One of my favorite things about Octo Expansion is that the Agent 3 boss battle is literally fighting YOURSELF. You played as 3 in the first Splatoon, so both times you fight 3 in Octo, that's you fighting yourself from 2015.

This remix specifically means so much to me, 4 or 5 years ago I was in a deep hyper fixation with splatoon, and being into remixes at the time I found this remix and I listened to it all the time, to me it was the best remix of anything ever, it was so cool. But after I started to drift away from splatoon, I stopped listening to this remix. And even after 3 came out, I basically forgot about this. Then recently I relistened to it, and when I say nostalgia hit like a brick, I’m under exaggerating it. It was more than nostalgia, listening to this again reminded me why I was happy, how I was happy, when splatoon 2 took over my life. So again, thank you. I mean it when I say this song changed my life, it’s not just a silly joke. This remix is fire.
