Is that a tempest filter? They specifically say (right on the side of the filter) NOT to lube the gasket. They are pre impregnated with magic, they don’t want you to lube it with anything.
It is a tempest, and you are right. Just read a filter, and I was supposed to install it dry. I will be checking it like crazy, until my next oil change. Thanks for noticing and letting me know.
@@IAMooneyman don’t sweat it.. if anything, it’ll be a little harder to remove.. I think the oil you added makes it over tighten it a little.. it’ll be fine!
