Balmoral & yacht close call at Watchet harbour (2010).

This yacht ignored the marina gate red lights and was nearly run down by the Balmoral at the entrance to Watchet harbour. The Captain of the Balmoral was very quick to set the engines astern as soon as he saw the yacht and prevent a collision.

I was on the Balmoral when this happened and the Skipper of the Yatch gave us the finger as he went past!!

"Bloody idiot!" says it all. At least Balmoral was on the ball and went full astern instantly, doesn't she just rock under the suddenly changed torque!
