I have the exact same bike (in red) and have done this exact job. As I was watching the video, I was thinking to myself: "He sure has a lot of faith that everything in the carb is okay by putting the leg shield back on". At least you don't have an ill-fitting aftermarket between-your-knees rack to contend with every time you take the leg shield off like I do. One mistake I made was to leave an extra foot of hose coiled up under the tank to make tank removal easier. Despite purging, air got trapped in the coiled hose and the bike would run out of gas unless the tank was nearly full. I wound up cutting out the extra hose. I also stuffed a piece of heater hose around the two gas lines where they pass through the frame. The frame metal where the hole is punched for the gas lines was quite sharp on mine, and I was afraid it could slice through the gas hose(s). Going to "Part 2" now...I can't wait to see if your carb was as bad as mine after the previous owner let it sit with gas in it, and the petcock open, for 5 years.

On the fuel on off switch is the top line the main or the reserve?

Looks like the bottom one is the reserve
