It's nice to see Ballislife finally showing Long Island Lutheran, some love but they won't win NYSHSAA AA Federation tournament . Last season NYSHSAA Public school AA runner-up Brentwood has the same team from last season . The Brentwood Indians only lost this season come by 1 point hook shot at half-court (Boys & Girls high) Brooklyn . The game was ironically played at LI Lutheran few months back . It doesn't matter who wins NYC public championship or state Catholic champ , Independent champ Lutheran . Brentwood will beat them easily and the other teams have no answers for Brentwood‘s Alan Houston . Lutheran‘s Zed Keys use to play for Brentwood high .

The Patrick School has NBA size team with 2 players 6'11, another 6'10 and 6,'9 . Also, 6'5 shooting guard . Most high school teams would be glad to have 1 guy over 6'3. They should reach the finals of New Jersey tournament of Champions. Only Camden and Dejuan Wagner JR standing in there way TOC playoffs. Most private schools with this much size are not allowed to participate there state tournaments like ( IMG, Mounvade, Oak Hill Academy, Our Savior Lutheran, Our New America). Nassau county would not allow Catholic schools or most independent private schools to play in county public league. There two exceptions to the rule ( The Wheatley School and Friends Academy ) I guess because they don't recruit. Long Island Lutheran applying for membership and was turned down. In New York state there Independent championship for private schools who don't reclassified students. Since Long island Lutheran is the largest independent school In NY state they automatically gets bid to NYSHSAA federation AA tournament finale 4 without play a game, while the other champs like City ps champ, state Catholic, NYSHSAA Public Champ downstate VS. upstate, all the other team will have to win their own tournament just to get to the state federation tournament . While Long Island Lutheran gets automatic 4 final bid in federation tournament without playing any playoffs games just winning regular season that all they need to qualify . 20 yrs in a row Luhi . The other teams the played at least five playoffs games and win their championships to get to final 4 and face well rested Long Island Lutheran team. 😨
