500 years old construction is not one day old mosque. Before thay it was Buddhist city SAKETA during Gupta era and Buddhist city and Buddhist monastries was destroyed by hindu Hunas . Yep as someone who does paintings as a hobby I can understand how difficult it is to bring such expressions in paintings. Iskon depictions about hindu puranic scenes are majestic . They take lot of inspiration from classical European paintings

Mayapur is located in the Nadia district of West Bengal, India. It is situated on the banks of the Ganges River, approximately 130 kilometers north of Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal. Mayapur is renowned as the birthplace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a major proponent of the Bhakti movement in Hinduism. It is also home to the headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and attracts pilgrims and tourists from around the world.

Beautiful temple!! I hope we get to visit some day. Been following its construction on your channel. I still recall your little girl not wanting to get on the elevator as it looked a bit scary to her 😊 Our family deity is Lord Narasimha. My father’s 500+ year old, large pancha loha idol of Laxmi Narasimha used to be worshipped in Canada when we moved there from India. Then it went back to India with my parents when they returned there in their old age. My father worshipped it till the age of 99 when he passed. Then the idol came to America with my brother and he’s worshipping it daily. I’m glad I get to see that special idol whenever I visit him (used to live 30 mins away but farther now). Even the saaligrama my father had of Lord Narasimha with mouth wide open and large teeth are donated to a temple in India for daily Abhishekam.
