In Alien game universe, there's an alien playing this same game where he is the player and you with the torch is the enemy. Alien was just saving the game.
Bro, the worst thing is when you're on one of the longer, difficult missions then it hauls ass and kills you just before that final beep when you can't move. They actually made saving stressful on top of everything else
Gonna burst your bubble here. The alien just saw a glimpse of the player when it dropped down. That's why it got aggressive. You can see it looking at the player for a moment before charging over. It wasn't cuz he saved the game. Still terrifying though
One time, right after I saved, the alien came into the room I was in and I hid under a desk. Somehow, it went slightly to the left and clipped through the desk, the tail touched me and I got caught. I would’ve been so mad if that actually cost me progress
I remember being in an area early in the game and this was at the transit before medical. Keep in mind I wasn't aware of it being a self learning AI. After I used the save station the Xenomorph stabbed me in the back
This just goes to show how fair the AI is. I noticed that it would come out for me at the exact same spot when I'd save, but I would always hide behind the wall behind the ladder. It would always prowl closely along the sides of it, but it would never look behind and spot me. I see in your video that you hid on the opposite side instead and it looked away from you. Seems like the alien is programmed to skirt juuuust past your location to a certain degree, if you're hiding
I was laughing the entire time after it showed up. I was honestly wondering if it would have destroyed that machine if it could have 😂. Awesome Video among the best I have ever seen of this game.
Thats funny, im at that exact spot right now, trying to get the second generator on in nightmare mode, the same thing happened to me, fucking thing dropped right behind me😂😂luv this game❤
This was a scripted jumpscare. After doing the machine thingy, whichever direction you go toward Xeno always jump down from one of the holes above and run toward your location.
This is my least favorite save spot. Every time I was there I felt certain the xenomorph would show up any second! One could say the save spots in the nest level are scarier, but I love those because that whole nest level is so terrifying the save spots become the only form of security anywhere.
