Great review! I love their early stuff. Missed out on the last 3-4. I picked this up and love it. A favorite of '24. And yes, JB is one of the great vocalists.

I loved this new Grand Magus album. They’ve always a great style of classic heavy metal with doom metal influences. I think that this new album is better than Wolf God and Sword Songs and almost as good as Triumph and Power.

Wolf's Return is my favourite record of theirs. The opening track, Kingslayer, might just be their best song overall.

Solid heavy metal from the band. Catchy, anthemic, melodic. I've been listening to it in the car. Really fun. It is pronounced Magus like 'Garden'.
