the way jd2/3 worked is so interesting. instead of 25fps videos the background were being rendered realtime in a 3d environment with the score balls reflecting and the dancers running in front sometimes. I wish they kept that element of realism, each dance felt like its own world
I’m so glad they made JD2 & JD3 look like actual party games, after the first game looked like a workout game for Baby Boomers (no offense lol). They made them all exciting and fun, which paved a way for the series’ success. They really proved that you can work hard to make something a sucess!!!

I really liked these. I wish Ubisoft wouldn't make all of their Just Dance routines pre-rendered (if you don't know what that means, then it's the coach & background in one video).
Thanks so much for uploading this! I could totally just play this in the background and instantly feel like I’m in a different place. Oh, but just so you know: The special edition songs do actually have these sounds do. Funkytown and Jai Ho don’t have them if played on Summer Party, but they do if played on the special edition of JD2. I’d love if you could upload those too.
This kinda reminds me of the Cuphead Overworld Sounds. But hey it’s actually pretty cool just dance hiding unique sound effects during the liminal spaces.
sad to miss out on all of these background rendering on Just Dance 2..... 😥 This us something Ubisoft should return on the new Just Dance... anyway songs like Should I Stay or Should I Go has ambient sounds so very few DLCs have this feature

hello finance.
@pedrosouza9966 textures were loaded into memory and then all assets were rendered in real time and a large part procedurally too
Thankfully, they sort of brought back the element of realism in 2023 Edition in some maps.
You can tell they really tried to make this a hit game and they really did do a good job!!!

This is interesting because it could become a detail that gives a little story to the dance or background of some songs
Now we got lore

Liminal Spaces, Just Dance Version/Style. This was an interesting concept for the songs.
Omg youre right! Also, cool to meet another liminal man
They didn’t have to add this detail, but they did. I wish this was seen again.

The Rockefeller Skank one sounds like a remixed version of the menu music

but the ready screen sounds aren't unique unlike JD2's
mines are Michael Jackson the experience sounds
