Hi, if you’re using mix 5/6 for the livestream , do you connect two XLR cables in the mix outputs on the back side of the board and go into an ATEM mini utilizing 1/8” TRS into mics 1 & 2 inputs on the ATEM? Or do you go from your outputs in the back using an XLR - y cable to a 1/8” TRS into mic 1 of the ATEM? We currently use mix1 into the ATEM using an XLR from the back of the QU16 and connecting to the ATEM with a 1/8” TRS. With this setup the music drops out and is barely audible. To the point that all you hear are voices and some drums.
Hey @adanmonsibaiz3564, Mix 5/6 is set up as stereo- 5 is left, 6 is right. Mic 1 on your ATEM is also stereo as is Mic 2. I don't know very much about these A/V systems. (QU32) I want to livestream from our church for all the services. However when we do what most people refer to as Sunday School we are live-streaming that too but we don't want the Mic's we use for this part of the service to be heard in the church, only on the live stream. Also we don't want have to set everything up again everytime we go livestream for here School service. Can you help me?
Absolutely! You can set individual channels to be post or pre. If you set the mic channels that you don't want to be heard in the house to pre, you can have the faders in the house mix down while having them "up" on the livestream mix.
Thank you for the informative video! I have a question about streaming digital rather than analog. Is it possible to output a mix through the USB cable? Also, can the mix outputs be assigned to output through the USB? My situation is that the mixer is bringing in USB tracks and some analog XLR tracks And I would like to send a mix to a DAW. Is that possible?

We will typically use an audio interface to go from XLR to USB. Then, in obs, you can add that interface as an audio capture device.

Personally, I would just use an audio interface such as a Scarlet or an ART Dual Pre.
