This is the perfect foundation for me. I get compliments all of the time. Im glad that I didn't listen to all of the bad reviews. Worth every penny. If you dont have major skin issues and dont have oily skin its perfect. I think it looks really good on you.
I think Pat is used to working with models that have flawless skin that won’t need much. I’m outside of the u.s. so I have to be supeerrrrr selective about purchases so thanks for giving us a good review 👍🏾 Issa no for me dawg 😩🤭
Gurllllll, they skin is just as regular as ours! She's just speaking to a different demographic i.e. people with deeper pockets. I've seen quite a few influencers who do Not like her foundation. Personally, I have found that Ulta Foundation treats me better than some of the "higher end"
Thanks Tiff. I never bought the foundation because for $68 it would have to be amazing, yet from the reviews I've seen (people of all different skin types and colors), it just didn't seem worth the price point. I'm trying to pay off loans and have to be very selective about what luxury makeup products to invest in. Thank you for this video!!

I love the pat mcgrath 6 pan eyeshadow palette, which was $55. The formula is great! When I heard that the foundation was $68, I can't see myself spending that much money on a foundation that provides light coverage and doesn't hold up on my oily skin.
I agree with you Tiff about the foundation. I went to Sephora and got 2 samples of the Pat Mcgraff foundation and one of the Giorgio Armani foundation ( I heard they were similar). I tested for a week, and decided to buy the Giorgio Armani. I could not justify the expense for the Pat foundation based what it looked liked on me. But I did discover a new favorite that was a cult classic a few years ago that I never tried, the Giorgio Armani fluid sheer.

Thanks for this review Tiff. Although, I was never planning to purchase a $68 foundation, it's good to know this highlights texture on the skin. And as a woman in my life 40s I don't need anything thing highlighting my texture.

Ikr. I cringe to spend $30 on foundation.....for me to spend $68 it would have to need no concealer, no powder, full coverage, last all day and all night and apply itself
It's a shame that it didn't work out but for me I'm always secretly happy when an expensive foundation doesn't work. Cause at least I won't have to buy it again 🤷🏽♀️

I didn't think it looked bad at all on you but agree it's all about your own feelings of how it looks and feels on your skin; which is the case with any foundation to be completely honest. I'm oily combo and bought this more so for the cool/cold months ahead when I tend to step away from my mattifying foundations. I agree 100%, the better your skin, the better this foundation will look as this will not cover scars/spots on the skin and I'm not one who applies multiple layers of foundation and since my skin is going pretty good these days, this foundation is working well for me. When I do wear it, I do use a mattifying primer and set with a mattifying setting powder.

I have seen people with “perfect” skin look flawless in this but those with any type of blemish, this foundation did little to cover it. For $68, I don’t want to apply it, I want it to apply itself, and the fact that is has little coverage but seems to be for making perfect skin look better, doesn’t help us regular folk. I knew this wasn’t meant for me, and I’m ok with that. Thanks, Tiff, glad you took it back and posted this.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have the foundation and I love it but I probably will be reluctant to repurchase it because of the price. The coverage was decent for me but I do find that I don't reach for it if I notice the texture on my face wilding out a lil bit. It didn't wow me for the price. Its nice but not a must buy
Thank you for this thorough review! I purchased this foundation and I took it back because I felt it accentuated my fine lines. It settled so quickly in my smile lines (like 10min after Application) and it made certain areas of my normal type skin dry. But, I kind of want to try it again and I think it’s because so many people love it. But, I feel the same as you, for $68, I was expecting perfection and did not get that.
Auntie pat return policy is good send them a email let them know you used it and they will return you quick.
The powder is nice.

I bought this and the new fenty and I love both. I think it is definitely geared for people with unproblematic skin - no visible pores and no blemishes. It really works great as a very light coverage hydrating foundation. I've never had acne and the odd pimple or two I get never leave blemishes so it's worked well. I think she needs to create a different version for combo/oily skin people.
Hey Tiff, first off I wasn’t about to spend $68/$136 (if I need to mix) on a foundation with light/medium coverage. On top of that I don’t think Pat made this foundation with “regular” customers in mind I believe it was made for models/people that need little to no correct basically their skin is perfect. Once I saw reviews and most people were saying “skin like”, I decided against buying this foundation just because I like some coverage. I don’t need full coverage however I like the feeling of at least medium coverage. I may try the powder. I did buy every other new foundation tho... I’m still trying them all. I’m a complexion junkie!
This foundation is only for those perfect skin models that she hires and for those whom have no imperfections.

Yeah, it's definitely a preference. I'm sorry but as a dry girl with texture in certain areas.... this is a no. I would rather use my BareMinerals Complexion Rescue for all that. At least it helps with my dryness. Don't let it be a day where I may have a dry patch.... and the way my hormones are set up as I get older. Oh goodness no. Thanks for the review sis!

I took shade 24 back, too red and I liked shade 23 on me. But then I tried NYX Born to Glow for $10 shade Nutmeg and it's the bomb. Sh*T!!! I think I am going to return Pat again. The coverage of the NYX is perfect. I'm just sayin!!
Tiff I sent mine back as well. I had a really hard time finding a shade match and wasn’t a fan of the consistency.
Mother Pat is too expensive for me for 68 dollars. I just use what I have been using.

Yep I reviewed it and took it back too. It’s such a waste, it’s for dry PERFECT skin.
I like that kind of foundation, more light wear instead of the high coverage ones. I don't like those. So I have to say, this intrigues me. However, that prize is a no for me. It's too much for a foundation I have to order online. If I could try it firt, get a sample, see if the shade is right for me, try the formula, then I would consider. But I can't do that and I think it's too much of a gamble.

@Tifjef069 Do your glasses mess up your makeup? If you have discovered a trick to not messing your makeup up wearing eyeglasses or sunglasses, can you do a tutorial on it?
Shimita Davis omg alllll the time. I can add some powder and that will delay the rubbing off but never for long. Honestly I’ve learned to just avoid putting too much foundation in that area anymore and that’s the only thing that truly works!

I love ALL things Auntie Pat EXCEPT this foundation. I tried several different primers, powders and setting sprays. It looked beautiful when applied then came smile lines. Then it broke down around my nose. Then came texture... Ohhh no hunteee!!! I returned it and gladly took my $68 refund.

I got a sample in my shade.Used a setting spray. Alcohol is in the top of the ingredient list. It’s not transfer proof. It looks gorgeous on but I’m not buying it.

Pmg made this for models who wear light coverage for limited amounts of time. This isn't for consumers who wear foundation for 8+ hours. ND and PMG are tapping into the consumer market with products that aren't truly representative of that purpose. Consumers need to stop being name struck and buy products that really provide the performance they need.
Pretty Accountant the product is sold as a long wear buildable to medium coverage foundation, i don’t feel like this test really pushed the limit of that claim

Oh honey. In the those clips in the car you can tell your skin has a lot of texture. You could definitely benefit from a chemical exfoliator. Focus less on makeup and more on skincare

@1pimpafro I've rocked with Jackie for years and it's because she is honest about these products but I also know that she is a fan of Pat's work and she loves Nars products & her own foundation collab, Born This Way- so maybe that's why. Idk but I think Jennie thought more about it because she spent her own coins
