- Damned 4 is the 4th version of the Aether Zombies Theme song for Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII Zombies.
This track has evolved since Kevin composed the first version back in 2009. (Has it really been that long?!), with each version bringing its own vibe to the mode.

ChrisPlays should’ve been a feature at launch same as Newton’s cookbook lol they did some good things towards the end of Bo3 but they didn’t carry over for some reason

There seems to be a hint of every version of damned in this. The echoey sound from bo2, the vocals/breathing? from bo3, and a bit of the very original from bo1

Damned Evolution
BO1: A perfect song that captures the mood and setting for each map in the game including the remasters.
BO2: Like the game mode the song evolves and becomes more fleshed out with its extra beats and sounds.
BO3: After being missing for years hearing this song evokes a sense of seriousness, as the story progressively gets more fleshed out.
BO4: After the other story…hearing this put the hype train back and allowed for a even better sense of nostalgia.
BOCW: A breath of fresh air and return to form.
CODV: I don’t need to really explain, this rendition is just amazing and sends chills with the violin.

BO4 is my favorite. It just sounds fuckin intense and like shits about to go down.

Those chords at 3:00 really are a tear jerker. It’s all about to end. Years of story and hunting for Easter eggs with my friends and just plain having fun with zombies are gonna come to what I hope is a satisfying and sad conclusion. I love this community so much, it has brought me many years of happiness. And as Dempsey would say... “Ooh-rah.”

I believe Aether is getting a reboot in story, like kinda like Victis(Transit crew) minus the whole WaW backstory or well Ultimus/Primis/Etc. Just 115 and zombies etc will be reused and story context

The reason Alistair's Theme played because the first few DLC maps were Chaos. Since Aether is making a return, the theme switched to Damned 4. KEEP IT THAT WAY

Once again, thank you so much for this music, I hope you know how important it is to some of us to have a "soundtrack" to our lives. I've been a fan since Bo1 and I loved the music in Bo4, especially gems like "Avogadro" and "Frequency". Keep up the great work!

I feel sorry for you guys. You've done such exceptional work, and then the rest of the game is marred by rushing and budget cuts. They didn't even bother putting a boss fight into the last map, or rendering a 3d cutscene. For the end of the Aether storyline, you'd think they would try their hardest just to get some closure.
They did try their best. Unfortunately, Activision has little need for art.
It really does suck. This game has one of the best soundtracks for a black ops game.
I find it cool that the dammed versions for each black ops title perfectly reflects how much has changed from Black Ops in terms of gameplay
Damned/Black Ops: The original, very little, its basic, but creepy and nearly timeless
Damned 2/Black Ops II: Took the original and did a light remix, removing some of the creepiness but left just a bit in to get that same zombies feel
Damned 3/Black Ops III: Soft reboot, keeps the original zombies feel but makes it more elegant and epic
Damned 4/ Black Ops IIII: Total reboot, almost a totally different song/game other than its references to previous titles
Aleksandria Kirkland bo4 resembles the older ones way more than the bo3 theme did

Total masterpiece right here. Period. I just really like the tone and rhythm of it.
This is still the best one to me. Combines the classic piano with the choral mastery of bo3. Cold War just doesn't hold a candle to this.

Tbh this sounds like an ending to an era, but if you listen to it you can almost hear how should I say a theme of looking back or of things returning, perhaps we will hear this in cold war, when any of the characters find out about everything that happened, and this will play reminding us of what happened and what was

2:10 all I can hear is Nikolai giving a speech about there predicament and how after all they have done they cannot fail now surviving countless timelines and trials
Personally my favorite version of Damned. BO4 May Not have been the best Zombies Game, but god damn it had some amazing soundtracks.
