiting everybody, (idk) probably why I like them so much.
that was a kickass concert, I was there. Good times!
I like this more than the album version. It's amazing.
Ive been a clutch fan for many a years, and when i got the news letter from the band about being on walking dead i was so amazed.. i was however a little dissapointed it was only a cut at the end.. should have been this song all threw the episode. or a half dozen of there other equally spectacular songs.
i cant wait to see them tomorrow night!!
Just realized Neil, you look so much more intense without a beard...and I love beards. Great song, great execution, love it!
Awesome. Great tune. Great Video.
@telemov I second this suggestion, they are all stellar and unique albums.
Come back to Dublin, Ireland Dudes, its off the beaten track but theres a fan base here, Brant Bjork and Bros passed thru last week, got vids up for those interested..
Damn they can rock it. Wish I could see em in concert.
@telemov from beale st. to oblivion has some gold on it too! that Sabbath'y riff they break into half way through power player might be my favorite clutch moment ever....MIGHT be (its a daily thing;)

Neil should never be allowed to shave again.
The Burning Beard is What Makes Niel now, i dont know what id do if he did!
I HAVE COME UNDONE.
no one should ever shave again.
His face claim for a beard. I could ask him to divorce if he shaves xD

These guys rocks.. Neil is very strong, is a fuckin' kickin'ass rocker!! Like them so much!!
Neil Fallon is my man... I LOVE YOU NEIL!!!! i had a great time meeting back up with you at yur last show!! :)

Interesting... I always thought that Neil's beard was the source of his power. However, as this live video has demonstrated, he kicks just as much as sans beard.

Could be mistaken but I get a sense of stonedness going on here, judging by the eyes. And all the better for it. :-)
