Great video on the pump, only thing I wish you would have done is the logbook entry just to go over it because remember changing a vacuum pump is not preventive maintenance so it would have been great to see the logbook entry other than that good video

DD looked absolutely miserable all the way from liftoff to touchdown. You should have been a bit more patient at the end. Flying isn't for everyone. Hopefully, she'll come to enjoy flying as well. My best friend's dad owned a Moony Mark 4 (I think it was called) when I was a teenager back in the 60's. He was a navy pilot in WWII and he flew that thing like a fighter pilot. I have loved flying ever since.

Thanks for the video, Chris! Since I passed my written last month, I soloed in 59F and done all my night flights including the night cross country. Have my stage 1 check on Monday with Glenn, then getting ready for my big XC, then polishing up some maneuvers then my check ride. So hopefully I'll have my PPL in a month or so. I plan on starting my instrument rating work this fall/winter.

I saw you last Wednesday around 2240Z, you were taxiing past me as I was just cranking up N44526. Great looking Mooney! My training is progressing well. Went up last night did some ground reference maneuvers and five touch and go's, great approaches. Probably going to solo tomorrow afternoon. Great video as always!!

It was great to meet Melvin. I see you and Melvin in there and I don't feel like you have less shoulder space than my wife and I in a 172. My wife flew us to Mason City last night to the Mexican restaurant but she didn't notice the winter hours that they closed at 3PM. We had to go down the road to get some food.

Thanks for taking us to KIKV. I went flying yesterday morning in N41619 around 11am, just doing some pattern work and touch and go's. Executed two really good approaches. The first approach was really good but a gust of wind screwed me up about 50 feet off the ground so I executed a go around. Winds were around 340@14 gusting to 21. The second approach was also good, but my landing was fair. Going to take the written in the morning at West DSM and flying in the late afternoon. So say a quick prayer for me around 9am tomorrow, if you can. Keep the videos coming!! Highly motivating.
