How does it work with copyright and such? What are you allowed to use to sell and what are you not?
You can use free elements, text, etc to create designs. You can’t just keep them as standalone items and sell them. There’s way more to it lol but check out Canva’s terms www.canva.com/licensing-explained/
Could you group the text and tab so you could link them together rather than separately?
I wish! I had tried to do that but only the text linked to the appropriate page and not the tab.
This was a great video and helpful. I created a journal to use for 30 days. It has 2 sheets per day. So that's 60 sheets. I'm new to this and still learning. I labeled each page with just the page number. Would I link each page to a tab or just the odd pages? Thank you.

Hi! This was a great tutorial. I'm trying to come up with a lead magnet for my website. I sell stationery, notecards, wax seals, and wrapping paper. I want to create something I can give to my customers to help them keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Is it possible to give them a link if they sign up with their email address? I'm hoping you can give me some ideas for this. Thanks so much!!
Hi! Thanks! It would probably be better to send your customers an actual file, like a pdf, so they can print it/use it however it’s intended. Hope this helps :)
Thank you for this. Is there a reason a lot of planners are more specific? Like you did just monthly others have just daily, and just weekly etc. I haven't found a planner that has all 3. And I don't know why. Do you?

Hi! You're welcome! You can make the size 8.5" x 11" for portrait orientation or 11" x 8.5" for landscape orientation. Hope this helps :)

How would this work with merging pdfs please ? Should I merge pdfs first & then hyperlink ? Or Hyperlink first? I’m merging becuase I want more than 300 pages in my planner
I am not too sure but I would probably merge first and then hyperlink (if that's allowed). If you hyperlink each document separately there could potentially be 2 hyperlinks to 1 page.. Hope this makes sense 😃
Also after I save my canva pdf designs and I upload them back the words are jumbled up and not aligned with my designs could you help me with that please ?
You may have to choose the "flatten pdf" option when saving in Canva.
i love your tutorial, it was very helpful but need your help PLEASE ! - how do we tackle the issue of the maximum page capacity on canva? realistically we want to create a digital planner that is more than 300 pages right? so how do we go around creating one that long AND merging them onto a different platform WITHOUT loosing the corresponding hyperlinks ? is a PowerPoint slides the only way???
Thank you! The maximum page count in a canva doc is 350 pages. You can merge the pdf and it should still maintain hyperlinks.
@@kayohdesign due to the complexity of my design i have been capped at 163 pages however, regardless of the 350 page limit stated for basic designs, i still need a planner that has 500+ pages, anyway! is there a way i can do it without using PowerPoint AND still maintain my links ? I've tried duplicating pages within PDF which i thought was a success but turns out the pages i duplicated within PDF did not preserve the hyperlinks :( ...any guidance ?
@starzpartyhouse I am actually not too sure. I haven't personally made a planner with that many pages. I hope you are able to figure out the best way to finish it :)
Is it better to start with sunday on every planners?
It depends! Some people prefer Sunday or Monday starts.
Q: Here you uploaded the file as a PDF to Etsy, but I've seen videos of people uploading the shareable link from Canva. What is the difference?
Thanks for your question! With uploading this pdf, the customer will have direct access to the file - in this case a digital planner. If someone mentions a link, for Etsy, they are most likely selling templates in their shop that their customers would buy and then edit. Hope this helps!
I think mine turns out great, but why can’t i hyperlink the tabs?
Could there be a text box that's covering the entire tab? So it doesn't select the tab when you try to link it? Maybe make text box smaller (if this is the issue) or you may have to go into the layers and specifically pick the tab. Hope this helps!

I'm a bit confused now. Is this planner supposed to be editable? Because I can't write in the goals/note space on bottom of calendar. I can't write anything in calendar block space either. Maybe Because it's saved as PDF. But how to make this editable without changing original design
What are you using to write in planner? A notetaking app?

Great! I made a few copies of a line and evenly spaced them and added a circle to the left of each of the lines.
