- Kenny Lawler scored the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter and Zach Collaros threw for 231 yards as the Blue Bombers defeated the Roughriders for their fifth straight win.
Probably one of the best games this season. The Riders brought it all, and were really close. CFL at it's best !!

The CFL needs to protect quaterbacks with proper penalties. Repeat offenders like Brown should be ejected from the game. I hope the Bombers put some serious legal hurt on this idiot in the trenches. I hope you are proud of yourself Mr. Brown. Nice week of work. You hurt 2 guys standing in front of you defensless. Brave man you are.
There is a disconnect somewhere in that organization. They keep on relying on yesterday to win games. Why is it a problem finding young talented quarterbacks.
Well, as someone who once lived in Saskatchewan, it pains me to say this, but..
The Riders starting 5-1 is like the Leafs loss to Montreal just a few years back.
Or Tampa Bay getting swept in the first round by Columbus (or Boston losing to Florida two years ago).
There's a lot of sports comparisons to make, but for 7 weeks, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have looked like to most ineffective, uncommitted, lacklustre franchise in professional sports.
The organization should be embarrassed: after the first third of the season, first overall.
I'd bet money that they officially miss the playoffs after losing in their 16th game of the year.
Not down to the wire.
Not in control of their own destiny.
Just emphatically eliminated in yet another one score loss against a team they could have beat if they weren't just the Blue Jays of CFL aka NFL Lite.
