Xbox Series X: Runs 4K @ 60FPS with Dynamic Resolution
PS5: The option for native 4K on PlayStation has been deactivated due to stability- and performance-related reasons. SO right Now its 1080p @60fps upscaled to 4K @60fps. It will remain deactivated for the release version, too.
The native PlayStation 5 version features faster loading times, HDR as well as DualSense and Activity Card support. Players will be able to choose between three different modes:
1. Quality Mode: Native 4K (with Dynamic Resolution) @ stable 30 FPS
2. Performance Mode: Native 1440p (with Dynamic Resolution) @ stable 60 FPS
3. Quality Unleashed: Native 4K (with Dynamic Resolution) @ up to 60 FPS

I cant comment on the PS5 version specifically but im playing the Series X version and when you are actually playing the game for yourself, you can really tell a difference. The controls are more tight, and i bet the game will use the ps5 dualsense features. Also the graphics look oh so much crisper in person. Its a decent upgrade imo, esp. since i already owned the xbox one version, and its a free upgrade.
You can tell the difference because you use to have xbox one.. Xbox one is the weakest miscalculated lastgen console in history, if you jump to xbox one x or Xbox series x you can really see huge improvement in graphics and performance..

@@oceottt2365 Reallly? I just downloaded it and it said "free PS5 upgrade" in the lower left of the image.
The only difference i see they add more grass and slightly tall grass.. I see no pop in shadow on ps5 it has high draw distance obviously because the grass is already render while in ps4 pro you need to come a little closer before the grass pop in. Ps5 has slightly better texture... Ps5 has better proper ambian occlusion , while on ps4 pro the ambian occlusion is over saturated it almost looks like fake. Both console suffer from low texture filtering..

Is a gorgeous game on ps4 pro to. The small difference in ps5 is irrelevant and id your worried more about gfx then you’re on the wrong platform anyway and should switch to a pc if you really want maximum quality possible in a game. This game is superb like it is!

Yeah...Biomutant is nowhere near that smooth or crisp on PS4 Pro in either mode.
Im maybe blind i dont see changes on ps 5 both run 60fps and graphic its same

Ps4 version hiccups and stutters all the time, I haven't had any of that on the ps5 update yet.

@@angelosan4677 it really not the same though one it's alot more smoother feeling to it. The picture clarity is miles better. Play the ps4 pro version which is locked to the base os4 version at 1080p. Ps5 version is 4k 60, and the performance mode is 1440p 60. The texture are definitely better. If you can't see that idk what to tell you
what graphics mode would you recommend?

There is. It's just bugged for some people like loads of PS5 upgrades. The PS store is poo. I luckily managed to download it earlier and it's a real nice upgrade! Miles better than the past version

Much higher res at 60fps. Much better foliage, depth of field, lighting in some scenes, fur, SSR, SSAO, some textures and some draw distances + addition of HDR too. It's cool if you can't see it on a compressed UA-cam video as most upgrades like this are pretty minor to people who aren't into a game's graphical makeup... but there are BIG differences here. Especially when viewing the game in person. Looks real nice on PS5, wasn't that much of a looker on PS4
You'll notice the difference when playing. It's a far cleaning image.

It looks exactly the same, and if the PS4 version was running on a PS5 instead of a pro, they would probably run at the same framerate.
