@@striker0603 I said that there's already a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game that has a story that shows what makes Pokémon Mystery Dungeon truly great, and it's called Pokémon Legends Arceus.
And then there's Pokémon Legends Arceus, a brand new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, that shatters all hopes for a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers DX to become the best Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, as Pokémon Legends Arceus became the best Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game overnight, and not even a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers DX can match the likes of Pokémon Legends Arceus.
There's already a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game that is even better than a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky remake, it's called Pokémon Legends Arceus.
Tbh I really wonder what a new Mystery Dungeon game could do storywise. Kinda feels like all ground has already been covered in terms of unique concepts. The only thing I can think of is maybe making the protagonist a more complex character? Tho they're supposed to be a self-insert so not sure if that'd be allowed. Also considered maybe making the partner like, secretly evil or at the very least betraying you, but that kinda sounded fanfictiony to me lol
The partner betrayal was kind of achieved in PMD Sky Special Episode 5 and on a large scale that could be interesting in a similar way. (Seemingly good partner --> Short, perhaps slightly longer, betrayal --> Becoming good again to fight final boss)
Yeah. That's one problem I figured would come up with a new PMD since they would have to come up with a fresh concept for the story without something coming off as a bit rehashed.
There's already a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game that did just that, it's called Pokémon Legends Arceus, and it's the first Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game not to feature the partner, a major change-up for the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon storyline.
@@UltraAryan10 And it was also kind of achieved in Pokémon Legends Arceus, the most recent Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, where the partner doesn't even exist.
I'd appreciate a pmd game that has an actual pokemon as a villain again. And i'd prefer the truly random adventures again. Super was a nice return to form after the veritable disaster that was gates to infinity, but the whole time i was just thinking "Everybody does this mission. This isn't unique to my playthrough." And that kind of sucked ngl.
That's a fair point. Random missions definitely kept things interesting. If they can somewhat keep the streamlined way of recruiting Pokemon like in Super, but still have random missions then it would be good. I know some people are fans of the traditional way of recruiting Pokemon, but with as many Pokemon as there are and will be the traditional way is more tedious than anything. At least imo.
We already have that, it's called Pokémon Legends Arceus, and it features Dialga and Palkia as the final bosses, and Arceus as the true final boss, all 3 of them are actual Pokémon, and the reason why i said Dialga and Palkia together as the final bosses is because you can encounter either Dialga or Palkia first, making the other Pokémon that you haven't encountered, the final boss for you, and then there's also the Lake Guardians, where you can encounter either Uxie, Mesprit or Azelf first, then one of the other 2 Pokémon second, and then the remaining Pokémon third, meaning there's 3 factorial possible options, which is 6, and since you meet them twice, and both of them are independent to one another, there's actually 36 different paths that you can be in when we consider that, and then there's also Heatran, Regigigas and Cresselia, which is the same thing as the Lake Guardians, except you only encounter them once, and instead of being Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, they're Heatran, Regigigas and Cresselia, taking all of this together, and we already have 452 different path routes that we can fall into, and then when we also take into account side quests, the number grows to an unimaginably large number, as in side quests, you can recieve rewards once you complete it, while not being part of the main story, so not really true random adventures, but rather semi-random adventures, and it's close enough, so i call it a pass.
Rescue Team DX sold pretty well as far as spin-offs go. Sure it is a remake that can easily cash in on nostalgia, but with how well it sold it shows there is still an audience.
There's already a brand new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game that isn't a remake of an older game, it's called Pokémon Legends Arceus, and it's the best Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game ever.
My idea for an Explorers Remake -Add Arceus. -Mega Evolution returns. -Z Moves maybe? -More Shinies. -All Gen 1-4 Pokémon along with their Evolution and regional forms (Sylveon, Alolan, Galarian Formes, maybe any new regional forms from the new Scarlet and Violet if they have any.)
Let's test that for Pokémon Legends Arceus : Explorers remake ? Nope, but it's instead something even better, a brand new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game altogether. Arceus ? Of course check, it's even in the title afterall. Mega-evolutions ? Nope. Z-moves ? No, but we did get the next best thing, Agile and Strong styles. More shinies ? Check. All gens 1-4 Pokémon along with their evolutions and regional variants ? No, but at least we got some gens 5-7 Pokémon like Oshawott, Bergmite and Rowlet, Alolan Vulpix, some exclusive Hisuian variants like Hisuian Growlithe and Hisuian Arcanine, and even some upcoming gen 9 Pokémon like Wyrdeer and Kleavor. So Pokémon Legends Arceus have some of your ideas covered, but it's not what you've expected.
I would like the new Pokémon mystery dungeon game to be an open world game kind of like genshin impact in a way. More starters to choose with a rare chance even be a shiny versions. I would also like to see romance between you and your partner with special missions you can do like how star wars the old republic does with your companions. Pokemon really has no romance other than a couple of instances with ash but not long term.
what to expect from a new pmd game: NEW GENERATIONS PLEASE AND A LOT MORE STARTERS THAN JUST MAIN GAME STARTERS. Maybe almost if not every baby pokemon being an option? i've never truly felt satisfied with pmd starter options, especially not gti's p.s 3d pmd is a mistake, i've always hated how it looked. i'd rather have a 2d pixel one but having the pixel art look even more stunning than the first two games.
Fans want a new games, while others want an explorers remake. I'd say why not both? Imagine an explorers remake with new pokemon ranging from gen 5-9, a reimagined story and a new post game.
if so have difficulty modes cuz MD has some difficulty in dungeons and the floors to bosses , with able to save before boss cutscenes and then battle would be helpful vs me in a explorers beated and go through floors again with low on good items
They will never add friend areas, the game will be very very easy, auto explore will come with auto attack, gummis will be reduced to a single item. Like the comment so i can mourn the game when when its comes out
