I would beg to differ on the First Hypercar ............ McLaren F1 was/is the First Hypercar. No Disrespect Please. I Love the Enzo and have seen several, I have never seen an F1.
Go a little further back. The Porsche 959 could be called the first hypercar. Tech, exotic materials, 200 mph +. Even now with upgraded turbos these cars can hit 215+ MPH. This is without changing the stock internals. If you change the internals, then sky's the limit.
Nice format, I like this quick video approach, all the key points, no nonsense....Great stuff, the Enzo is not on my bucket list, thats reserved for the 288, but its still an important car in the lineage...
I consider it a super car, it is amazing both in design and engine, despite the years it had a lot of technology. Excellent video. Greetings from Spain
I think you pretty much nailed the definition of "hypercard." But I've always sort of thought that extreme horsepower numbers belonged in there too. Today there are so many cars at or over $1 million new that the number may need adjusting for inflation
IMHO the moniker 'hypercar' really no longer makes sense and is now really only about super exclusivity and astronomic prices . There are plenty of higher performance cars today that can leave an Enzo for dead for a fraction of the price so in the end it's all bragging rights and speculation for the ultra rich. Nice Ferrari though!
FYI: As Enzo's and La Ferrari's are totalled by owners around the world, Modena has been known to obtain the damaged vehicles, then make a new one with the totalled VIN number. It's estimated that 23+ cars have been resurrected.
According to VIN Wiki, Ferrari built a lot more than 400 examples of the Enzo. The Venturi 400GT was the first production road car to feature carbon ceramic brakes. As for the question about hypercars? I say, only cars that can go over 230 mph, should be given that title - Enzo tops out at 217.
As I mentioned before… her presentation is very classy and correct… people need to cut out the UA-cam hyper culture of -I can comment on anything- this girl is sharp guys ok. Her attire is always fun and correct….”Maranello’s Clos du Mesnil” is what you see here on her…. Who Cares? That the Mc Laren F1 was the first hyper car? Look at those curves and eyes ok? She is simple to the point and very… very Elegant… she makes that car what it is visually. The race track? Thats another video I guess. Also .. look at the details in the Scudetto on flanks… the wheel center locks…. The Engine Cover… the rear grille mesh board… the center piece on the steering wheel… versus the Cavallino on the bonnet. Lower leg on horse? The hoof rests down non canted on bonnet emblem versus the rest. Thus a pre 2004 Cavallino with a post 2004 Cavallino.-Ok. Very well shot video with great angles… clean contrasts… this one and the one she did on Mr. David Piper are simply just awesome work-- and she’s hot. What else you guys want?
Colleen, i would have to challenge you on your statement, that the Enzo was the first streetcar to have ceramic brakes. It's not coorrect, it was the first Ferrari streetcar to have ceramic brakes. The first streetcar to have ceramic brakes was the Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG F1 Edition in the year 2000.
The Ferrari Enzo is my ultimate dream car 🥰, but it’s not hyper car. A hyper car would be something like the Aston Martin Valkyrie 😉….having said that, I’d still take the Enzo over any hyper car today 😌
@@NextGenClassics Back when it was released, it was absolutely a hyper car….by today’s hyper car definition 🤔….agree to disagree 🙂. Love the new YT channel 🥰
It's really hard to say what the first hyper car was. It might be the 250 GTO or even the Duesenberg Model J. Even though it wasn't really intended for extreme performance that Duesenberg was like nothing the world had ever seen before. Despite being built in very limited numbers you can also make a case for the Vector W8.
Why does she always stand like she is trying to squeeze out a huge log whilst her feet are glued to the floor! It is well known that Ferrari built over 500 examples.
Miura was the first supercar maybe but not the first hyper. It’s fair to say that the first was the og holy trinity of the Enzo, CGT and SLR. You can also say the Veyron was perhaps the first hyper.
I would beg to differ on the First Hypercar ............ McLaren F1 was/is the First Hypercar. No Disrespect Please. I Love the Enzo and have seen several, I have never seen an F1.
I agree, It more than meets the criteria for a hypercar.
Definitely a valid argument

All of them are supercars, hypercar is not an real thing.
All 12 of them? Hard to call them a real manufacturer of road going cars.
The production value of your videos are phenomenal and your knowledge of cars is over the top. I look forward to every one of your videos.
Thank you!
Yeah but her fashion sense needs work.

I remember the 1980's RUF Yellow Bird. It should have been called a hyper car, due to its high revving engines, and performance.🥰
Underrated car for sure
Wow, best film yet IMHO. Cinematography, B-roll, music selection.
Greatly enjoyed that! Thanks😊
I consider it a super car, it is amazing both in design and engine, despite the years it had a lot of technology. Excellent video. Greetings from Spain
Excellent video and excellent car 😎
great video 👏 love the car and the details

Horsepower is definitely part of it! But then again so many cars today are very high horsepower. Maybe power to weight ratio?
@@NextGenClassics the bar Deffinitely gets higher each year
The greatest car ever! Love it!❤️ Thank you, Colleen!

Great video, but man those bell bottoms are distracting as hell lol.
But...the Enzo...

beautifull video ,amazing The Enzo , i see they not go easy on the bumps 😊but its made to be driven
Previous owner did a thing
Have always loved the Enzo!
Doesn't look as good as 288 GTO F40 F50 engine awesome
How do you put a license plate holder on the front?
You don't 😆

McLaren F1 went 241 in early '90's
Just talking about what Ferrari reports for production numbers, but we know the truth!
IMO the SP3 Daytona is the true successor of the Enzo. They are both NA V12 F140 engine without battery.
It’s the perfect color for this car. I can’t wait to get one for my collection. Well, that’s not happening since it’s well out of my price range.

The frrst hypercar was the 288 GTO!!
I mean kinda
No its a supercar.
Non street legal, 1969, Ford Gt. Street legal, I’d have to say, Enzo. But anything near this performance level is elite.

knowledge dropped by a bomb shell! beautiful woman and beautiful car! great video, would've loved to see more of the inside of the enzo though!
We had to edit those parts out..next time!
The Enzo is bad ass , like Colleen SheeHan is LOL
Appreciate it!
Q hermoso les quedo mi super auto de ensueño 😊

Crazy cool thing Ferrari did
You mean McLaren F1 right....
Definitely a super car, but don’t think it’s a hyper car
Definitely is!
Black rims? Naaaah 😅
At least they can change if the new owner wants to!
I love that

I think the oneupmanship of elite car snobbery is pretty dumd. There are Sport cars and race cars.
✨💯✨
My Opinion is the Enzo is the GOAT !!
WHat is this bullshit. The first hypercar was the Miura.
