What's better than a winter weekend together in our house out east....not much. We don't get out there enough in the off season, well not as frequently as we'd like to. It used to be much easier but seems like there's a kids bday party every weekend for classmates etc. Not mad at it, but we'll take a free weekend when we can!
We've been updating our house; home office, granny suite and this infrared sauna from Clearlight which is unreal. The Clearlight Suana paired with the Plunge cold plunge tub....slowly becoming paradise over here.
We got sick and it helped knock it out for sure.
Also shout out to our Land Rover Defender, been the best family car for us. Much better than the sport back Mercedes we had before and the whole fam is loving it. Preston even calling out every other one he see's on the road.
More to come, but parenting is at an all time high after this weekend.

Over the years I've seen you guys making all these renovations your house in the Hamptons and I suspect you'll eventually be out there the majority of the time and spend minimal time in the city. House looks awesome.

Preston is correct in asking his dad about whether or not they would crash into the trees while tobogganing. Good for him! That is a reality so hopefully he will be risk-averse when he gets older!

I adore New Zealand having grown up in New Zealand and parents brought me to England but NZ has a very special place in my heart and miss it so.
Here in the US, sleds and toboggans are two separate things. Sleds have two metal glider rails on their underside and toboggans are long wooden boards connected together that curve upward in the front. You cute Canadian. We also have blueberries and maple syrup here too.
What a wonderful young man Preston is becoming. Love the new design, can’t wait to see how it all comes together.
That’s so funny I live in Buffalo NY and we call toboggans the actual type of sled with the part that has the loop at the end of your feet and the one you have a regular sled.
Same here & I grew up in NJ. Sleds were Flexiable Flyers
Quite clear that Preston and Claude will definitely understand how to make plans in any situation as they become older.

You get those big shells on the beach. Office is fantastic and new rooms below. When will you stop? Feel you are there now. What happened to the deck? Are you renewing it?

Health is our wealth, so true, we have to invest in our wellbeing.Your sauna with the infra red looks amazing. Check out grounding, sounds woo woo but is actually really interesting. I have been severely anaemic for years and a few weeks ago had a hysterectomy and I feel incredible!! I am your age BF and alll about everything that helps boost my vitality. House looks incredible.
