@@putnamizer Yes you can create perfectly placed notes and sounds exactly where you want them on a grid in Logic or Abelton or Pro Tools. You can indeed make amazing facsimiles of real instruments.
But true musicianship isnt really about perfection as seen in a DAW.....its about feeling and nuance and imperfections...coming together to make magic.
But sadly too many see music in 100% electronic production terms. That has led to fewer kids learning to play instruments and the death of one of the most unsung parts of the music industry, the professional Session Musician.
Freddy DJ FreddyG oh man just know I’m 100% with you on that. I just mean like for example, j dilla humanized the mpc, you can do that with anything if you are musically inclined enough.
