Arguably the most powerful prospect in the senior class, Paul Washington Jr. dominated both games he played in the 10th annual Cancer Research Classic! The future Kentucky Wildcat has an extremely versatile game for his 6'8 frame as he's effective on and off the ball. PJ has a "no plays off" type of mentality and already has a pro-ready body. Next yr's Ky squad (which still left up in air. Due to, prospects still out there, Cal is all in for; ala Bamba and Knox. Or are there any suprise returns/transfers) from everything we can envision as of now, may not have this yr's team speed (when rolling) but 1 thing they SHOULD, and I put it in caps, bc this yr's squad was thought to have makings of tremendous defensive team, itleast perimeter speaking, and that hasn't been the case.. But bk to my SHOULD, this team really should have that DOG, in them! Have that swagger, but not the kind bc think we're the stuff, but bc that kind bc they aren't afraid to roll up sleeves and get dirty, and go to war! That swag, like you will break first, due to our overall physicality and effort!! Guys like PJ Washington, Nick Richards, Diallo, and even though a small dude, Quade Green, loves to mix it up.. Even though Vanderbilt plays the fast, silky smooth long versatile Foward, he rebounds well, and has flashes that he will be a really good defender at College level. Will be an extremely Long team! After Quade, everyone is good size, and long reach/wingspan. Even though Washington is looked at as undersized 4 man, which in College, not really so, but he makes up for it, with really long arms, and crazy wingspan for his size. Plus has that power and motor.. So, actually I really look foward to that group. Wish they had a pure knock down shooter or 2. But Cal will never go out of way to get those guys, bc if he doesn't think they can defend at an elite level, do other things, rather than spot up, he usually will look elsewhere.. Just his track record..
