- Here is a quick how to video for any S550 Mustang owners who want to know how to replace their front wheel bearings. Pretty straight forward unless you have extended studs like I do. Watch along for all the details!

good video! Thought it would be more harder. So if you don't have the extended studs then this is just a replacement correct?
Much easier than the backs. The 4 bolts holding the rears in are a pain to get to.
You supposed to use a torque wrench, not a breaker bar. That's why you're bearings wore out prematurely.

How did u know u needed new hubs?
I noticed at my s550 that the brake disc itself isn’t bolted to anything - so it’s flopping around when the wheel is off - it’s just held by the wheel when it’s on. Is that normal on a s550?
Yes very normal, some discs are held on with a set screw the mustang is not

You dont have to change the studs unless you run wheel spacers************* thats what you should of said. you made it sound a little confusing. the brake caliper bolt size is 15mm also but good vid
What happened with the muffler repair?
I couldn't find anyone that was willing to weld it. No shops wanted to touch it. I ended up trying that muffler putty stuff you can get from autozone, which sort of worked. It's better than it was but not amazing. I just still can't swallow coughing up $500 for a muffler.
*2015 and the wheel bearing already needs replacing? ford quality must suck*

If you do heavy track/backroad driving, they go out fast. I’ve already replaced 1 within 2 years and mine’s a 2020
i have a 2020 mustang and my front passenger is messed up.....im at 14k miles lmao just out of warranty. the wheel bearings suck

@@emorygriffin4779 my car when I was hitting bumps or turning would make a weird metallic popping noise, the Nut holding the bearing on was Completely lose with the cap still sealed by ford. Caused bearing play, tightened it down to 150lbft and had play so replaced it.
Standing on the brake does nothing. Spindle/wheel nut will tighten to the notln-rotating spindle threads just fine regardless of the disc being on there.
