- Today I felt like draping again! It's been a while.
This dress is such a nice project to feel like a princess!

3,50m fashion fabric
0,50m iron-on interfacing
1,60m lining
0,23 - 0,30cm elastic (depending on your size, written on the pattern)
40cm in seam zipper in a matching color

This is fabulous ! The draping, the sewing into shape, loved every step and looking forward to trying my own :) Thanks for the detailed explanations.
Faves are the fabric and most of the style, especially the skirt and sleeves and flow of the dress. Would prefer a more demure neckline but in a new style I like, and not cut outs for me. I know modest style is not popular but I prefer it.
I’m old timey, old fashioned, even my mom called me a grandma for not liking miniskirts. She forced me three times. Hated it, all the time, I had to make sure nobody could see up into it, especially sitting down.
I like my knees covered or longer. Half shin is my fave style of pants, too. But bell bottom pants look good on me. Other styles, not so much. I have a very rounded bottom, looks funny in skinny jeans to me. Need the balance.
I have specific styles I love on myself. Also, just dressing for comfort over style. Not really into fashion dressing.
But admire how beautiful it looks on healthy frames.
Foodie here, learned about strategic dressing to look good even as a chubby girl. It is possible. Not always addressed by fashion designers. The few that do, I love their dresses. Specifically, Mod Cloth.

I have been working on a few bridesmaid dresses this week, and this video is perfect timing. I needed to figure out how to add the zipper without so much bulk-i-ness. Thank you so much. It took me 2 days to figure out how to remove the big chest area, from another bridesmaid dress. lol I need all the help I can get.
