Great looking market town (I'm a sucker for castles). When you were by the walls looking down at the Swale, Wainwright's Coast to Coast crosses that bridge and goes along the river past the football field. Imagine the views of the castle from there? I've gotta do that walk one day.... Another good video, thanks!

Richmond is a beautiful place, but I have a question: Why does the river water look like blood?
Hmmm, not sure why the river is the colour it is..
it is peat from the moors, after heavy rains water the drinking water sometimes was brown.
What mineral is it in the water that turns it such a rusty - orange color? And is it like that all the time, or only during certain seasons?
I am afraid I have no idea why it's that colour and I would say it is like that pretty much all the time 😊👍

Hi Clark It is about 240 Miles.. This is a town and not to be mistaken for Richmond Park, which is about 10 miles from Central London 😊👍

Why is the water brown ?did they have a rain storm.
Not to sure why really, there had been a lot of rain at the time, but I believe the water is always that colour.
it is from the peat from the moors, after a heavy rain all that river area can flood.
