Makes me wonder what the heck went wrong with Kobe's 76...those are usually epic helicopters....hoping the NTSB figures it out and soon.

I wonder if black hawks were used in Vietnam would the outcome of the war be different? Or the helicopter had nothing to do with us pulling out? Thousands of helicopters were shot down.. around 5600.The black hawk concept is as old as Vietnam war itself.Plans for the black hawk started in 1972.Actually the black hawk was the helicopter that replaced the UH-1 Iroquois AKA ( Huey’s)
The Blackhawk is a much better helicopter than the Huey. This is nothing against the Huey because the Huey is one of the greatest helicopters of all time, is an American icon, and did its job in Vietnam. But the Blackhawk is bigger, faster, WAY more durable, more maneuverable, has more power and the list keeps going on. This is no fault to the Huey, because it was built with what technology they had at the time. Even the UH-60A from the 70's is very outdated compared to the Lima and Mike models of today. Lima's and Mike's are even more durable and powerful than the Alpha models.
